  1. So after 2 games, we can pretty much validate: 1. Cutler will never win anything, another phantom injury after multiple bad turnovers. It is time to move on. I would rather lose with Hoyer than lose with Cutler. 2. Langford is no Forte. Even though Forte has slowed he still looks better than Langford. Howard even looked better. 3. Miller is no Bennett. He gets touched and goes down. 4. White is no Marshall. Still waiting for him to do something. 5. Gould looks pretty good now. Barth's onside kick was pitiful and that was after a missed 31yd FG. 6. Dowell Loggains is a freaking joke, just fire him now. 7. I am starting to think Fox and Fangio are both over the hill. How can you be fairly competitive in the first half and look that bad after halftime? Adjustments anyone? 8. Freeman and Royal seem like the only players that give a crap. 9. If we can't beat Osweiler or Wentz, it is hard for me to see us winning more than 3 or 4 games. 10. At this point we are clearly not a playoff team and I doubt we finish 10-4, so I would look for trading partners now and move some dead weight.

    Matt Forte

He had 3 Red Zone TD's tonight and had 30 carries. 30 carries is a career high (his career best was 27 and he only had more than 25 twice). The interesting note is that he only averaged 3.3 yards per carry and that was against some very soft front 7's due to NY's passing game (3-4 WR sets). So for the season he is now averaging 3.76 yards per carry and is on pace for 416 carries, which would be 100 more than his career high (as a rookie) and only 2nd time he broke 300. I would be amazed if he made it to that mark either due to low YPC or due to wear and tear but it will be interesting to see. Watching the game tonight, Forte had several large gains with gaping holes where he wasn't touched until 5-6 yards past the LOS. He also flashed some of his patented moves as well, but his raw numbers would be much worse with a weak O-Line. Langford has flashed, and hopefully he can become more consistent and the line can give him a little bit of space.
  3. He juggled the ball and slid out of bounds, but in HOU, its a catch.
  4. Seriously? Osweiler loses yards and they give him a yard on the spot for a first? Cutler gains a yard and loses a yard on the spot? Complete BS!
  5. How is that not pass interference? Alshon mugged now and no call, then drops an easy first down, ugh.
  6. Huge play for Hicks to strip Miller, doesn't result in turnover, but we get the ball back after a punt.
  7. He can't when he is getting mugged. DB all over him twice on the 3rd down play well past 10 yards and no call.
  8. Damn we needed that, only a FG, so lead intact. I can't see Cutler trusting White much the rest of this game.
  9. Need to hold them to a FG here.
  10. Jay Freaking Cutler says screw you Houston, an epic throw to Royal and Royal makes a huge catch for a TD.
  11. Phantom call on Miller, refs continue to be garbage. So Cutler says screw it and launches a bomb to Jeffery who hauls it in.
  12. and finally a sack for our defense
  13. Refs are garbage, Cutler gets speared with a helmet to the chest and no call.
  14. Yeah that is the difference right now, we have no pass rush and big holes for Miller to run thru.
  15. Defense shows back up after 1st and goal and forces a FG, Bears lead 7-3.
  16. Defense needs to clear up gap control, Miller getting hit 4 to 5 yards past the LOS.
  17. Yeah both were bad spots, Cutler clearly fell forward of the LOS.
  18. Damn, on 4th and a half yard, Cutler fumbles exchange and Bears turnover on downs. First real mistake on offense and it beats a missed FG.
  19. Defense looked great on 2nd drive, Freeman snuffed out a RB screen and after a few penalties, Texans play it safe and run on 2nd and 3rd, then punt. Royal back for punt return and takes it 31 yards, wow.
  20. After a long PI on Jeffery, Langford plows in after 2 runs for a TD. 75 yard drive against this defense is huge. Barth hits the XP, and Bears lead 7-0 early. Also, Whitehair looks solid at center, making calls at the line and no exchange issues so far.
  21. Huge play from Cutler to Jeffery for 30. One other thing to note, Massie is containing Watt and literally pushed him 5 yards off the spot on a run.
