  1. A great day in franchise history and Monday could be the turning point for the organization. We couldn't get Minnesota at a better time, #2 QB and #2 RB with Bradford and Cook out. Also, Minnesota is 24th in Passing Defense, so they are susceptible to the pass. I would call up Gentry as well so we can stretch the field. If even he just runs post and fly patterns, they will need to keep a Safety over the top. This should loosen up the seams for the TEs.
  2. Yep, it's time to start Trubisky, especially with Cook likely out due to injury. It would be Keenum with a 2nd string RB.
  3. Watson against TEN so far: 25-33, 75.8%, 283 yds, 4 TD, 1 INT, 127.9 Rating, 1 Rushing TD. So 5 TD's for the rookie. This is why Trubisky needs to start.
  4. Cutler had Jeffery, Marshall, Bennett, and Forte. So there was no excuse for his errors. He just had bad habits that he could not correct (throwing off back foot, etc). He always thought his arm could save him, and that got him into trouble. Otherwise, we knew what we had, he was a known commodity. Jay Cutler's first quarter against NO > 6-8, for 70 yds and an INT. Makes 2-3 great throws, then an INT. For Glennon, regardless of the WR's, he is brutal. Kendall Wright and Markus Wheaton have both produced elsewhere, and we have one of the deepest TE Corps (Miller, Sims, Shaheen, Brown) and Cohen out of the backfield. Regardless of the personnel, Glennon has been terrible. He can't read defenses, doesn't audible out of plays when the defense dictates, is totally immobile (causing sacks), and has not been accurate with his passes. Every INT has been on him, no tips, or receiver falling down, or something along those lines. All just bad throws. Also, from what it looks like Glennon's progression goes in to out, not out to in. Loggains is not very good either. If you look at the all-22 view, he has a lot of routes that are crowded, so the defense can basically cover the over and under of 2 receivers with 3 defenders.
  5. For the fact that the whistle didn't blow, I don't even know if it warrants a suspension at all. He didn't hit a defenseless player, he wasn't up in the air, and he was the ball carrier. Any time before the last 10 years, and that is a great hit.
  6. Yeah, but the national and local media, and a bunch of fans are calling it dirty. I don't agree. I don't know if it was necessary, but it didn't look like he was trying to spear him in the head.

    I’m done

There is not much more to say about Glennon. He is just a bad QB in a bad situation. This is not his team or offense. There is no way players in the locker room don't see it either.
  8. After that TNF debacle, there is no way you can start Glennon anymore. What is the point, we are 1-3 and Glennon has regressed every game. Down 21 with 4 minutes left, we run the clock out? That shows a lot of confidence in his ability. I am sure no one has confidence in him, which rubs off on the entire team. They need a spark, and Trubisky is it. Just think if they ran a hurry-up, scored in less than a minute, and got an onside kick with over 2 minutes left? They would have had a shot at the win with their timeouts. Instead, they run the clock out. Straight up embarrassing. Just think if an opposing defense has to think about a QB that can actually leave the pocket, or make plays with his legs? They have been able to stack the box and do not have to leave a spy in. They won't be able to do that with Trubisky, so there will magically be more space to make passes. If you are wondering why Glennon is always throwing into what seems like triple coverage is because they are able to free up a defender on every play knowing Glennon won't run. Safeties can stack the box, or play over the top. LB's can drop back deeper knowing Glennon won't run.
  9. Man that was a crazy hit. I am sure he will get 2-4 games for that one, due to the head to head contact. I know everyone is calling this dirty, but I don't know if it was intended to be. I am sure Trevathan was frustrated and wanted to make a hard hit, but I don't think he wanted to hit head on head. I watched it a few times and when Trevathan is closing in, his helmet is chest high on Adams, and within a few feet, Adams concedes the tackle and starts to drop straight down. When Trevathan meets him, it is head on head. The only way to avoid something like this is if the refs blow the play dead, which they didn't. Look at the below video at the 0:04 to 0:05 mark, 1:30 to 1:32, and 1:38 to 1:40.
  10. To answer Lucky, not much. Fuller still continues to play a decent, if not above average game. I saw Amos make a few plays in the box.
  11. Romo brought up a good point at the end of the game. He said that he thought Glennon was a decent QB (debatable), but also said he didn't think he was a right fit for the offense. To me it is 3-fold. First, Glennon is a below-average QB with a very limited skill set, and secondly, he is not mobile enough to move around in the pocket or make plays outside of it. Lastly, he doesn't know the offense well enough and can't read defenses. You then add that to the worst WR Corps in the league and you have a disaster on your hands. He seems to fumble every time he is sacked, and is oblivious to pressure. His INT's are just bad passes, and you can tell they are hurried like he is playing scared. To me, I don't think he has a good grasp of the offense, which is reinforced by Fox reiterating that Glennon has "only played X amount of games in this offense".
  12. I agree to an extent. You need good coaching and good players. I don't know if we have that right now. The defense has had to defend against 4 turnovers. That is a lot of extra time on the field.
  13. Fox has lost this team, completely unacceptable performance in prime time. Penalties + Performance + Preparation = coaching Players can't overcome being out of position, bad schemes, and bad coaching.
  14. Another freaking INT from Glennon who threw another bad ball right to a defender, wtf. 0 INTs for Packers coming in, and now they have 2. Glennon with 4 freaking turnovers!!!!! What the hell is the point?
  15. This team is worthless, with zero coaching. No way that should happen. We had stopped them on 3rd and long and Trevathan literally kills Adams. Completely unnecessary. The Bears should bench him for the rest of the game. Then an easy TD for Rodgers since we can't handle crossing routes and picks.
  16. How do you kick so straight outside of the goal posts? It was a miss from the second he kicked it, never had a chance. Glennon cannot string together more than a few good throws.
  17. Glennon leads Bears on a 72 yard TD drive in less than 2 minutes. GB came with a lot of pressure leaving some 1 on 1 matchups. Miller with the big catch and run. Wright with the TD on a nice corner route. Glennon with a nice toss for once. Where has that been all year?
  18. So the Bears force another 3 and out, Rodgers throws it away, should've been intentional grounding, but they pick up the flag. No WR within 15 yards, another BS no-call on officials.
  19. What else do we need to see? Glennon throws another shitty ball right to the Packers, and 2 plays later, it is 21-0. I seriously hate Glennon and he is the worst QB the Bears have ever had. I am so done with his stupid ass. Fox needs to be fired, this is beyond embarrassing.
  20. Floyd finally makes an appearance with a huge sack on 3rd down. Outside of the 2x TDs due to the offensive turnovers, the defense has looked pretty good.
  21. After the long weather delay, the Bears drive into GB territory only to go backwards with penalties. Glennon has no ability to gain back the yards. On a long deep pass he literally throws into triple coverage to Bellamy (who almost caught it) instead of Wright who was open.
  22. He couldn't even complete a check down. The offense is literally going backwards.
  23. I have never seen such a bad QB. He just kicked the ball off his knee for his 2nd turnover in 6 plays, 6 plays!!!!!!!
  24. Cobb with a clear pick and no call. That was complete BS. Can't win when you are playing against the officials too.
  25. I read on Twitter that GB uses Dime personnel 90% of the time.( ) They are also 30th in the league against the short pass, have 0 INTs and only 7 PD's. So this would actually be a decent game to bring in Trubisky.
