Winning 6-7 would be a miracle at this point. With 14 games left, getting 7 wins puts them at 7-7, and 6 wins at 6-8 for the remaining games. Based on the last 20 games, that outcome is really hard to see. I am thinking 2-3 wins is the new target.

Battle of the Winless So here we go, after another loss, the Bears continue to grasp for answers. It feels like groundhog day as the team hasn't won in 12 months now. Both teams will consider the other as their get-right game. Whichever team loses, there season will be over because there won't be an easier team on their schedule than this the entire year. So whoever loses has a better shot at 0-17 than going 9-8. The Broncos are 0-3, have allowed 122 pts and have a pts differential of -53. The Bears say, "hold my beer", they are also 0-3, have allowed 106 pts, and have a pts differential of -59. The teams are 31st and 32nd on defense, offensively, the Broncos have the edge in the passing game, and the Bears have a slight edge rushing. The Broncos had 2 games decided by 3 pts total, so they were a lot closer to winning than the Bears. The Bears best game was a 10-pt loss. The Bears are at home, and that is probably the only edge I can see. However, if they start playing bad, the boo-birds, and paper bags will come out. Unless something changes, I can't see the Bears winning a game this season. This one, in theory should be closer, but probably still a loss. I am going with 24-17 Broncos.

Another odd thing is even in a hurry up tempo, everything seems slow. Fields rarely can get to the line, call a play, and hike the ball. The Bears have been in a lot of 2min offenses while losing, and the pace of everything is too slow. It may be slightly faster than normal, but the entire operation seems slower due to Fields. Fields may know the right answer, but it takes him a few seconds to answer the question, whereas in the NFL you have to answer the question immediately.

He got punched in the face on a tackle near the end zone on 3rd down. He was a little shaken up, should've been a penalty. Moore noticed he was groggy, and grabbed him and directed him off the field.

Ravens or Colts (behind Richardson), or Carolina with Reich. He needs an actual ex-QB as his HC, OC, or QB Coach. On a side note, ARob has 11 receptions for PIT, which would tie for the team lead on the Bears. That is how bad it has gotten. Edwards is 2nd in the NFL in tackles, and Edmunds is 8th (31) Kmet is tied with Kelce with 11 receptions RBBC is not working, Fields is leading rusher and the best RB is Herbert with 93, Roschon has 90 with 6 fewer carries.

Someone mentioned it before, so I assumed most on here were doing tradework. So on the draft, you have to go back to his first draft and the entire philosophy. With gaping holes at OL and DL, he went CB and S with his first two picks as a GM. Then with his early 3rd rounder, drafted a senior citizen KR. Come on man. Brisker is not better than any other Safety picked between the 2-4th rounds. Gordon sucked last year and now is on IR. Velus is standing in the end zone for touchbacks and has 1 touch on offense for -3 yards in his first 3 games. He needed to get the trenches fixed or go WR early to get a stud like Pickens. The OL is fine if they draft Michael-Schmitz (C) and got a OT in 2022 with one of those first 3 picks. There were several available. So that would've allowed him to take Carter in the first this year.

This franchise is done. The GM assembled the worst roster in the NFL. Changes need to be made, but there is no point doing it now, but they need to make changes after the TNF loss to WAS in 2 weeks. They will have 3 extra days for a new staff to figure something out. Coaches are the laughingstocks of the league. Flus is a defensive coach that has coached the worst defensive team in the NFL for over 20 games. Getsy can't scheme himself out of a paper bag. Players are clowns. Fields still missing open receivers and taking sacks. He is just not it. How many more games do you need to see him do the same exact thing. Teams know exactly how to defend Fields, keep him in the pocket, make him throw to the middle of the field on timing routes, something he cannot do. WRs dropping balls that hit them in their hands, unacceptable. The defense played the softest zone I have ever seen. 3 receivers open on every play. Brisker celebrating an incompletion down by 40. $60M invested in LBs and we can't stop the run. They need to start thinking firesale now, don't make any of the trade bait players look worse. Try to find trading partners for Mooney, Claypool, Herbert, Foreman, Whitehair, Johnson, Jackson .

Welp, the silver lining is gone, this entire organization is a pile of crap. GM replaced rotational players with new rotational players. Coaches have the worst schemes in the league. Players can't execute anything right. On every play, someone is doing something wrong. Football is not that hard. People make this out to be rocket science and fans don't know shit. That is total BS, half the players are at a 4th grade reading level, so no, this is not hard. The only thing players have over normal people is physical traits suited for the game. Without those, they are working at Home Depot or as a plumber just like us.

Still cutting JaMarcus Gabbert some slack? The guy is just not an NFL QB. He looks lost out there.
-
Fields is a clown. At this point, he is just trying to save face. How do you even defend 99 passing yards with a huge chunk coming in garbage time. He needs to be benched, sit, watch, and study. He clearly has no clue what he is doing. He has 676 passing attempts and 104 sacks, so he's had over 800 drop backs. That is a big enough sample size to know he sucks. To confirm, watch the tape. There are receivers open on almost every play, yet he is scared to throw the ball. His closest comp was Gabbert, now he is worse than him. The last comp is JaMarcus Russell. So he is JaMarcus Gabbert and that is how I will refer to him from now on.

Josh Dobbs joined the Cardinals a week before the season and just beat the Cowboys passing for 189 yds and a TD and ran for 55. Fields had 99 yards passing and most came in garbage time.
-
TD to Moore after a 1 handed grab on the sidelines, but he took a shot to the back and looks like he might have gotten hurt. 41-10 Chiefs. Fields with 99 yards passing.
-
6 minutes left, Fields with 42 passing yards and an INT. He just ain't it.
-
Sanborn with a pick on Gabbert. Fields still about to be 5-23 breaking a tie with Gabbert at 5-22.
-
Gabbert is in. He is Fields. Who will win, they are exactly the same.
-
That had to be one of the worst halfs considering the hype, and the "progression" and "improvement". You have to fire someone, bench some players, something. You can't just keep allowing this to happen.
-
Definitely a chance they at least get 60.
-
I will have to check on the other numbers, but 24-0 so far. Herbert lost the fumble, Fields threw 1 INT.
-
Fire everyone, what more do we need to see? This is so embarrassing.
-
This team is so bad. It is hard to watch. Let's play soft zone against Mahomes so every receiver is open.
-
So far, 1 quarter into the 3rd game, looks exactly the same as every other quarter or game to me. I still do not see the progress.
-
The Bears literally cannot stop anyone on 3rd down. Same today. Good on 1st and 2nd for the most part and then on 3rd, when you know they are passing, you shit the bed?

Breaking News: Alan WIlliams' house and HALAS HALL raided
adam replied to BearFan PHX's topic in Bearstalk
Yeah, things like this just show how bad this organization is from top to bottom. So if there was a forensics vehicle at Halas Hall, it may have not been "raided" but any law enforcement visit would be close enough. So that dude who tweeted it originally was more accurate that not. -
Fields sacked, ugh, Jones got by Wright way too quick, but Fields ran into the sack.
