Either way, SF just gave away the farm for, at best, the 3rd best QB in the draft. That is a lot to give up for someone not Lawrence or Wilson.

Hell, some are speculating SF is taking Jones at #3.

SF is clearly drafting a QB.

    Miami traded #3 to SF for #12, 2021 3rd, and SF's First Rounders in 2022 and 2023. Miami then traded #12 and their 2022 first-rounder to Philadelphia for #6 So it ends up almost like a 3-team deal: Miami trades #3 and their 2022 1st for #6, 2021 3rd, 2022 1st (SF), 2023 1st (SF). Philadephia trades #6 for #12 and 2022 1st (MIA) SF trades #12, 3rd Rounder, 2 future 1sts for #3
  5. COVID-19 Opt Out. He should be fresh.
  6. Nice one Stinger! I was thinking Josh Reynolds at WR.
  7. Updated as of 23MAR: GAINS: Dalton, QB (replaces Trubisky) - upgrade Trufant, CB (replaces Fuller) - downgrade Blackson, DL (replaces Urban) - wash Attaochu, OLB (replaces Mingo) - wash Wilkenson, OL (replaces Coward) - wash Jones, LB Willams, RB (replaces Nall) - upgrade LOSSES (with snap counts): Offense (Team High= 1066): Trubisky, QB (570) Massie, OT (470) + ST (26) Coward, OL (333) + ST (73) Harris, TE (215) + ST (169) Patterson, KR (201) + ST (146) Defense (Team High= 1060): Fuller, CB (1060) + ST (87) - Most snaps on defense, ouch! Gipson, S (1054) - 3rd most on defense, ouch! Skrine, CB (557) + ST (81) Mingo, LB (390) + ST (374) Urban, DE (370) + ST (158) Robertson-Harris, DE (245) + ST (80) Jenkins, DT (223) + ST (48) McManis, S (25) + ST (205) I only included players with at least 100 snaps. So the 3 biggest losses are still Fuller, Gipson, and Patterson. So if we can get a CB and Safety, this team should technically be better than 2020. Dalton is an upgrade, Williams as a change of pace back is something we lacked. Now Cohen becomes more explosive and Patterson is not running into the back of the O-Line. Attaochu is at least equal to Mingo and may actually be better on the Edge. Blackson is like a poor man's Hicks and should be able to match Urban's production and snap count. So the more I look at it, if the team can get S, CB, and the WR or OL, I think we will be pretty solid.
  8. Best backup RB in a long time: https://www.nfl.com/news/damien-williams-agrees-to-one-year-deal-with-bears
  9. Safety is the only starting hole that needs to be filled, but I could see CB or WR first. I have an odd feeling we draft Mac Jones in the first, after a small trade up into the teens.
  10. Yep and I actually liked him when the Bears let him walk. Productive rotational player who will help on Special Teams too. If we don't lose Hicks, I like our front 7 with Goldman coming back. ,
  11. Who knows, but if it was one or two women, then it could easily be a money grab but 24 women seems like too many to all be lying.
  12. Lawsuit No. 14 calls Watson a 'serial predator': https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/31120815 Wow if this is even partially true, this guy is done.
  13. Mingo to Atlanta, so this is his replacement for sure.
  14. Nope, no offense, but this is what's wrong with sports today. There are not many industries that put up with behavior like this and still pay these guys millions.
  15. Everyone had the same conditions, Quinn looked slow and weak IMO. Some people plateau at different ages, I think Quinn is there. If your game is speed, that age comes much quicker.
  16. Updated as of 21MAR: GAINS: Dalton, QB (replaces Trubisky) Trufant, CB (replaces Fuller) Blackson, DL (replaces Urban) Attaochu, OLB (replaces Mingo) LOSSES (with snap counts): Offense (Team High= 1066): Trubisky, QB (570) Massie, OT (470) + ST (26) Coward, OL (333) + ST (73) Harris, TE (215) + ST (169) Patterson, KR (201) + ST (146) Spriggs, OL (70) + ST (34) Carter, WR (15) + ST (36) Defense (Team High= 1060): Fuller, CB (1060) + ST (87) - Most snaps on defense, ouch! Gipson, S (1054) - 3rd most on defense, ouch! Skrine, CB (557) + ST (81) Mingo, LB (390) + ST (374) Urban, DE (370) + ST (158) Robertson-Harris, DE (245) + ST (80) Jenkins, DT (223) + ST (48) Houston-Carson, S (91) + ST (372) McCullers, DT (86) + ST (13) McManis, S (25) + ST (205) Still need help at S (-3), DL (-3), OL (-3), CB (-1), KR (-1). 11 spots, so if they can get 3-4 more vet minimum signings, they could fill the rest in the draft and UDFA. So as of right now, the major difference between last year and this year looks like: 2020 - Trubisky, Fuller, Patterson, Gipson, Skrine, Mingo, Urban vs. 2021 - Dalton, Trufant, new KR, new Safety, new Slot CB, Blackson, Attaochu + Cohen and Goldman. Obviously without knowing who the Safety and Slot CB are is important, but if they can get Gipson back or someone comparable to him, the team is very similiar constructed. QB play is going to be key.
  17. Bears sign Attaochu, I'm assuming he replaces Mingo as Edge3.
  18. He was QB3 last year behind Brees and Hill. He had 75 passing yards on 11 passing attempts.
  19. I don't mind PFF for WR, RB, LB, DL and Edge. Outside of those, their analysis is too subjective for me. They don't know the play, the read, etc, so QB ratings are off, same for OL with blocking assignments. I don't like their secondary ratings as they don't know the coverage assignments.
  20. Go into individual player pages and AV should be the last column.
  21. PFR: https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/chi/2020.htm
  22. I agree but it is still a little shocking.
