Not for 1st round, our SoS is too high. We could tie them and draft 2nd every other round starting in the 2nd though.
-
1. Browns 1-14 (.564) - @ PIT 9-5 2. 49ers 2-13 (.513) - vs SEA 9-5-1 3. Jaguars 3-12 (.546) - @ IND 7-8 4. Bears 3-12 (.520) - @ MIN 7-8 5. Jets 4-11 (.492) - vs BUF 7-8 6. Titans ~ Rams 4-11 (.538) vs ARZ 6-8-1 The best scenario for us is obviously a loss, a SF, JAX and NYJ win. The NYJ win would also help our 4th rounder from BUF. If we can tie SF, we would at least swap with them for subsequent rounds. A Jags loss locks us into at worst the 3rd pick in every round. A win and we shouldn't fall below 5th because the Rams SoS is a lot higher than ours and the Week 17 opponents have similar records (and if we win we actually make MIN's record worse, thus lowering our SoS). So I still believe we are locked into 3rd to 5th with a potential best to tie SF (unlikely due to SEA) and rotate with them every round for the 2nd pick.

Could be our #1, Alshon is not signed and White may never live up to be anything. Either way, Meredith is definitely a keeper and could become a solid #2 for this team.

Jacksonville just pulled away, we now pick 3rd!

Looks like the Championship will be settled today with the 6th seed, Victorious Secret holding a considerable lead over the 1st seed, The Mad Lithuanians, but will ultimately come down to the later games. In the Consolation bracket, all games are projected to be within 5 pts of each other; still competitive in the final week. Thanks for the great year, I was decimated with injuries losing my top 2 picks (AP, Allen) and Woodhead for most of the season, but tried to hang in there with the big boys.

5th INT...... Seriously, this is sickening now. Just put someone else back there and hand off to RBs.
-
He still has to make the throws when they count. He has thrown some bad balls and had some terrible reads.
-
Barkley with his 4th INT, regardless of receivers and protection, he generally looks terrible. Way more bad than good. Some ugly throws, it doesn't look like he has the arm strength to make certain throws. I am now thinking Hoyer or Shaw and saying no to Barkley. I've seen enough, Redskins are not that good. He now has 11 INTs, every 17 attempts or so. Not good.

Is it the scheme? Is the 3-4 going to work with our personnel? I think we need a lockdown CB regardless. Jackson has been wide open most of the game.

Just get Howard his 100+ yards and give him a shot at Bears rookie record.

Draft Update: 1. Browns 0-14 (.564) - winning by 3 but with their luck they will lose 2. 49ers 1-13 (.513) - a winnable game against LA, but we can't pass them, so who cares 3. Jaguars 2-12 (.546) - win baby win, up 15 against Titans 4. Bears 3-11 (.520) 5. Jets 4-10 (.492) - getting demolished, Marshall has rubbed off on the Jets 6. Titans via trade with Rams 4-10 (.538) - Rams against SF, a Rams win helps us more Based on SoS, it looks like we can do no worse than 5th and no better than 3rd.

His interception into triple coverage leaves a lot to be desired. Very Cutler-esque.
-
Defense looks bad, offense ok. The best news from today is Jacksonville is winning by 15.
-
I was thinking maybe O'Donnell, but he was 14th in the NFC in Punt Average, my bad.

I agree that we definitely need a new support staff, as we have had medical issues with numerous players for years. White's injury and now Fuller's seems like the staff has no clue. We obviously need better conditioning as well

Medical or Strength and Conditioning Coaches?

Sure, they might be, but the entire story is perplexing. These are his most recent comments: This was a "clean-up" procedure done in August. Some guys come back from this in a few weeks. Here is the original story from August: If you read that, it says the team was optimistic that the recovery "won't drag out", and a month later he goes on IR? So it seems like they were already concerned about an extended recovery. From September: So since the original surgery, he has been recovering from a scope for 4 months. So either the surgery didn't work, or he is milking it.

Totally missed Pryor when I was sorting (under 28, etc). I added him back in.
-
I would say Hicks and Howard are the 2 most worthy.

Here are some free agent options going into next season. Some of these guys will obviously sign with their current team or be tagged, but there are a few intriguing options out there without having to break the bank: OT Matt Kalil, MIN, 27 Riley Reiff, DET, 28 WR Kenny Britt, LA, 28, 987 yds, 5 TD Terrelle Pryor, CLE, 27, 877 yds, 4 TD Kenny Stills, MIA, 24, 650 yds, 7 TD Robert Woods, BUF, 24, 527 yds, 1 TD Kamar Aiken, BAL, 27 TE Jack Doyle, IND, 26, 649 yds, 5 TD Ryan Griffin, HOU, 26, 432 yds, 2 TD DE/DT Jabaal Sheard, NE, 27, 5 sacks Andre Branch, MIA, 27, 6 sacks Mario Addison, CAR, 29, 8 sacks Devin Taylor, DET, 27, 5 sacks Nick Fairley, NO, 28, 6 sacks CB Stephon Gilmore, BUF, 26, 5 INT, 44 TKL Marcus Cooper, ARZ, 26, 4 INT, 66 TKL Logan Ryan, NE, 25, 81 TKL, 1 INT, 1 sack SS John Cyprien, JAX, 26, 115 TKL Tony Jefferson, ARZ, 24, 96 TKL, 2 sacks

After seeing what LeBlanc and Callahan have done as lower level prospects, Fuller has been another huge bust. Just cut him and be done with it.
-
Definitely gives us more options. If QBs fly off the board, you have to take him if available.
-
I said QB and LT. I would say QB because of how important they are to the entire team, no one position is more important, and right now our prospects are Cutler, Hoyer, and Barkley. Cutler has already shown he will never be a winner, Hoyer put up good numbers in a game manager role and Barkley is still pretty raw with only some upside. LT is huge for any team and we have had a void there for a long time. Regardless of the QB, the LT will make them better. I would say CB is 3rd because there are ways to hide weaknesses there and we still have Porter, Fuller, LeBlanc and Callahan, though a complete shutdown CB would be huge for this defense. However, based on their recent play, I would almost say Safety is a close 3B and depending on how you look at it in regards to importance, may be more needed than CB. The Jordy Nelson catch showed how weak we are there...total blown coverage/assignment on a play where you couldn't get beat deep. Also, I didn't see this as "draft needs" as we can get some guys via Free Agency.

18th player on IR this season, crazy.
-
After Kevin White, I don't see Pace going with guys with injury concerns early in the draft.
