  1. Our problem is too many teams need a QB. Miami, Cincinnati, Tennessee, Denver, and Tampa will probably draft one early. That leaves us using our pick #42ish on a QB assuming we finish as the 10th worst team. That would be the 5th or 6th QB off the board. Is that even worth a 2nd round pick at that point. The big kick in the nuts is giving the #10 pick to the Raiders for something in the mid to late 40's. Our only hope is if the Raiders tail off at some point and finish worse than us, but I doubt it. We have so many needs but almost have to go QB with a 2nd rounder and then try to trade down and recoup a pick with the Raiders 2nd round pick. O-Line, TE, and CB will be top priorities. Right now they don't have a 1st, 3rd, or 4th, so cutting Davis before is critical right now as they would get a 4th round comp pick for Amos as long as Davis is not on the roster on Saturday (Nov 9th). If they don't, again, Pace should be fired. Davis brings nothing to the team and cutting him will actually open a roster spot for someone like Horsted or Whyte and we get a 4th rounder back. It is too simple that Pace will screw it up.

My buddy was on the waiting list for 10 years (or something close to that), and this is the team he gets to pay for? What a gut punch. I want the team to succeed and I will watch every game, but man is it tough right now. When they were bad previously, you knew it, but this team had the potential to be great and Trubisky and the offense have been so bad it's impossible to overcome. Pace should be fired. He has given this team Glennon, Trubisky, Daniel, Barkley and Hoyer as QBs and Burton, Shaheen, and Sims as starting TEs.
  3. To me the bulk of the blame has to be on Pace. He has drafted like garbage and this team is now in cap hell. There are too many immovable contracts for bad players. Guys like Massie, Leno, and Burton are basically guaranteed a roster spot next year for a lot of money. What we thought was a solid young core looks terrible now. To think this is the list of players Pace drafted in the top 100 picks of the draft: White, Goldman, Grasu, Floyd, Whitehair, Bullard, Trubisky, Shaheen, Smith, Daniels, Miller, and Montgomery. You need starters in those picks, you can miss on one or two, but Pace has missed on at least 6 (White, Grasu, Floyd, Bullard, Trubisky, and Shaheen). That's 50% if you count Smith, Daniels, Miller, and Montgomery, and the jury is still out on them. If you don't count them as it's still too early, that's 2 for 8 (25%). Also consider that the Bears gave away additional picks in the top 100 for Trubisky (67), Miller and Mack (2x 1st rounders and a 3rd rounder) which brings the percentage of picks down to less than 20%. The Bears went all-in with Mack and Trubisky last year and lost, and now are going to be feeling the effects of it for the next 3-5 years.

Couldn't catch a pass to save his life. Then on last kickoff, Philly squibs it short and instead of jumping on the ball, Lurch tries to field it and Philly easily recovers to end the game. Not that Trubisky would've done anything worth a damn (needed a TD with no TOs and 20 secs left).
  5. Can you believe the Bears signed Glennon and drafted Trubisky in the same offseason and then benched Glennon after he had 4 straight games with a TD pass, completed over 63% of his passes and 3 games with over 200 yards passing (1x 300 yard game)? For as bad as we thought Glennon was (which he was), Trubisky is actually worse. Trubisky has 0 TD passes in 6 of his last 8 games (not including MIN game where he left with injury). Trubisky now has as many games with less than 200 yards passing than he has with more than 200 yards passing (16 games each). Glennon, in comparison has 13 games over 200 yards, 9 games under 200. The worst part is TD passes. Trubisky has 36 career TD passes in 980 attempts, Glennon, 36 TD passes in 794 passing attempts. Glennon was also on some crap teams, so for him to have the same many of TD as Trubisky is damning to say the least. So the Bears essentially signed and drafted nearly the same QB, yet actually kept the less productive one. Sickening. Another reason the Bears should really look for a new GM and QB.
  6. Seriously, Rodgers with 35 yards passing with 6 minutes gone in the 3rd quarter against the Chargers and down 12-0. Update, Rodgers with 61 passing yards in 3 quarters, Chargers up 19-3 with the Chargers driving early in the 4th quarter. Crazy to think we could've potentially gained a game on GB, MIN, DET, and SEA this week.

