  1. Olsen not Olson. I would say Rodgers over Finley in GB as a stud. Finley had 5 less catches and 3 less TD's than Olsen last year. I think he will put up similar numbers but nothing special. I would say Reggie Bush as the dud in NO and Brees as the stud, and Kellen Winslow over Benn for TB.
  2. I agree. Hester should be in the slot, and it will be nice to have at least one of those three getting a nickelback covering them instead of one of the starting corners.
  3. From ESPN Blog: http://espn.go.com/blog/chicagobears/post/...ed-as-a-starter So if Knox is firmly entrenched as a starter, and the Bears have eluded to giving Hester some plays off to be more effective in the return game, you would have to think the primary WRs will be DA and Knox. Also, I assume Martz will use a bunch of 3 WR sets as well, making the top 3 basically starters anyway.

  5. Chris posted on the Windy City Gridiron Blog: http://www.windycitygridiron.com/2010/5/24...trade#storyjump I really like Chris Harris and glad he is back with us.

  7. Cool info. Dallas has some crazy grades.
  8. This seems like insurance for Atogwe. That would be silly if we picked him up too, and then cut Bullocks and Steltz.
  9. So now our safeties look like this: Chris Harris Major Wright Al Afalava Danieal Manning Josh Bullocks Craig Steltz I wonder if they will use Manning more as a 5th DB and on returns exclusively with the other 5 being the primary safeties.

  11. Harris is also reunited with Peppers, which should help with team cohesion. I like the move and didn't like the initial trade to begin with. Harris has been above average in Carolina and one of the clubhouse leaders. Now if we can do the same on the OL we will be looking good.
  12. Clark re-signed: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4976203
  13. WR is probably 3rd or 4th on the list of needs, and I don't see it as a critical need as some of the other areas like O-Line and DB.

    Peppers Signed

Really odd to see so many different contract totals. This is the latest: So is it 72 million, 79 million, or 91 million?
  15. I think the organization made a huge statement with these signings, which will make bringing in other marquee players easier in the future. Hell, all three of these guys only came to Chicago, and left with a contract. That is crazy. Especially for someone like Peppers.
  16. Have the Bears ever signed this many marquee players in one day?
  17. Taylor, 7 million guaranteed.
  18. Woo hoo, great signing. via Brad Biggs Twitter:

  20. Schefter: Glazer: http://twitter.com/Jay_Glazer Wow, Peppers and Taylor in one day? Huge, if it happens. Up next, Safety Ryan Clark?
  21. I don't know who this guy is, but this is what he says about Peppers: http://twitter.com/LanceZierlein and per Schefter: http://twitter.com/ADAM_SCHEFTER

  23. Oh yeah, I forgot about that.
  24. Jaws is probably a good player to analyze INTs, since he threw a ton of them. The only problem on some of these was that it was clear that the receiver ran the wrong route or stopped short. Those INTs looked really bad, but it is hard to blame Cutler when he is throwing to a point. Jaws does also say that about 6-8 weren't Cutler's fault, so that is about right. I do think Martz will help and they have a lot more time to prepare than last year.
