  1. I hope Drew realizes he likely just crushed whatever chances there were for his client to get traded this weekend. One thing GM's and owners hate is agents showing them up and using the media in their tactics, and giving into this plea would basically be like rolling over and letting Drew use you as a door mat.
  2. Columbo was a good pick, and is proving that now, he just had shit luck with injuries while here. Wolfe and Bradley are unknown at this point regardless of whatever doom-and-gloom prognostications you would like to throw out there for them. Everything I've seen from Mark says he can be a very good receiver, too bad our staff screwed the pooch on that one last year, BIG TIME.
  3. What of my 500 channels is going to have this reported? nevermind, just saw it on nfln's bottom line. I had heard they were offering this years first and third along with next years second, so that would be a no-brainer for KC.
  4. Yay!!! More stirring up the **** from the media with no solid proof whatsoever, without the "confidential sources" there's not even an article. I love glorified gossip pieces and idle speculation by the mediot dirt bags.
  5. Meh, he's just an okay return man, and I would bet 99% of the reason for him replacing Manning next to Hester at the goal line had to do with Danieal stealing too many of Devin's balls. As far as the unhappy Devin, Deion can eat a **** as far as I'm concerned for being the voice of displeasure. Once an attention whore, always an attention whore, I just wish him and his shitty reality show would disappear into the abyss forever.
  6. He does what he's asked to rather well, and for the money, it's a good deal for sure. He has probably had the most consistent hands of our entire WR corps over the past two season, and he is a quick in-and-out of his routes slot guy, so I'm happy to keep him here.
  7. I was going to say, one more DUI, and he's sitting out a season. With how horrible the Queens have been at drafting in the first (and pretty much everywhere), outside of AP falling into their laps last year, this deal would be a almost a sure winner for them IMO.
  8. We didn't get rid of AA, and are we talking about football players or pears? His name is Barrett, and judging a player on the comparison they give at NFL.com is pretty mindless.
  9. Going to ASU and seeing every play Josh has been a part of, I can say that I am not impressed by him whatsoever. Overrated as an in-the-box S, and his coverage has been terrible more often than not. Tight hips in transition, and his range isn't anywhere close to the equivalent of his 40 time. Still, I would rather have him than Zib, because he's a better athlete to go along with his better size.
  10. The real reason why those rumblings of him dropping exist is because his knees are in such horrendous shape. He may turn out to be a very good player, but I'd rather not take a risk on damaged goods when we know so up front. No thanks.
  11. He's more of a pure blocking FB than a runner. Not enough wiggle to be handed to ball consistently in the NFL. I'd rather have Hillis, more athletic, agile, and versatile. He's my favorite FB prospect to come out in a good while.
  12. ...and the knees of a 40 year old. Also, NFLDC and good evaluations about prospects are not synonymous.
  13. He actually just dove to the outside and hit his ankle while Ced was running by him. My point was that I figured a few of you Benson haters would have gone out and bought an Abdullah jersey because he put him out for the season. This type of statement about him getting caught from behind is the the reason I posted what I did in the first place.
  14. Come on people. This is the guy who broke Ced's ankle/leg. At least one of the Benson haters here should have remembered that.
  15. No, I meant Detroit. They traded up three times (using 6 picks) last year throughout the course of the draft.
  16. Well, I don't think Mende gets to us, let alone Detoilet. HOWEVER, they showed last year, they have no problem trading up to get people they want.
  17. Demps isn't worth that early third, and Laws won't be there for the late one. Demps doesn't separate himself even close to enough from that second pack of safeties (Morgan, Adams, Ty J, Demps, DeCoud, Barrett, Zib, Steltz, Roach) to warrant drafting him there, rather than waiting a round and getting our guy there. Heck, he'll probably be there in round four anyway.
  18. Changing Moose for him is just a lateral move, but I won't complain because he has better hands and hopefully came rather cheap.
  19. Seeing how people here complain about Berrian dropping passes, I don't see how they would be pleased with Stallworth and his butterfingers.
  20. Yeah, my head might just explode if he ends up in Minne. I would match ANY offer they give him, and hope he realizes he doesn't want to wear purple, play on turf, catch passes from Tavaris, and get his ass kicked by his former team twice a year.
  21. By my estimation, based on his past, JA only likes monsters at OT, and Shane is only 6'3". Add in the fact that he was absolutely atrocious last year, and I'm not so sure I would even want him. He might be good if he can make the move inside and take an incentives deal though.
  22. Yeah, the money he turned down is disappointing. However, I would do a near match and whatever offer he gets, assuming of course that no one gets nuts in their proposals.
