  1. Bears win with Texans and Bucs losses slide us to 8th. SoS still kills us as we lose SOS tiebreaker to every team with the hardest schedule in the NFL. I believe the only team that can surpass us is by the end of the year are the Redskins. 1. Browns 0-12 (Doesn't matter) .521 SOS 2. Giants 2-10 (PHI/ARZ/WAS) .503 SOS 3. 49ers 3-10 (TEN/JAX/LAR) .485 SOS 4. Colts 3-10 (DEN/BAL/HOU) .515 SOS 5. Texans 4-9 (JAX/PIT/IND) .494 SOS 6. Broncos 4-9 (IND/WAS/KC) .509 SOS 7. Bucs 4-9 (ATL/CAR/NO) .533 SOS 8. Bears 4-9 (DET/CLE/MIN) .580 SOS ------------------------------- 9. Bengals 5-8 (MIN/DET/BAL) .444 SOS 10. Jets 5-8 (NO/LAC/NE) .488 SOS 11. Redskins 5-8 (ARZ/DEN/NYG) .574 SOS 12. Dolphins 5-7 (NE/BUF/KC/BUF) .529 SOS *Updated 12/10/BUF) .542 SOS *Updated 12/10 I hate to say this, but I think we end up picking 10th or 11th instead of 5th or 6th. I don't know if the Bengals or Jets will win another game, and I believe we will at least win one and maybe two.
  2. Yeah, it was nice to see, but where has this been all year. Everyone has been calling for this type of playcalling and we wait until Week 14 to put it on the display? Trubisky has completed 79% of his passes the last two games with 7.9 yds per attempt, which is elite. Howard and Cohen returned to their normal production and Shaheen and Wright both had big days. 1-9 in the NFC, 3-0 against the AFC. Go figure.
  3. Of course, defense gets off field, offense looks good and scores a quick TD, then Nugent misses an XP. #Bearsin2017
  4. We definitely need to bring in a vet, but I don't think Sims' 11 receptions and 115 yards are going to be hard to replace. He has 2 receptions and 2 yards since November 1st and his blocking has been suspect. Some Free Agent names: Virgil Green, Tyler Eifert, Ed Dickson, Niles Paul, Austin Seferian-Jenkins, Darren Fells
  5. Yeah, no way on Sims. He completely underperformed, his money can be spent elsewhere, and Shaheen needs the PT.
  6. I would also look at one of the Jags receivers Allen Robinson or Marqise Lee. I doubt the Jags keep both.
  7. So the Giants can fire their GM and Coach, but we still have our abortions? Someone needs to grow a pair and make a statement.

    Mike Nugent

This is all on Pace, no reason to let Gould go, and then in the same week where he kicks 5 FG's and singlehandedly beats us, our newly signed kicker can't even get on the field. Pitiful.
  9. Yeah, that does suck. You can't lose guys your team drafts for nothing.
  10. 1. Browns 0-11 2. 49ers 2-10 (HOU/TEN/JAX/LAR) 3. Giants 2-10 (DAL/PHI/ARZ/WAS) 4. Colts 3-9 (BUF/DEN/BAL/HOU) 5. Broncos 3-9 (NYJ/IND/WAS/KC) 6. Bears 3-9 (CIN/DET/CLE/MIN) --------------------------- 7. Texans 4-8 (SF/JAX/PIT/IND) 8. Bucs 4-8 (DET/ATL/CAR/NO) *Updated 12/3
  11. Hilarious, this team is an absolute joke. Pace, Fox, Loggains, Fangio all need to go. This entire organization is a joke.
  12. Yeah, Fangio overrated, had some All-Pro caliber players in SF that made him look good. Can't do anything without them. Can't get off the field on 3rd down, no pressure, and zero adjustments. Soft zone is an understatement.
  13. Crazy return by Cohen, had literally 9 guys running at him, reverses field and scores easily from 60+ yards out. Unbelievable that we didn't get a holding call or something stupid on the play. Reminded me of Tecmo Bowl where you get all the players running one way then change directions.
  14. Bears can't have Houston covering TE's, too many receivers wide open. Fuller again on point with a hard hit and 3rd down stop. Gould makes 2nd FG, Bears lead 7-6.
  15. Trubisky to Inman for the TD. We need to pass to free up the run, not the other way around. It is amazing how much better our offense looks when we don't go run-run-pass.
  16. That just doesn't sound right, lol.
  17. Fuller with back to back impact plays, a huge TFL against Hyde, then rips an INT out of WR's hands. I would love for his play to be more consistent (and like this).
  18. We start out run-run-pass (sack). Seriously, we are terrible. Trubisky has to feel that internal clock and move.
  19. Why did we not accept one of the two penalties and push them? Were we concerned they would score a TD there?
  20. O'Donnell with the kickoff duties? Kicks a touchback.
  21. This has to be a joke right? They beat the Giants in Week 16 last year and beat Dallas 37-9, scored 30 straight points, and lost their kicker two weeks ago. Was Wentz worse last year, absolutely, but that is the exact reason why Reich would be a good selection. He made an inexperienced young QB with a ton of upside into an MVP candidate.
  22. Frank Reich, offensive coordinator, Philadelphia Eagles. Former QB and coordinator of one of the best offenses in the NFL. We just saw first hand how good and efficient they were. Wentz went from a D-3 program to a Pro Bowler in just over a year.

    Drafting QBs

If you are in the 3rd and a QB is BPA well above any other player, you take him. If a QB slips, but is never BPA, I think you have to pass.
