  1. Do we miss an extra point? We are going to allow 38 pts after SF's Defense allowed 14? That is a huge jump. I would like to think we have a comparable defense. I'm thinking something in the 20's allowed. Also, our offense is a lot better and GB's defense is not very good, they allowed 30 against SF so your pts for seems spot on. I am thinking: Bears 34-24 w/GB getting a late TD. Bears 27-14 at half.
  2. The Packers will be in last place!
  3. Wow, what a throw and catch!!!!!! Cutler threw that over 60 yards with touch, LMAO!
  4. STL driving, in scoring position, JAX now up against Minny.
  5. Should've had a TD there, but any pts is better than none I guess.
  6. I'm glad Forte got the TD there, Bush is going to have 30 by the end of the season.
  7. Phantom call against Jennings really took the life out of the defense. They looked like crap after that.
  8. O-Line looking really good.
  9. Jennings just snatched that out of the air full extension, wow........
  10. That's more like it. I was getting worried after the 1-11 start by Cutler. Forte's catch was sick.
  11. Only 9.5 favorites for Week 1, those are pretty good betting odds in favor of the Bears. I see them winning by at least 10. Hard to see the game being closer than that. I am figuring at least 31 on offense, and I can't see the Colts breaking 20 unless there are some late garbage points. What do you think? I say Bears 34-17.

    Cut Day

20 players cut: QB Josh McCown RB Armando Allen WR Brittan Golden WR Joe Anderson WR Terriun Crump TE Brandon Venson OG Ricky Henry OG A.J. Greene OT James Brown OT Corey Brandon DT Jordan Miller DE Chauncey Davis DE Aston Whiteside LB Xavier Adibi LB Jabara Williams CB Isaiah Frey CB Greg McCoy CB Cornelius Brown CB Jonathan Wilhite S Mark Legree I was a little surprised by some of the CB's cut, and McCown could've went either way.

  14. Interesting to hear the commentators say we might only keep 2x QB's as we need to roster spot for LB/S/OL.
  15. https://twitter.com/BradBiggs/status/240555754598305792 Rotoworld thinks he is going to play in Week 1. I hope he is 100% with a Thursday game vs GB in Week 2.
  16. I am sure a team with injuries will pick him up. They were bringing him down to the league minimum for a player with 4-6 years. Also, over $1 million for a 3rd string RB is a lot for a guy who has only 20 games and 500 rushing yards under his belt in 4 years. His most notable achievements were there 100 yard game vs GB last year and his 72 yard run vs Philly in 2009. If he does sign for the league minimum somewhere else, then that will be funny.
  17. Yep, I am always stretching it and I freeze a water bottle, then roll it under the arch until the foot is numb. That helps a lot.

    TO Cut

TravD caused this, he drafted him and then he got cut.
  19. I am sure he is a lot better off than me getting good treatment, but there really is no cure. I ran about 4 miles the other day with little pain, but the next morning was brutal, I could barely put weight on it, and for the rest of that day it was tough. He really needs to just sit out and just play games, if he does too much in practice, it might impact him on game day. The short weeks will be tough. I am just hoping it is a mild case.
  20. Plantar Fasciitis sucks! I've had it for about 18 months now, it comes and goes, but is always there. I run on it regularly, and some times it flares up to the point where I can barely walk the next morning. I've worn a special sock, boot at night, have done physical therapy, and injections. Hopefully he has a mild case, and the injections did help the most, but they can only be done every so often.

    Shae McClellin

We will give him a chance, but please stop the Jared Allen comparisons. Allen had 9 sacks as a rookie and 11 in his second season. I can only hope McClellin can produce half as much. He did look absolutely silly with the spin move right into the hands of the OLineman who just pushed him away as the ball flew over his head. If he stayed facing the QB he could have at least jumped up to block the pass. He is still learning, but that play looked awful.
  22. The only thing I can assume is that Davis is a lock to make the team, that is why he was not mentioned.
  23. They offered 700k compared to his 1.2 mil contract. They were cutting over 500k, he declined.
  24. Booker is much better on Special Teams and Allen is a compliment back to Forte and Bush.
