Yeah, I don't know, but it looked liked he clipped the pylon. Surprised it wasn't reviewed.

That drive was all Cutler, wow. He saved it with multiple scrambles, then throws literally a perfect pass to Wilson.
-
Damn, we have ruined a great effort by the defense today. They have played their asses off.
-
Why are we throwing it to Mariani on 4th down?
-
Defense comes up big again. Just not enough on offense, Bennett invisible.
-
Holy crap, just put McPhee on offense as well.
-
Yeah, this is beyond bad right now.
-
Defense is still not playing bad, 10 pts given up is decent in a half. I just hate that picket fence defense there, why not just play 10-15 yards off the LOS instead of 30?
-
Great, Goldman gets chop blocked at the ankle.
-
Ok, I didn't know it could be added on when it is not a pass. Yeah, about time we got a call. That one couldn't have been more obvious.
-
It's called holding, refs not calling a damn thing on the Chiefs, who are holding on every play. The commentators talked about Bennett's hold, yet every player at the point of attack for KC is holding.
-
Refs are garbage, they are calling nothing on the Chiefs. They had an illegal motion no-call on the Charles run, and when does defensive holding get tacked onto a run play? I thought it was either or?
-
Another 3 and out by the defense.
-
Decent drive, pts are pts. We have to make them pay if they are going to blitz every down.
-
Where would Nkemdiche play in a 3-4?
-
Meh, DT doesn't make sense with the other needs and him not necessarily being BPA at that point either. Goff is ok, but he would need to have a Heisman worthy year with a a great TD-INT and a high accuracy rate for me to consider him in the top 5.
-
Lol the first placed I checked too: Sherrod Martin is back, depth is needed without Rolle and with Vereen gone. Brandon Dunn basically replaces Terry Williams on the PS. I believe Barrett Jones can play G or C, just don't know his health status.
-
How about KC and SD? We should split there as well, which would be 7-9 (6-9 leaves one game missing). I would say anything over 6 wins is a success this year and shows progress. I think 7 wins is a realistic number.

No worries, just post from time to time as our guys move up the record books. Nice to see our guys moving past some big names. No ulterior motives here. I post these from time to time.

Detroit is a hot mess right now and riddled with injuries. All the next 4 defenses are in the bottom half of the league except MIN in scoring: KC 29th yards, 32nd pts DET 25th yards, 18th pts MIN 17th yards, 6th pts SD 15th yards, 28th pts Every one of those games are winnable. Especially if we have Jeffery and Ratliff back.
-
Yeah, I heard the same thing, I would have him start suiting up though and at least be on the sideline as a backup.
-
I've heard 12 weeks is sort of the average recovery timeline for White's injury. That would put White out until 15NOV, which I would assume he would need a few weeks to get into some type of condition to play. Looking 2 weeks later, we face GB on Thanksgiving, wouldn't that be a cool time for him to make his debut? Now obviously I would not want him back doing anything until fully cleared to do so and I would also base the decision on our playoff potential at that point.

With the new schemes, we should continue to improve as the season goes on, and if we get some guys back from injury, we should see even more improvement. I think we saw flashes of what we could do in the first few games, but this was the first real game where you can see our game plan control the game/clock. My biggest concern going forward is our special teams, we can't give the other team great field position and then back ourselves up when we get the ball. Also, ref: Porter: Adam Jahns @adamjahns 4m

A pretty cool article about McPhee's speech: http://www.chicagofootball.com/2015/10/04/...aiders/a5k5c8m/ The dude is earning his pay. before Week 4: https://twitter.com/Gil_Brandt/status/650034152411021312

Good game overall, have to fix the special teams, they are a detriment to the team right now and bringing down the other phases. The average starting field position was terrible all game. Besides the two turnovers where we got the ball on the OAK side of the field, the special teams gave us this dumpster fire for starting field positions: 20, 6, 12, 8, 20, 31, 20, 10, 20. Both of our TD scoring drives went 80 yards. Cutler had one or two bad passes that included the INT, but for the most part he played a solid game (even with him being limited against scrambling). On the INT, it needed to go more outside (like Cutler said in the post game), but why did Bennett jump at a waist high pass? He turned and left his feet (for no reason) which seemed to give Woodson a clear shot at the ball. Regardless, Cutler needs to throw the ball away or to a place where it can't be intercepted (which is to the outside). He needs to know that even a FG there makes OAK need a TD to win. Bennett was a beast making several huge catches and first downs. It was nice to see Royal starting to make an impact and Wilson's name on a few plays. Can't imagine how this offense will look with a healthy Alshon, White, Royal, Wilson, Bennett, and Forte. O-Line played decent despite injuries. Defense making plays. McPhee and Jenkins making impact plays two games in a row. People are asking about salary cap, how about locking up Jenkins if he continues to play like this? I might even do it sooner than later before he becomes even more expensive. I heard Acho's name called a lot. Goldman had a nice sack. The defense only allowed 243 yards. Porter played decent except for the missed tackle on Helu with Jones (that was ugly). I missed Jared Allen not holding contain on every play, that was a nice subtraction.
