  1. Definitely the Colts and Saints, but I doubt they both make it. I would love to see the Saints spank the Vikes in the NFC championship game.
  2. Then add zero time in the pocket and you have a recipe for disaster. Also, I have only seen a handful of times where the receiver broke up a potential INT. Most of the time the receiver just gives up on the play resulting in an easy pick. I would take offensive pass interference over an INT any day.
  3. I would not be surprised if this happens a lot more than anyone knows. The whole team is poorly coached. There is no execution, no crispness, no discipline. It almost seems like they are just going thru the motions now. Like they know the season is over, so why bother giving 100%.
  4. So Gaines Adams = Brian Urlacher. Freaking great.
  5. BF2000, I wouldn't call Forte a bust. Adrian Peterson didn't seem to be running very good against our defense last night unless he had a huge hole to run through. Half the time Forte is hit in the backfield or hit at the line of scrimmage. There is literally no where for him to run. All the plays are telegraphed, and our WR's and TE's are not very good at blocking. Hester is brutal at blocking. There was a swing/screen pass to Forte where Hester completely missed the block on his CB, yet Forte made that guy miss in the open and made a nice play out of it. Every play he makes this year is completely on his own.
  6. I hate the Cover-2 I hate bend, but don't break I hate our 3rd Down defense I hate our Red Zone defense
  7. Yeah, you are up by 20 in the 4th quarter, are about to be 10-1, you are still passing, and Favre is still out there.
  8. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=AoBr...o&type=lgns Long article about his sentiments while watching the Vikings game. This is at the end:
  9. 12 plays and 2 yards in the 2nd half.
  10. Most yards giving up by the Bears since 1982.
  11. Favre was staying in to just break a record.
  12. I also think there is a misconception with the theory "just get him the ball". Very few players are successful in multiple positions. Hester was a top 3 all-time return man, and that does not equate to anything as a receiver. Catching a ball and running thru 3rd string LB's and RB's spread over 50 yards is much different than lining up one-on-one against a first string NFL defense. He has much more value returning kicks exclusively and being brought in on select offensive plays.
  13. Odds on game ending with a Cutler INT?
  14. Smith reminds me of Eeyore, "oh bother".
  15. Actually, it is probably that way with most coaching styles as they all eventually run their course. However, some styles burn out much quicker than others.
  16. At this point it just seems like Lovie lost the team (it happens). His style of coaching only works for so long.
  17. Cowher is the polar opposite of Lovie and is exactly what this organization needs.
  18. My point was the only highlight for the defense was Tillman's strips. That was the only way we stopped the Eagles.
  19. 5 Steps 1. Fire Smith/Turner, bring in Cowher, Shanny, Gruden, or Dungy. Allow them to bring in their own Coordinators. 2. Draft O-Line and sign O-Line via FA 3. Trash the Cover-2 4. Trade Hester 5. Trade Olsen
  20. 2/11 is a big chunk of the defense. They were 4th and 6th in tackles, 3rd in sacks and INTs on the team. That is pretty significant. Also, they were using Kampman wrong, so his numbers are down.
  21. Cutler mechanics have went into the shitter. On some of his throws, it looks like he is just winging them up there and expecting receivers to catch them regardless on how bad they are thrown or where they are thrown. He had two throws like that down the middle that were lofted over the receiver and in front of the safeties. I believe Olsen was one of the receivers. Who was he throwing to? Miscommunication, etc can only be used as an excuse for so long. The over throws to Olsen and Hester on back to back plays were crazy. Also, how do you overthrow Knox?
  22. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=Aug_...p&type=lgns and they have a short week playing Detroit on Thursday. I know we have our own issues, but that sucks for them.
  23. I agree. If Tillman doesn't make those 2 strips, we lose by at least 14.
  24. Cutler is not playing good, and there is no way anyone can continue to defend his performances week in and week out. Regardless of the offensive line, the running game, etc, he is missing easy passes. He has to take advantage of those plays, and he is not. For how good everyone said his accuracy is, he has had some terrible throws the last couple of weeks.
  25. At this point, I do too. The expectations were not as high. Now mine are so low with Cutler that a game without interceptions is awesome.
