Fox has lost this team, completely unacceptable performance in prime time. Penalties + Performance + Preparation = coaching Players can't overcome being out of position, bad schemes, and bad coaching.

Another freaking INT from Glennon who threw another bad ball right to a defender, wtf. 0 INTs for Packers coming in, and now they have 2. Glennon with 4 freaking turnovers!!!!! What the hell is the point?

This team is worthless, with zero coaching. No way that should happen. We had stopped them on 3rd and long and Trevathan literally kills Adams. Completely unnecessary. The Bears should bench him for the rest of the game. Then an easy TD for Rodgers since we can't handle crossing routes and picks.

How do you kick so straight outside of the goal posts? It was a miss from the second he kicked it, never had a chance. Glennon cannot string together more than a few good throws.

Glennon leads Bears on a 72 yard TD drive in less than 2 minutes. GB came with a lot of pressure leaving some 1 on 1 matchups. Miller with the big catch and run. Wright with the TD on a nice corner route. Glennon with a nice toss for once. Where has that been all year?

So the Bears force another 3 and out, Rodgers throws it away, should've been intentional grounding, but they pick up the flag. No WR within 15 yards, another BS no-call on officials.

What else do we need to see? Glennon throws another shitty ball right to the Packers, and 2 plays later, it is 21-0. I seriously hate Glennon and he is the worst QB the Bears have ever had. I am so done with his stupid ass. Fox needs to be fired, this is beyond embarrassing.

Floyd finally makes an appearance with a huge sack on 3rd down. Outside of the 2x TDs due to the offensive turnovers, the defense has looked pretty good.

After the long weather delay, the Bears drive into GB territory only to go backwards with penalties. Glennon has no ability to gain back the yards. On a long deep pass he literally throws into triple coverage to Bellamy (who almost caught it) instead of Wright who was open.

He couldn't even complete a check down. The offense is literally going backwards.

I have never seen such a bad QB. He just kicked the ball off his knee for his 2nd turnover in 6 plays, 6 plays!!!!!!!

I read on Twitter that GB uses Dime personnel 90% of the time.( ) They are also 30th in the league against the short pass, have 0 INTs and only 7 PD's. So this would actually be a decent game to bring in Trubisky.

Possession changed to the Bears, you can't advance a fumble, and you can't bat the ball in any direction in the end zone (illegal bat). The penalty is a 10-yard penalty, so we got half the distance to the goal line. So they ended up getting it correct.

Will Trubisky get the surprise start? Can we afford another poor performance from Glennon? We are only a game back in the division and have yet to play a single division game. GB is beatable with a horrible O-Line and one dimensional offense. Without Rodgers they would be 0-3.

Jason, Great input, and that all makes sense. I just don't think anyone is in a better position to see a foot on grass at 17 yards vs 4 feet. I understand the concept of vision at distance and something crossing you is harder to see, but we are talking about seeing a moving foot, in grass, regardless of the angle at two very distinct distances. I just don't see how a guy 51 feet away can even see Cohen's foot when it is in grass from that distance, less determine the exact location of it at the exact time he stepped near the 37 while he running as well. It had to be a blur. From the replay, the DJ was running at a good speed while the SJ was already in position almost exactly at the point where Cohen's foot was considered out. He was moving nowhere near as fast as the DJ and had a perfect view of Cohen's feet along the sideline. I completely agree with you that, on most occasions, with this sort of play, the DJ is in the best position to make the call if he maintains an optimal distance from the play. However, I think that he was a little too far to make such an important call when it was not necessary. My problem with an out of bounds calls is once he calls it dead, the play ends. So the call will always benefit the defense. Maybe the rule needs to change. I feel like unless it is clear that he is out, that you let the play complete, then review. That was way too close, to call him out, and he clearly got it wrong. There are a few new angles out and every one of them shoes Cohen's foot in.

Here is the best angle of how close the SJ was to Cohen's foot at the 37: Here is the pic of the DJ blowing the whistle and waving his arms, this is why it was brought back: See the shadow 17 yards away, that is the DJ: Again look at the foot, there is clearly a space between Cohen's foot and the white. How do you see this from 17 yards away from a slight angle (the DJ is not running perfectly down the line). Also, the DJ didn't make that call immediately after he thought he stepped out. He did not start waving his arms until Cohen had made his cutback and went to the middle of the field.

Jason, How is the DJ in a better position to make that call 17+ yards away? The SJ is literally 4 feet from Cohen's foot at the 37. Try to look at someone's cleat/shoe in grass 17 yards (51 feet) away, there is no way you can clearly see if the heel or toe are in when the foot is that close. Now compare that to 4 feet away looking directly down at the foot. Also, considering how fast Cohen was running, there is no way you can make that call. I have watched this over and over and I notice the DJ putting his whistle in his mouth and preparing to call something when Cohen was on the Bears' side of the 50 (maybe the holding) and then is later the one who blew the play dead. Per the NFL's officiating page, both the DJ and SJ "determine if runner goes out of bounds". I say bad call, let the replay booth determine that play. No way was that official in a position to make that call from that distance.

Seems like we have injuries in every unit and the game is no longer about skill but about attrition. Amos back to the starting lineup.

Yeah, and that was a turnover. I can't believe they reviewed and determined he fumbled before his knee was down as it looked like both were down before the defender stripped him.

Try this one: I thought the Thompson holding was worse than Bellamy's as he was at least between the defender and the ball carrier, and the defender fell. Thompson was locked up and had a handful of jersey and Howard actually ran behind the defender compared to Cohen's run on the outside of the Bellamy block. Bellamy's gets called about 50% of the time and Thompson's about 90%. Both should've been called, but I can say Bellamy's is harder to see in full speed.

Floyd is a bust, he gets completely manhandled at the LOS. All he has is speed which is easily negated with a few steps from the OT. Once he engages with the OL, he is done.

and you can see the improvement week to week. Trubisky is missing out. We have a great running game and an improved defense. This is the ideal place for him to get experience. We are not expected to be good, so there won't be a lot of pressure on him to win immediately.

Why not this week though? How does GB prepare? Make the announcement on Wednesday. They will prepare for Dink and Dunk Statue Glennon and will not be ready for Trubisky's mobility.

Howard and Cohen 1-2 punched us to victory. Epic win. Cooper redeemed himself in the 2nd half, 8 targets against, and only 1 completion. Now he needs some INTs to completely redeem himself. After the Cohen run in OT, I was screaming like a little school girl, to then see it get called back, I was soo pissed. I can't see how that side judge would rule that out. Just let the play complete itself, then let the booth review. By stopping it, you can't undo that if you are wrong. So luckily Howard said screw it and literally carried us to victory on one shoulder. I was worried about a holding call on Thompson near the goal line, so I am glad there was a no call, and likely a repayment for the Cohen blunder call. I also think the Howard fumble earlier was bogus, two knees down before the ball is stripped out. Should not have been a fumble. Defensive front 4 got very little pressure early, but both McPhee and Young had timely 3rd down, drive ending sacks in the 2nd half. Amukamara, Cooper, and Fuller all had 2 passes defended apiece. Something we have not seen in quite some time. Huge win, and crazy to think we could be 2-1 right now with wins against ATL and PIT if we could've pulled out the win in Week 1 with 4 chances inside the 10.
