The Safety class was much thinner, so if you missed in the first, there is no one of value until the 4th? With Gilbert gone, and not a single Safety selected, this is harder to justify. Now we have to hope we can get one of the remaining DT's in the 2nd before there is a run on them.

Someone will be there or someone else that was a top 10 pick will have fallen. Either way we are either getting a need filled or an incredible value pick.

To me any pick not DL or DB in the first 3 rounds will be disappointing. Marshall and Forte's windows are closing, we have to address our biggest needs.
