  1. When I am out of town anywhere, I use: http://www.thefirstrow.eu/sport/american-football.html
  2. Interesting to hear the commentators say we might only keep 2x QB's as we need to roster spot for LB/S/OL.
  3. https://twitter.com/BradBiggs/status/240555754598305792 Rotoworld thinks he is going to play in Week 1. I hope he is 100% with a Thursday game vs GB in Week 2.
  4. I am sure a team with injuries will pick him up. They were bringing him down to the league minimum for a player with 4-6 years. Also, over $1 million for a 3rd string RB is a lot for a guy who has only 20 games and 500 rushing yards under his belt in 4 years. His most notable achievements were there 100 yard game vs GB last year and his 72 yard run vs Philly in 2009. If he does sign for the league minimum somewhere else, then that will be funny.
  5. Yep, I am always stretching it and I freeze a water bottle, then roll it under the arch until the foot is numb. That helps a lot.

    TO Cut

TravD caused this, he drafted him and then he got cut.
  7. I am sure he is a lot better off than me getting good treatment, but there really is no cure. I ran about 4 miles the other day with little pain, but the next morning was brutal, I could barely put weight on it, and for the rest of that day it was tough. He really needs to just sit out and just play games, if he does too much in practice, it might impact him on game day. The short weeks will be tough. I am just hoping it is a mild case.
  8. Plantar Fasciitis sucks! I've had it for about 18 months now, it comes and goes, but is always there. I run on it regularly, and some times it flares up to the point where I can barely walk the next morning. I've worn a special sock, boot at night, have done physical therapy, and injections. Hopefully he has a mild case, and the injections did help the most, but they can only be done every so often.

    Shae McClellin

We will give him a chance, but please stop the Jared Allen comparisons. Allen had 9 sacks as a rookie and 11 in his second season. I can only hope McClellin can produce half as much. He did look absolutely silly with the spin move right into the hands of the OLineman who just pushed him away as the ball flew over his head. If he stayed facing the QB he could have at least jumped up to block the pass. He is still learning, but that play looked awful.
  10. The only thing I can assume is that Davis is a lock to make the team, that is why he was not mentioned.
  11. They offered 700k compared to his 1.2 mil contract. They were cutting over 500k, he declined.
  12. Booker is much better on Special Teams and Allen is a compliment back to Forte and Bush.
  13. Interesting, so it looks like he would've made the team if he took a pay cut, but since he wouldn't, the Bears will go with Allen or Booker for the lower price.
  14. This gets me pumped too: Nice Catch Jeffery seems really polished for a rookie WR, sitting down in space, and even switched hands when he didn't have the sideline to protect him.
  15. There is no way to justify playing Urlacher vs MIN last year. He can be injured at any point, but when he does in a meaningless game, that is just bad player management. Derrick Rose vs Philly comes to mind. Yeah, even that week is questionable. I would almost want to exercise extreme caution in this case, and wait until October 1st in Dallas. We should be able to beat Indy and STL without him, but GB is going to be a tough game anyway, especially in GB. If they did that, he would only have to play 2 games before getting another week off at the bye.
  16. Offense looks sick. Marshall and Jeffery with some big receptions. Cutler looks sharp.
  17. Cutler throws for 4,000 and 35 TD, under 20 INT and 30 sacks Marshall 105-1,450-14 (All new Bears All-Time records) McClellin 8 sacks, 2 FFB, 2 INT Hardin - starting by Week 6, 4 INT, Plank/Fencik highlight reel hits every week Gould leads the league in scoring Rodriguez 40-550-4 Webb is released by the Bye Week Hester adds 3 more Punt Return TD's to his legacy Bears with a Top 10 Offense, Defense, and Special Teams Bears 12-4, 1st Wild Card team Bears beat Pack in NFC Championship, 27-24 on a Benson fumble and Hester Punt Return TD Bears beat Texans 31-17 in SB
  18. Horrible news with Green Bay in Week 2. Hopefully it is only a minor procedure.

    Urlacher speaks

His injury is huge, and that fact that he said he was pretty sure he would be ready for week one is worrisome. The defense is completely different without him in the middle.
  20. I dunno, you can't say none of this counts as assessments are always ongoing. From college, to OTA's, to preseason games, to the regular season, there is some translation between those.
  21. it sucks to see other potential 1st round draft picks excelling (per Rotowolrd): The Bears were linked to Coples, Mercilus, Ingram, and Jones at some point before the draft. I really hope McClellin proves the doubters wrong, but right now he is sort of behind the power curve.
