  1. Damn, I thought I was the only one, I didn't want to say anything, but why that number?
  2. I don't like that the Bears, current teammates, staff, and fans have to be punished for this. Why not just fine him and be done with it? The only saving grace is that he will be a little bit fresher throughout the season.
  3. This is not just happening to the Bears, there are already more ACL tears this offseason than last year and a whole bunch of other injuries. Most teams have lost 1-2 starters. So the final cuts are going to be competive as teams pick up other teams cuts.

    Uh oh...

    What did he say?
  5. Wow huge blow for GB, you hate to see players get injured. GB becomes a little easier.
  6. Acho with a strip sack, and now Langford with another nice run (and then improvised TD run).
  7. Perry with nice return, special teams giving offense great field position. Long and Montgomery mauling people and Rodgers with some tough running. Leno again with a blown assignment on a run results in a loss. Another FG, but with no Jeffery all game and no Forte on that drive.
  8. and just like that, Fuller lets up a 48-yard completion to Hilton and tacks on a 15 yard USLC penalty (63 yards in one play).
  9. Wow, only a couple of solid series by the defense, and against a pretty good offense with Luck playing. McPhee with a sack, Jenkins with a QB hit, and Allen with a QB hurry. Mariani with 2 big punt returns as well. Offense stalled with a couple of O-Line penalties, Bushrod got bull-rushed into Cutler on a sack, and Leno with a holding penalty. Cutler has looked pretty good, not making any terrible decisions.
  10. Kelvin Benjamin tears ACL out for season, Rivera is such a bad coach. Jk Injuries are mounting around the league.
  11. I think it was because Forums Names, Yahoo GM names, and Team names are not clearly identifiable, even between the 2 leagues some times.

    Amos moving up

Amos now a 1st stringer on the depth chart and will start alongside Rolle vs Indy: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/...st-team-safety/
  13. Weekend evening is fine for me.
  14. So what is the best case scenario on something like this? I've heard 10 weeks as a low end and 6 months as a high end.
  15. No worries, we just signed Jeremy Kelley, WR, 6-6, 231. Cameron Meredith also looked pretty good, he might stick. Otherwise, do we go after someone like Reggie Wayne or James Jones?
  16. So Dante Fowler was a bad pick with a torn ACL? You can't knock Pace for this unless he was aware of these issues and still drafted White there.
  17. Damn, not like we were competing for SB this year but damn.
  18. I am not too worried about the offense. The 1st team offense didn't have Forte or Alshon, and a couple of penatlies (Mills, Montgomery) derailed some drives, which is correctable. For the defense, besides for a couple of long plays, Miami really didn't do too much. The turnovers created, even though they occurred against backups, was promising. With the 1st defense, Miller had a long cutback run when Jenkins didn't set the edge. Cornelius Washington, Sam Acho, and John Timu really stood out on defense.
  19. We had 8 OLinemen on the 53-man roster last year, so the top 8 would seem to be: Bushrod, Slauson, Montgomery, Long, Mills, Ola, Grasu, Ducasse. Weaver and Fabuluje possibly fighting for the 9th spot if they take 9.
  20. Unlike Malcom Butler's INT, most interceptions are not necessarily great plays on defense, but mistakes by the offense. So for Cutler to not have a mistake that has resulted in a turnover, you have to be pretty optimistic about that translating to the regular season. Obviously he is going to have turnovers, but even "Cutting" them in half would be huge.
  21. To me, compared to other years, the lack of turnovers is a tangible difference. I still hold my breath, but I believe Cutler will have his best year as a Bear.
  22. Regardless of the outcome, the team must be pretty happy with the current O-Line to make a move that would reduce our quality depth. Also, I like the fact that Pace is working and making connections with other GM's. In regards to a trade with NE always ending bad, I would be more concerned if we were picking up one of their overpriced vets.
  23. Wow, Wells was the 2nd pick in the 6th round (Pick 178), not bad for an undrafted player. He is comparable in size to Chancellor and has the speed to stay with WRs and TEs.
  24. Pix, it has never been a keeper league or an offline draft, or at least I was not aware of those settings. That is definitely a Commish question.
