I would be good with DL, OL, or DB (CB or S).

How many LB's are we going to carry?
-
I didn't mind the pick, but losing a 4th to move up essentially past one team is a head scratcher. That means Floyd was rated that much higher than anyone else on their board which is surprising.
-
Can someone tell me how Floyd is any different than McClellin (when McClellin was going out of the draft)? Floyd is taller and lighter, ran similar 40's. Floyd's NFL comparison is Eli Harold?

For Tunsil, a video surfaced of him smoking pot thru a gas mask.
-
Paxton Lynch drawing some attention, possibly sneaking into the top 10? That would be awesome for us if 3x QB's go in the top 10.
-
Is Nkemdiche any different than Gregory last year? Gregory was a 1st round talent, even in some mock draft's top 10 for a bit, then fell all the way to pick #60 in the 2nd round. What did Dallas get out of him? 7 tackles last year and a 4-game ban to start 2016. I just don't see Pace taking any high risk guys like this or injury risks.

Henry is built like a brick shithouse. He makes Eddie Lacy look like an 8th grader:

This might sound silly, but just draft the best RB available. I don't think you need to compliment a player that is not on the field at the same time as the other. If we are going to go RBC, then you don't necessarily need someone different than Langford, just someone to spell him. I would want the back that can do anything, otherwise, if you get one that can't catch a cold, then it is easier for defenses to play the run when they are in.

Fixed, thanks was just looking at TNF and MNF. Yeah, very favorable, and based on some projections, either 2nd or 3rd easiest based on SoS.

- Week 9 Bye (one of the best weeks to have a bye), Week 6 last year - Only 1 set of back to back away games (had 3 sets last year) - 4 Prime-time games (Wk2 vs PHI, Wk3 at DAL, Wk7 at GB, Wk8 vs MIN) - THU game against GB followed by MON against MIN going into Bye - SF and WAS play us in December at home

All Visits Draft (based on team visits on WF): 1. Emmanuel Ogbah, DE/3-4DE, Oklahoma State (PRI) 2. Germain Ifedi, OT, Texas A&M (PRI) 3. Austin Hooper, TE, Stanford (PRI) 4. Jihad Ward, DT, Illinois (SR) 4. Antonio Morrison, ILB/OLB, Florida (SR) 5. Devon Cajuste, WR, Stanford (EW) 6. Dan Vitale, FB, Northwestern (SR) 6. Elijah Shumate, S, Notre Dame (EW, COM) 7. Roy Robertson-Harris, DE, Texas-El Paso (WOR) Toughest part was we only visited with one CB, Jackson, and I don't think we take him at 11 and think he will be gone by 41.

I don't know if teams didn't have Rodgers on the board, but they felt the player they drafted was rated higher than him. Cleveland had Dilfer at QB and drafted Braylon Edwards, the Bears had Grossman and drafted Benson, TB had Griese and drafted Williams. Baltimore had Anthony Wright at QB and drafted Clayton. To me the craziest part of the draft was that Dallas and Minnesota both had 2x picks prior to GB's, and they passed on Rodgers twice!
-
That's not true for every team. Remember the picture from the Dallas draft room? http://miamiherald.typepad.com/.a/6a00d834...ed728264970b-pi Dallas slotted by round, and actually made their picks off who was the best value at their pick. There top 10 ranked players were gone and Dez was 11th and was drafted 24th, Sean Lee was ranked 14th and their 2nd rounder.

Hell in the 3rd, you could take Darron Lee or even Connor Cook.

Does record even matter in the preseason? I actually like that we play some good teams, it seems like you can get a better idea on your strengths and weaknesses when you play better competition. When you play inferior teams, they may not exploit potential weaknesses as much.

It is hard to look back on what would've been with the new players since it will be a different team next year (no Forte/Bennett, etc) Looking ahead, I see 10 winnable games, and the only really challenging games outside of GB/MIN are Washington and Houston. So if the toughest games are GB and MIN, I like our chances. Home: Detroit 7-9 (W) Green Bay 10-6 Minnesota 11-5 Philadelphia 7-9 (W) Washington 9-7 Jacksonville 5-11 (W) Tennessee 3-13 (W) San Francisco 5-11 (W) Away: Detroit 7-9 (W) Green Bay 10-6 Minnesota 11-5 Dallas 4-12 (W) NY Giants 6-10 (W) Houston 9-7 Indianapolis 8-8 (W) Tampa Bay 6-10 (W)

Bears Preseason schedule: Aug. 11-15 vs Broncos Aug. 18-22 at Patriots Aug. 25-28 vs Chiefs Sept. 1-2 at Browns http://www.chicagobears.com/news/article-1...8c-53cd2502d476 All AFC teams for 2nd year in a row? Interesting.

I think they said Alshon OR the 11th pick, not both. This article: https://thejetpress.com/2016/04/06/new-york...rs-makes-sense/ The article is garbage regardless and doesn't make much sense. He says the team needs to find another premier WR to go alongside Marshall and Decker, but then says "remember defense wins championships". LMAO Right now the Jets are up against a wall. They have no choice but to cut players of value just to sign Fitzpatrick, and risk losing Wilkerson with only a comp pick to free agency next year anyway. They also can't sign new free agents because they have zero cap space. So the longer this drags on the better it is for the Bears. I don't even think the 1st rounder is in play anymore.
-
They had just over $14mil, cut Cromartie, then franchised Wilkerson. That is why they can't do anything at QB or even in free agency right now. So the longer the Bears wait, the more desperate the Jets will become.

I was thinking Stanley and Robinson too.
