  2. That's cool about Duck's uncle. He should make the PS.
  3. No way will he be considered, and yeah, this would be devastating news. I just don't think they will be as bad as they were when they got Luck. This team is much better and will probably still win 5-6 games. Winners in this? The rest of the AFC South. Texans and Jags now have an easier path to playoffs.
  4. Think if we traded for Vedvik, and then he goes out and misses two kicks, albeit one from 54. Talk about kicker anxiety. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2019/08/24/kaare-vedviks-two-field-goal-misses-concern-mike-zimmer
  5. 21 years with Manning and Luck at QB and the Colts won 1x Super Bowl (against us no less). Interestingly, Manning won another one with the Broncos while the Colts have nothing to show for the Luck era. 27 years of Favre and Rodgers and the Fudge Packers only won 2. Crazy to think about how many wasted seasons these two franchises had with those QBs. 34 playoff berths between those two teams with those QB's (in 48 seasons) and only 3 Super Bowl wins. 1. Manning 11/14 (rookie year, and 1 year to injury) 2. Rodgers - 8/11 (1 year due to injury) 3. Favre - 11/16 4. Luck - 4/7 (1 year due to injury) Rodgers only needs to be sacked 27 more times to become #1 on the GB Franchise Record Books. I figure he will reach that by mid-season after Week 1
  6. Keepers by position: QB (3): Trubisky, Ryan, Mahomes RB (2): Chubb, Conner WR (8): Hill, Smith-Schuster, Jeffery, Woods, Edelman, Golladay, Ridley, Sutton TE (0): DEF (1): CHI K (1): Zuerlein
  7. Try logging into Leaguesafe first. Then go to the following link in another tab: https://www.leaguesafe.com/league/3907935 If that doesn't work, close browser, reopen, log into leaguesafe first, then go to the join link: https://www.leaguesafe.com/join/3907935 and see if that works. Otherwise, try a different browser.
  8. This is what I am tracking so far: 1. Pepe - Jeffery (7th-61), Edelman (8th-80 or 9th-81*) 2. El Dragon - Ryan (8th-79) 3. Run dem Pockets - 4. The Bunny - Golladay (11th-104), Chubb (12th-117) 5. The Mad Lithuanians - CHI (10th-96), Zuerlein (14th-136) 6. Nopper - Woods (7th-66), Ridley (12th-126) 7. PapaBear - 8. Cali Bears - Smith-Schuster (2nd-13), Trubisky (8th-73) 9. Domination Inc - Hill (2nd-12), Sutton (14th-132) 10. SUPERBEARSSUPERBOWL! - Mahomes (10th-91), Conner (13th-130) * - waiting on Commish decision Draft choices used on keepers (by round): 1. 2. 12 (Hill), 13 (Smith-Schuster) 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 61 (Jeffery), 66 (Woods) 8. 73 (Trubisky), 79 (Ryan), 80 (Edelman*) 9. 81 (Edelman*) 10. 91 (Mahomes), 96 (CHI) 11. 104 (Golladay) 12. 117 (Chubb), 126 (Ridley) 13. 130 (Conner) 14. 132 (Sutton), 136 (Zuerlein) 15. 16.
  9. I will leave that up to the commish. I guess at the end of the day, losing 2 rounds with the first pick, and 1 with the second is worse than losing 1 round with the first pick and 2 rounds with the second. In your case, that difference (between the 8th or 9th round) will only be one pick (from 81 to 80) and since you have both of those picks, it literally has no impact to the draft other than potentially for a keeper next year. So for the round ties (keeping two from consecutive rounds resulting in the same round), we could just swap the rounds to where the first pick loses 2 and the second loses 1. This was the exception we talked about on the league message board.
  10. Eddy sure looked good against the Colts, 3-3 on XP's and was 2-2 on FG's and nailed a 58-yarder (beating Lloyd by 3 yards ). All we need is a guy that can reliably make reasonable distance kicks and every now and then nail some longer ones. Hopefully, he has another strong showing next week. His confidence has to be at an all-time high after that 58-yarder.
  11. Andrew Luck just announced he is retiring per Schefter.
  12. Just some quick notes as the plays happen: - Kwiatkoski has looked much better, had a sack and some nice tackles in first half. - Deon Bush with a 91-yard pick-6. - Ryan Nall looks like a wrecking ball. Had a huge 69-yard run in first half. - Chase Daniel still looks like garbage. - Eddy Pineiro just kicked a 58-yarder straight down the middle. Would've been good from 60.
  13. I will be keeping Tyreek Hill (3rd) for my 2nd, and Courtland Sutton (16th) for my 14th. With a few of the top RB's and Mahomes off the board, that really slides some 2nd rounders up and I don't want to miss out on a top guy with my 3rd pick not until pick #29, so I am taking a huge chance on Hill reproducing his WR2 status from last year (2nd to Jones). Keepers: T. Hill (KC) and C. Sutton (DEN) Picks: 2nd (Pick #12) and 14th (Pick #132)
  14. Nope, you lose your 11th and 12th. You drafted Golladay in the 12th (lose a 11th), and Chubb in the 14th (lose a 12th).
  15. No worries man, I know everyone is busy, so I just try to help out where I can.
  16. Updated draft windows: Friday August 30th - currently open (6pm - 11pm CT) Saturday August 31st - MadLith is unavailable after 7pm, currently open (10am - 6pm CT) Sunday September 1st - killakrzydav is unavailable from 3-7pm, currently open (10am - 2pm and 8-11pm CT), best day for TD. Monday September 2nd - Stinger is unavailable at 8pm CT (6pm-7pm; 10pm-11pm) Tuesday September 3rd - Stinger is unavailable at 6pm CT (8pm-11pm) Wednesday September 4th - MadLith is unavailable (unavailable)
  17. It is Pineiro's job to lose now. Either he kicks well or we are waiver wire hunting before the regular season. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001042496/article/bears-waive-elliott-fry-kicking-battle-remains-open
  18. RIP Cedric, crazy to hear the news after what I experienced last night. I came upon a motorcycle accident on an interstate off-ramp, 3rd car on scene, immobilized the guy's head/neck until paramedics arrived. He was not in good shape. Then I hear the news about Cedric this morning....
  19. Here are the current draft windows following the last preseason games on Thursday: Friday August 30th - currently open (6pm - 11pm CT) Saturday August 31st - currently open (10am - 11pm CT) Sunday September 1st - currently open (10am - 11pm CT) Monday September 2nd - Stinger is unavailable at 8pm CT (6pm-7pm; 10pm-11pm) Tuesday September 3rd - Stinger is unavailable at 6pm CT (8pm-11pm) Wednesday September 4th - MadLith is unavailable (unavailable) I would prefer to have keepers locked in at least the day before the draft, if possible.
  20. The dates haven't been set yet, but they both obviously need to occur by 04SEP.
  21. He runs with such determination, and never goes down on first contact. He is a huge upgrade over Howard. Teams are going to have to respect the run, so I can imagine a lot of RPO and Play Action this year.
  22. A quick 3 and out and a punt with Bray (who looked like a hot mess). On the punt, CAR gets a huge return and Montgomery makes the stop to prevent a TD. On a short field, CAR scores easily and take the lead.
  23. The Bears get into FG range but Pineiro misses wide left on 47-yarder. The Bears defense come up big again with RRH getting a big sack. Daniel leads a late 2nd quarter hurry up drive and connects with Bunting for a huge gain with a few seconds left. That leaves a 43-yarder and Fry nails it to end the half. Bears up 10-6 at half.
  24. Nick Williams getting a lot of pressures, then Deon Bush makes an easy INT. Great series for the defense.
