Sayers and Payton were more than just generational players. Tough to compare anyone to them. Especially at this point in his career. But damn he is just fun to watch, even when he is making a bad choice. He can just make grown men look silly, and announcers!!!

Unbelievable!! A long time a coming!!!

"Is there a starting 11 in the league superior to Chicago’s defense? Only one that leaps to mind is Matt Nagy’s nearly 3,300-pound Santa’s Sleigh package." Can there be a better way to start a new story for the Bears than to beat Rogers and the Packers at home to clinch the NFC North title this Sunday. Common Mitch, this is where it starts!!

P.S. I just had a great ribeye steak cooked on the grill outside tonight. I love Cali even if I can't go to Bears games often enough. And I love it when we beat the niners. But remember 89 I believe. When they went into Chicago and kicked our ass 28-3. Even with Bear weather. Still sticks in my craw hearing Montana giving the pre game talk!!! Not good QB play that game.

Sad to see fellow Bears fans at each others throats. I have never played competitive football. But I have watched a ton. I was alive and watched in 63. 85-97. 2006. And almost every game for almost 60 years. Yes it was a great win on Sunday and I was standing in my living room making quiet fake cheers and hand claps for the whole fourth quarter, not to wake anyone up, wishing I was at the game. I'm almost 70 and don't have much time left to see a Bears team become not only relevant but DOMINATE. And with QB play like Sunday night that's not going to happen. Yea, it was great and is great but winning in the reg. season is not the Holy Grail for me. They will not win a Super Bowl with QB play like we have seen more times than not this season. I hope Mitch get it right. He is our guy for the next ten years. I have seen games where he did but it all together. But I'm tired of just being a great defense team with no SB's.

"Kneeling out with almost 2 minutes against the "best team in football"? Not tonight. I like our "chances" against any team in the NFL after the way they played tonight. The off. line did a great job against one of the best def. lines in football! And the def. did more than enough to DOMINATE a great offense!! But you will not go anywhere with QB play like Mitch showed tonight. I can remember all the years from 86 on!! Great def. is just not enough in todays NFL. Hell we came back last week in the final two minutes with no real off.

DOMINATE. Don't care about anything else tonight. That can be talked about during the week

Mike (Rosie O'donnal) McCarthy fired. Hope the wheels are starting to fall off. Rosie ref. to photo of him years ago that looked just like Rosie. Which I could find it again.

It sucks that they have kick our ass for decades. But the fact that they had two HOF GB's and not only that but one of the greatest of all time in a row and only won two SuperBowls. I'm sorry, but that is the greatest waste of talent in sports. I felt crushed in the late 80,s and early 90,s for never getting back but Farve and Rodgers and only two.

It also seems that they are limited to running Howard inside the tackles. He seems to be just a power runner vs some of the other backs in the same type of offense. And I don't think we can just depend on Cohen to be the main back. I loved his first two years in Chicago but just like Fox was a coach who's time came and left. Maybe they should look at others options. Seems like I see a lot of backs who fit this scheme better every Sunday.

And the receivers are getting open more and more. I'm not used to seeing receivers so wild open. I always wonder why some teams could do that and the Bears seldom seemed able. Now I understand. Scheme, coaching and athletic players. What a difference.

One of the best things I seem to notice as time goes on. He looks thru his progressions and throws the ball to the correct receiver. Not always a good throw but he is making better and better choices. That is only a good thing. The mechanics are something he should improve on with time

All things considered this was an ugly game. Almost any other team and we lose. Sloppy play and the offense was not fun to watch. Best bright spot was A. Smith on D. He is now starting to play like a real difference maker. I look forward to next week and hope for the return of Mack and Robinson, who has had no effect on the offense yet.

P.S. I got both of mine with fictitious names and numbers. But the stitched is Nike NFL approved. Maybe you could find a place that does that and just get Mack and his number done. I got mine over ten years ago both still hold up but were not that cheap.

I have both a screen printed one and a stitched one. I really like the authentic stitched but it is heavy and I find I wear the printed one more often. Tell the misses that if she really loves you she will let you get one of each..Just kidding of course. I would get the style you like the best and not worry about how its made.
