  1. Teo is on the phone? It's Teo.
  2. Please no Te'o, at least not at 20.
  3. Floyd was as high as the top 5, getting him would be awesome.
  4. Seems like a logical pick for us at #20, if Angelo was still GM. Injured + Safety
  5. Makes sense, I liked him better than Joeckel. KC is going to be a lot better this year.
  6. WR and both OTs are questionable? Bushrod? Marshall, Jeffery? Safety? We are so deep at safety. Both Guards are trouble? Slauson? DT and CB are good? I am confused, this is not very accurate. I would say OG, LB, DT, CB, OT, C, WR then QB would be the order.
  7. After everyone got over the emotions of the move it was the right decision. The funny thing is Urlacher couldve been back, he just elected not to play for the Bears offer. It was ultimately his decision.
  8. A pretty logical draft by position, though a WR instead of TE would be the better route IMO. Richardson in the 1st would make our D-Line one of the most dominant in the league with Peppers and Melton next to him, and he could learn from the best. Brown at 50 is a great value, and he could come in and possibly start at MLB. Webb is a good pickup in the 4th, immediately becomes Nickelback and could move over if Jennings or Tillman get hurt. Fragel would be decent there for a project. He might not start year one, but has enough upside to compete. Gragg is eh, but it is a 6th.
  9. Yeah that would be awesome.
  10. So we are trading with SF for 34 and JAX for 64? Do you mean SF's 61st pick? Brown and Pugh are fine, but Jones may be a little high at 64.
  11. Just thought I was start a running thread for the draft to put all our thoughts in one place leading up to the draft as we now have about 30 overlapping threads on essentially the same topic.

    30 for 30

I think a player that threatens something like that, they should be held out for an entire year and then can re-enter the draft the following year. To me, it affects the competitive spirit of the game. It is bad enough with all the money involved, but what happens when 2-3 players start doing it saying they won't sign the contract if drafted? Eli and Elway are in the same boat for me.
  13. Must be a Jack Rabbit.
  14. Lol, what? Moore has had 43 tackles for a loss in his career, Klein had 19. Actually, Klein is the last one I would want. Greene is the highest rated amongst the three, but based on our draft position, Moore seems to fit the 5-6 round slot if we want him.
  15. I really like Sio Moore.
  16. I just don't see us taking 2x MLBers in the entire draft, let alone in the first 2 picks, especially considering we have Williams for this year. Swope is decent, no complaints there. I doubt Schwenke makes it out of the 3rd round, and Bakhtiari will be long gone before pick 131. I haven't seen him past 100.

    30 for 30

I remember the whole Elway fiasco and how he refused to play for the Colts. I hated him from that day forward. No one should be above the process. On the Bears, if they got Long, I don't think they would've picked Dent, so they would've never played together, but man would that have been a pair of dominate ends.
  18. I believe Glennon is the 2nd QB we have visited with, the other being Mitchell Gale from Abilene Christian. Here is what I am tracking for Private Workouts: Kiko Alonso – ILB – Oregon Jon Bostic – ILB – Florida Arthur Brown – LB – Kansas State Zaviar Gooden – LB – Missouri Khaseem Greene – OLB – Rutgers Alec Ogletree – LB – Georgia Nate Palmer – LB – Illinois State Sean Porter – LB – Texas A&M Keith Pough – LB – Howard Manti Te’o – LB – Notre Dame Keegan Wetzel – LB – Navy Reid Fragel – OT – Ohio State Travis Frederick – OC – Wisconsin Edmond Kugbila – OG – Valdosta State Justin Pugh – OT/OG – Syracuse Brian Schwenke – OC – California Robert Alford – CB – Southeastern Louisiana Brandon McGee – CB – Miami Don Unamba – CB – Southern Arkansas B.W. Webb – CB – William & Mary Mitchell Gale – QB – Abilene Christian Mike Glennon - QB - NC State Eric Rogers – WR – Cal Lutheran Ryan Swope – WR – Texas A&M Christine Michael – RB – Texas A&M Keavon Milton – TE – Louisiana-Monroe Lawrence Okoye – DE – Olympian I would say if the private workouts are any indication, it looks like we are going to take 2 LBs, 1 OL, 1 CB, and 1 from the group of QB, WR, RB, TE, DE). Interesting not to see a single DT with a private workout. Could you make a solid draft from this group?
  19. I know, he is higher on other sites, I don't know what NFL.com uses, but I was surprised to see him at 51.0 tied for last in the OL group.

    Top 3 Picks

Thanks, I just like to break things down from different angles to see if there are trends or other interesting perspectives.
  21. He fits the target range of our 4th round pick, but rated as the lowest OL according to NFL.com: http://www.nfl.com/draft/2013/tracker#dt-t...sition-input:ol
  22. Yeah obviously, 6-10? Now the Bears could very well end up 8-8, but 6-10, that is highly unlikely.

    Te'o

I would say going to Baltimore or Chicago would be the worst destination for him. He needs to go to a smaller market and not put any undue pressure on himself. I could just see the endless number of blowup doll "girlfriends" in his locker every week.
