Will Hernandez RG Cardinals 6. Dennis Daley RG Titans 7. Scott Quessenberry C Texans 8. Evan Brown C Lions 9. Elijah Wilkinson LG Falcons 10. Alex Bars LG Raiders A couple of former Bears making the list. I am shocked that Bars has been able to play that much. I would target Pocic for sure.
  2. Top 10 WRs, based on snap count, under 30, UFAs: 1. Parris Campbell WR Colts 2. JuJu Smith-Schuster WR Chiefs 3. Noah Brown WR Cowboys 4. Equanimeous St. Brown WR Bears 5. Allen Lazard WR Packers 6. Jakobi Meyers WR Patriots 7. Olamide Zaccheaus WR Falcons 8. Trent Sherfield WR Dolphins 9. Mecole Hardman WR Chiefs 10. Demarcus Robinson WR Ravens Poles and Getsy connections. Do the Bears go with another former Packer, or reunite JuJu and Chase?
  3. That was a little before my time, but I saw a lot of highlights growing up of those two. If we can solidify the QB position, everything else becomes easier. The Bears have basically never been afforded that spot to be in. It has always been tough sledding. Not only can Fields lock down that position, he can be a perennial top 10 QB, which puts the Bears in playoff consideration every year (Mahomes, Watson, Allen, Jackson).

  8. There are going to be a ton of cap casualties this offseason as well, 8 teams are already over the cap for 2023, Miami only has 500K, and the Packers, Browns, and Rams will need to shed some salary. That is 12 teams who are going to cut some veterans, and some teams will need to do those pre-June 1st in order to sign new players. Saints, Bucs, Titans, Chargers, Vikings, Jaguars, Bills, and Panthers are all in terrible shape for next season cap-wise.
  9. I heard Pringle may also be active. Mooney, Claypool, Harry, Pringle would be a solid top 4 WR.
  10. Talk about a turnaround. Fields now up to -33.1% DVOA (-79.3% on 03OCT). So he has improved by over 46% in just over a month. If he continues anywhere near this pace, he will be in the positive in 3 weeks, which would be a historic stretch. To put this into perspective, Tua is the only QB above +26% at an absurd +51%. Fields is improving weekly at almost 12%, so he could get to 0% in 3 weeks and potentially +24% in 5 weeks, which would put him 4th in the NFL. If he finished the season with comparable games for the remaining 8, he would end up with one of the best QB DVOA seasons ever. His QBR is now 13th, and he can easily jump into the top 10 (needs +3.5) this week. I figure he will have a good game, but not as good as last week. Even then, that should boost him into the top 10. I still think it is wild that he can break the single season rushing record for a QB without needing 100 yard rushing games every week.
  11. No more Hockenson and week 2 with Claypool. Bears only favored by 3 at home. So that is equal at a neutral site. I think Bears win handily, 31-17
  12. I'm making a list right now. WR is weak in free agency but they can definitely fill some holes in the trenches.
  13. He was a bust 4 weeks ago. It's so funny. I need to start retweeting those. He has shown that he is the best QB drafted in the last few years.
  14. Evans was awesome, that was my childhood. Fields is Evans, Vick, Jackson, Cunningham all together.
  15. Now the media has flipped on a dime. So funny. Come jump on the Fields bandwagon, we still have room.
  16. After the ref aided loss this weekend, the Bears are currently drafting 8th but will slide to 9th with a NO loss to BAL on MNF. With the bye weeks in full force now, there will be a half game difference with some teams until all the teams have had their bye. The Bears are 1 game away from drafting 16th and 1 game away from drafting 5th. The Bears next 4 games before their bye are: DET 2-6, ATL 4-5, NYJ 6-3, and GB 3-6. All those games are winnable, but I figure they will at least split them to go no worse than 5-8 into the bye with 4 to play. With the way the offense is trending, the Bears will probably win 7-8 games this year. At 7 wins they will draft in the low teens, 8 wins is high teens.
  17. Yeah, he was always a decent player, just sort of a head case.
  18. Robinson is now 25-248-2 after that huge game ? His yards per game and yards per reception are actually down from last year. So funny. I haven't heard Hicks name all season.
  19. 4 out of the last 5 games for Fields have been net positive for QBR. With his game this week (95.4 QBR), he is now at 55.0 for the season. He finished last year at 31.4. He is now 14th, tied with Joe Burrow. Lawrence is the only other 2nd year QB over 50 at 50.9. Fields has totally flipped the narrative and has been unleashed. Since the NE game, Fields has 6 passing TDs to 1 INT and 3 rushing TDs. 9 TD to 1 INT ratio!
  20. Wow, that was impressive. Should've been a win. Refs suck. Even with a slow start, he is on pace for over 1275 yards rushing, and is averaging 102 yards a game in his last 4 (once they started actually running). So if he kept up a pace somewhere in between, he would be over 1300 yards for the year. If he kept up the same pace for the remainder of the year, he would break Lamar Jackson's single season rushing record. That is insane. DET, ATL, NYJ, and GB up next.
  21. What is exciting is this is just the beginning. If Fields looks like this now, he is going to be unstoppable next year. That TD run was Vick-like on a day where he breaks his record. At least the media is finally on Fields side and believe the Bears got robbed by the refs.
  22. Fields breaks Michael Vicks single game rushing record, Kmet gets 2 TDs, and Green Bay loses to the Lions with Rodgers throwing 3 INTs. This loss effectively kills any chance at a playoff berth, as the Bears are just one game back from the worst team in the NFC.
  23. Refs hand the game to the Dolphins, a phantom call on Jackson that swings the field position and then the no call on Claypool. They need to make PI reviewable. Game changing penalties.