New week, same results. The offense had the worst first half in 40 years!!!! Think about how bad some of our teams have been since the late 70's, this team just played worse in the first half on offense than any of those teams with 9 yards and 0 points. We have fired coaches for less, benched QB's for less, yet the team just keeps marching Trubisky out there like everything is good to go. I really could care less what he did when the Eagles went to prevent defense if it didn't result in a win. The defense was so gassed that they couldn't get off the field to save their lives. How many backdoor screens and release plays did the Eagles successful complete first downs on? Something like 6 or 7. You would think the coaches or players would adjust and stop them after maybe 3 or 4. I can't imagine being a player on this team right now. At this point, you are almost just playing not to get injured. Trubisky does not deserve another start. Send him to IR and let him have shoulder surgery now. I would also cut Shaheen. What an absolute abortion of a set of picks by Pace in the 2017 draft. Now the other few players in that draft don't look that good. Cohen has strictly become a gimmick player and Jackson is playing not to get injured and is a ghost of his former self.
  8. Bears lose, Vikings lose, Packers and Lions both losing at half. Ugh...
  9. The Bears have made a valiant effort not to completely embarrass themselves, but there are no moral victories. They need a comeback win or none of those plays matter.
  10. With the age of the defense, I assume they would look at someone like Bridgewater and then draft a guy later as a developmental guy. They really need to shore up the O-Line and probably need another CB.
  11. This team is absolute garbage. We can't gain a yard on offense, and on defense, we drop 7 and can't stop a simple pass.
  12. Please bench Trubisky now. He can't hit anyone. Took a sack holding onto the ball on 1st, stares down then throws high to Cohen that was almost intercepted on 2nd, then barely got a screen pass out to Montgomery on 3rd down where he didn't even get back to the original LOS. This is embarrassing. We have -1 yards on our first two drives. It would be better to just punt on first down at this point.
  13. He might have negative yards on the year if he was running behind the Bears O-Line.
  14. On our first drive, 3 and out. Run, Run, Pass, pass incomplete (go figure). Trubisky can't hit ARob on easy crossing pattern. So much for preparation.
  15. Would you rather keep RRH or Floyd if you could only keep one? I am keeping RRH over Floyd. Floyd has zero sacks and zero TFL since Week 1. That is some consistency right there. There is no way Floyd should not be dominating on the opposite side of Mack. If you watch only him, he literally gets consumed the minute he is touched by an O-Lineman. I thought he would improve from last year, and he has regressed to a borderline NFL player.
  16. This is the first game in a while that the Bears are not favored, go figure lol. I am surprised it is only by 4 points. Philly is an even more Jekyll and Hyde team than the Bears. In each of Philly's wins, they've scored over 30 points and in their 4 losses, they have allowed 24 or more. Their offense has scored 20 or more in 7 out of 8 games and their defense has allowed 20 or more pts 6 times. The Bears counter with 6 games allowing 17 or less and 3 games scoring 17 or more. The Eagles are coming home after 3 games on the road. They just had a big win in Buffalo after losses to the Vikings and Cowboys. They go into their bye after the Bears game, so I would assume they want to go into that week with some momentum. The Bears are obviously on a 3-game losing streak, the longest losing streak of the Nagy's tenure. If the team falls to 3-5, the season is over. They have to string together at least 5 straight wins to have a chance. We will see what this team is made of. Does the defense start making splash plays again? Can they stop Howard and Sanders? Does the offense finally play a solid game? I doubt it, nothing to this point shows me they will Eagles 27-16 Trubisky less than 200 yards passing, two INTs and a fumble. Pineiro misses a FG.
  17. If you watch a game at the end of 2017 like the Bengals game and then watch the Chargers game from last week, you would think the Bengals game is from this year and the Chargers game is from his rookie year. There is something wrong with him right now, whether it's the injury or Nagy is making him process too many things at once and it's information overload. Nagy needs to strip it down to the basics. Give Mitch two options, not four options, each with a variable that is based on different conditions, pre and post snap. KISS, Keep it simple stupid.
  18. Here is a list of NFL QB's drafted from 2015-2019 and the number of games with 20 or more passing attempts (College/NFL): 2015 Mariota: 39/55=94 Winston: 25/59=84 2016 Prescott: 32/55=87 Goff: 35/50=85 Wentz: 18/48=66 Brissett: 24/23=47 2017 Watson: 30/32=62 Mahomes: 29/25=54 Trubisky: 14/29=43 2018 Mayfield: 44/21=65 Jackson: 34/14=48 Rosen: 29/15=44 Darnold: 24/17=41 Allen: 19/15=34 2019 Jones: 33/6=39 Murray: 15/8=23 Minshew: 24/8=32 Haskins: 15/0=15 Of the 18 QBs listed from 2015-2019, Trubisky has the least amount of games in college with 20 or more passing attempts. Counting college and NFL games, Trubisky is more in line with the 2018 class in terms of in-game experience throwing the football (20+ passes). If Trubisky was in the 2018 draft, he would be 4th behind Rosen and ahead of Darnold. Watching his play this season, he is more in line with the play of Mayfield, Rosen, Darnold, and Allen than Watson and Mahomes. Coincidence or not? Even in the 2019 draft, a guy like Daniel Jones only has 4 fewer games played than Trubisky with 20 or more passing attempts in college and the pros. I am now at the point where I feel like I know what we have at QB. However, are we giving him enough time? I feel like he has had every excuse under the sun to perform and we have yet to see any incremental improvements. I can't tell you anything he is doing better now compared to his rookie year. That scares me. There are books and studies out there about "mastering" skills, like playing an instrument. Outside of otherworldly talents like Mahomes, do guys like Trubisky just need more time? I think so, but I don't think that will be with the Bears. Unless there is significant improvement this year, I can't see how the team brings him back next season. Outside of the 4th quarter in the Eagles playoff game, Trubisky seems like a different QB since his injury last year. There was a clear improvement throughout the season (even documented in the offseason), then we come into this year and he looks like a completely different guy. The team even hid him from the media and league for the preseason. Then he comes out and looks lost for most of the year and the offense looks much better with Daniel under center. Now he gets hurt again and is playing with a brace on his non-throwing shoulder. Another excuse. Only time will tell, but I did find it interesting that he was more in line with the draft class after him in terms of passing experience.

