The more I think about it, the more I think only Williams, Winston, Mariota, Cooper, White, and Scherff are in play at #7. The odds are that Fowler will go in the top 6, which means someone, most likely Scherff is available at #7. I would not mind that pick, as Long/Scherff would be a nasty pair on the right side. My ordered preferences are: Williams, Cooper, White, Mariota, Winston, Scherff, Shelton, Fowler, Peat, Beasley, Collins, Waynes

lol, Washington needed a FS, he was the top player on their board at that pick. I would say from this list: James Sample SS Louisville Henry Anderson DE Stanford Garrett Grayson QB Colorado State Mike Davis RB South Carolina Daryl Williams OT Oklahoma Tyrus Thompson OT Oklahoma

With the 105th pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, the Washington Redskins select: Derron Smith, FS, Fresno State The Chicago Bears (jason) are on the clock...... The next pick will conclude the 2015 TalkBears Community Mock Draft.

Makes total sense. If he plays well, we can bring him back cheap and save some cap space. A no-brainer.
-
Yeah, I forgot about Unger, that makes it even more compensation for Graham. Even with the name, it is hard to not compare the production from last year. Based on draft value, I would not take a pick worse than 60. We regretted letting go of our last elite TE who has produced for Carolina, I would hate to make the same mistake again.

I'm going to keep this thing going, haven't seen Boston on in awhile. With the 101st pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, the New England Patriots select: David Cobb, RB, Minnesota The Oakland Raiders (scs787) are now on the clock....
-
The draft accuracy after the first round is super low, so besides White (which has about a 20% chance of being picked), all the other picks will more than likely not be those guys.
-
killakrzydav, we only have 6 more picks, and we should be able to get a couple in tonight and the rest tomorrow before the draft starts tomorrow night.
-
He led the league for TE's in receptions, was 3rd in yards, and tied for 7th in TDs. Compare that to Graham who was 2nd, 5th, and 4th and doesn't block worth of shit. If you can get Graham for a 1st rounder, I can't see taking anything less than a 2nd for Bennett.

Flowers was very disruptive this year and would be a great pick in the 4th. Boston Boxer has 8 hours to pick.

With the 99th pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, the Cincinnati Bengals select Cody Prewitt, FS, Ole Miss The Tennessee Titans (jason) are now on the clock......
-
Given the circumstances, Scherff/Peat/Shelton would be the "safest" pick that would be acceptable.

After the Cincy (Mongo) pick, we will move to 12 hours per pick in order to finish before the draft starts on Thursday night. Remaining picks: 35 (99). Cincinnati Bengals (Mongo3451) - Round 4 1 (100). Tennessee Titans (jason) 2 (101). New England Patriots (Boston Boxer) 3 (102). Oakland Raiders (scs787) 4 (103). Jacksonville Jaguars (ASHKUM BEAR) 5 (104). New York Jets (killakrzydav) 6 (105). Washington Redskins (Adam) 7 (106). Chicago Bears (jason)

With picks 96 and 97 in the 2015 NFL Draft, the New England Patriots select: Justin Hardy, WR, East Carolina and Reese Dismukes, C, Auburn The Kansas City Chiefs (ASHKUM BEAR) are now on the clock......

There is one scenario where Mariota, Winston, Williams, White, Cooper, and Fowler are all gone at #7. That would leave us with Beasley, Gregory, Ray, Dupree, Shelton, Scherff, Flowers, Peat, and Waynes as potential #7's. To me it would come down to Beasley, Scherff, and Shelton. To me though, that would be the perfect scenario to trade down in and pick up extra picks.
-
Thanks Pix, we tried less GM's with more teams and it worked much better. Boston Boxer is still on the clock until tomorrow morning..... For the 4th round picks (all 7 of them), we will shorten the "on the clock" time to 12 hours to ensure we finish before Thursday night.

