  1. Because it is only one win, essentially we all could be 1-2 next week (except that we play the Seahawks).
  2. The Seattle game was a loss anyway, their home opener and they are 0-2. Also, I don't know how you can declare a QB out 2 weeks with a hamstring injury already, yet a WR with a hamstring injury is a game time decision. Sounds fishy to me.
  3. Peyton Manning has thrown Pick-6s in back to back games, and they won both. Wilson was 19-30, 206 yds, 2 TDs and 1 INT (4th Quarter INT) against GB and Cutler was 18-36, 225 yds, 1 TD, 1 INT against them. Cutler is not really a problem, or if you think he is, he is nowhere near the biggest problem. After two games, he has a better QBR than Peyton and Eli Manning, Brees, Foles, Newton, Flacco, Smith, Bradford, Stafford, and Tannehill against two of the better teams in the NFL.
  4. There are currently 8 0-2 teams, with a potential for 9 if Indy loses tonight. Seahawks, Ravens, Eagles, Giants, Lions, Saints, Texans, and the Bears. The interesting part is that only the Bears, Eagles, and Giants have faced teams that are both currently 2-0. The Lions opponents are 2-2, meaning the only teams the Lions opponents have beat are the Lions. For comparison sake, we lost to GB by 8, SEA lost by 10. I know it looks bad right now and the Cardinals game completely got out of hand after the Pick-6 and injury, but up to that point it was competitive (and that was after the initial KO taken back for a TD). Cutler's only incompletion was the Pick-6, and he had a perfect Passer Rating before that play. This was also with Alshon and Kevin White. I am not worried about the offense. The defense is a different story. We can't get pressure, and our DB's can't cover anyone. I am surprised at how ineffective Houston, Young, and Allen have been.
  5. jason, 10 players sounds about right. If we can bring in 1-2 via free agency and 2-3 via the draft, it will take 2 more offseasons (Year #3) before we are truly competitive.
  6. We also played 2 of the best teams in the league and will face a 3rd one next week. These first 3 games were going to be brutal either way.
  7. I think we also just broke the team record for penalties and penalty yards in one game.
  8. Thank god they missed that extra point, because now we are only averaging 39.5 pts against per game instead of 40.
  9. 8 point game we and we get the ball first. Our defense has only allowed 108 yards, so they have not played that bad. Until the pick-6, our offense and Cutler were near perfect.
  10. Wow! Jared Allen deflects pass and then intercepts it?
  11. Best play of the game, punt, make them fumble, then recover.
  12. wtf? A Pick-6 and he hurts his throwing shoulder attempting to tackle.
  13. Yeah, but both were close plays, especially Fuller's, he was just a split second too early.
  14. Cutler 8-8, 120 yds, 1 TD, 158.3 QB Rating, and now has 2 rushes for 14 yards.
  15. Wow that was an awesome drive. Cutler and Langford, then a nice pass to Bennett.
  16. Refs missed a head shot on Cutler and now a face mask, wtf.
  17. Jay Cutler running some option plays very effectively.
  18. Woo Hoo, Cutler to Bellamy for 6 after Cutler extends a play with a great dish to Forte. Offense and Cutler looked really good on that drive. Cutler overall looks more comfortable and in command of the offense. Cutler 6-6, 90 yds, 1 TD, 158.3 QB Rating
  19. On the Bears first drive, O-Line not too solid, though it was nice to see Miller get a few receptions. Cutler didn't look bad or jumpy. On defense, we are getting some pressure, so it was to force a punt on their first offensive possession.
  20. Wow great start, we kickoff, and they take it to the house.
  21. Yeah, I think the time off doing nothing didn't help.
  22. http://espn.go.com/blog/chicago/bears/post...-demontre-hurst Surprising that we would go down to only 4 Safeties: Rolle, Amos, Vereen, and Jones-Quartey
  23. No way, the Achilles and hamstring are not even on the same side of the leg
  24. Are the Bears who we thought they were? We should have a pretty good indication on what type of team we are after Sunday. If we win, then we are definitely pointing in the right direction; if we lose, we are almost destined for an 0-3 start and will have a tough hole to get out of. Week 1 Top PFF Performers: ILB Shea McClellin (+2.5) LT Jermon Bushrod (+2.3) WR Alshon Jeffery (+2.1) TE Martellus Bennett (+1.9) FS Adrian Amos (+0.9)