    Blow this Team Up

We hired a GM with no experience who drafted a QB no experience to then hire a HC with no experience. Recipe for disaster.
  20. Connor, from looking at all the contract sites, it looks like they have to cut him before a date in March, and would not incur any dead money. I could be wrong but that is what it looks like. I would absolutely cut him. He is a bust, absolutely useless. Mack is getting doubled and chipped on every play and Floyd cannot beat a single blocker.

    Trubisky Stats

Well, well, well. Guess who is back? Bad Mitch. Right when I was praising him for taking care of the ball, he has 0 TDs, an INT, and a fumble (2 turnovers). Right before his fumble, he missed a wide-open Gabriel on a deep throw. Gabriel was covered by a LB. Talk about a gut punch. I don't know how the team can justify running Mitch out there again. He made one play with his legs, the first of the year, so at this point, without the mobility, how is he better than Daniel?
  22. Trade every player not on a rookie deal outside of ARob. I would put Turdbisky on IR and would even consider firing Nagy. Let Pagano take over and bring Vic back as DC.
  23. He makes it if we don't kneel and lose 3 yards? What the hell was that, give it to Montgomery and you might make it a 35 yarder. This loss is on Nagy and Trubisky. Trubisky needs to be benched. We need to go 7-2 to get 10 wins, lmao, we will be lucky to win 2 more games. What a joke! At least we will have a high second-round pick!
  24. He is not the answer, he is not an NFL QB. I don't care what play is called, what the protection is, he doesn't have a QB brain. Nagy needs to man up and bench him regardless of the outcome of the game. Haven't they seen enough?
  25. Play action, Gabriel wide open, Trubisky over throws him by 5 yards, wow. Then, insult to injury, Trubisky fumbles the ball and the Chargers recover. Seriously, I'm done with the Trubisky experiment, it didn't work. Time to admit defeat and move on. Put him on IR to save face. Start Daniel the rest of the year.