It is really hard to see us pick someone we haven't been talking about in the first, but I could see things going that way from the 2nd on. Here are some really productive names from the 2nd-6th. These would be potential options, depending on how the draft played out. Devin Smith, WR - OSU (2nd Round) - if we didn't go WR in the first, I wouldn't mind him opposite AJ to blow the top off the defense (no one did it better in CFB last year) Paul Dawson, ILB - TCU (2nd-3rd Round) - not really a sleeper, but should be a first rounder with his production Laken Tomlinson, OG - Duke (2nd-3rd Round) - very solid in run and pass defense and would be a great pick in the 3rd Trey Flowers, DL - ARK (3rd Round) - Had a bunch of pressures/hurries on QB's this year, and was also very solid against the run (possible 3-4 DE?) Henry Anderson, DL - STA (3rd-4th Round) - Had better overall stats than Leonard Williams (comparable against the run and much better against the pass), DE in a 3-4 Nick O'Leary, TE - FSU (3rd-4th Round) - Insane hands, 1 drop and 48 receptions James Sample, SS - UL (4th-5th round) - Efficient tackler, top 10 against run and pass, could end up as the best Safety in the draft Lorenzo Doss, CB - TU (4th-5th round) - A ton of pass breakups and INTs in his collegiate career Max Garcia, C - FL (5th-6th Round) - Top 10 pass pro and run blocking Josh Robinson, RB - MS (5th-6th Round) - Reminds me of MJD, elusive yet powerful, crazy back story
-
He was 18th in QBR in the nation. http://espn.go.com/ncf/qbr I don't know if he is the 13th best player in the draft, but anywhere from 5-10 is realistic.
-
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, McShay had Beasley and Collins in the 2nd, so Winston as the 13th best player regardless of position is not too crazy.
-
Fwiw, DraftBreakdown.com and First Round Grade have Dupree as the 4th best player and #1 Edge Rusher in the draft: http://www.talkbears.com/forums/index.php?...t=0#entry147601

These guys have published a free Draft guide for their Top 100 here: http://firstroundgrade.com/2015/04/26/2015...-now-available/ Really cool actually and some of the most detailed analysis you will find on the interwebs. I was surprised to see some of their player grades, and if their grading is any indication, we will definitely have some draft surprises. Here is their top 21 (which were the only players that received a 1st round grade): RANK NAME POS SCHOOL GRADE 1 Leonard Williams DT USC 8.8 2 Kevin White WR West Virginia 8.8 3 Melvin Gordon RB Wisconsin 8.7 4 Alvin “Bud” Dupree EDGE Kentucky 8.5 5 Owamagbe Odighizuwa EDGE UCLA 8.5 6 Duke Johnson RB Miami 8.5 7 Marcus Mariota QB Oregon 8.4 8 Brandon Scherff OT Iowa 8.3 9 Andrus Peat OT Stanford 8.2 10 Todd Gurley RB Georgia 8.2 11 Landon Collins S Alabama 8.2 12 Amari Cooper WR Alabama 8.1 13 Jameis Winston QB Florida St. 8.1 14 La’El Collins OT LSU 8.0 15 Kevin Johnson CB Wake Forest 8.0 16 Danny Shelton DT Washington 8.0 17 Devante Parker WR Louisville 8.0 18 Eric Kendricks LB UCLA 8.0 19 Malcom Brown DT Texas 8.0 20 Cameron Erving C Florida St. 8.0 21 Jake Fisher OT Oregon 8.0 10.0 The “perfect” player. Absolute lock to be a HOFer. (Player with perfect 10 will always be #1 overall pick) 9.5 Lock to immediately become one of the elite players at his position. No flaws. (#1 overall pick) 9.0 Immediate starter. Will become one of the best players at his position in his rookie season. (Top-10 selection) 8.5 Immediate starter. Will become one of the best players on his team during his rookie season. (Top-20 selection) 8.0 Starter during rookie season. Will become one of the best players on his side of the ball on his team during his rookie season. (1st round pick)

I would say he is comparable to Clinton-Dix who went 21st.
-
For us, probably not QB, TE, or RB this year.
-
There are probably only a handful of teams legitimately gunning for a Super Bowl next year and we are not one of them, so getting an immediate contributor is not as big of a deal as compared to other teams one or two players away. As long as we draft a 10 yr starter with pro bowl potential, I will be happy. Easier said than done obviously.

14 picks left, great job guys. We will end this after the Bears 4th round pick. Mongo is on the clock.
