  1. Cutler was horrible again tonight. No excuses. You can't overthrow that many wide open receivers in the NFL. How many games have ended this season with a Cutler INT?
  2. The Refs are definitely impacting this game. A ton of non-calls on Philly. The Eagles are clearly out to disrupt the Bears routes and will take the 5 yards vs Pass Interference. Seems like Cutler lacks depth perception. It is sad when a good half is no interceptions.
  3. Eagles 31-17 Bears Cutler 3 INTs (1 in Red Zone)
  4. I believe that the formations would be true for most teams. The more you spread them out, the better chance you have at positive yards.
  5. Right now Cutler is making too many bad decisions in the Red Zone. That is where he is killing the team. On the first Red Zone INT, if he just throws it away and we kick a FG, that last one never even happens. Gould would be in for a potential game winner with a few seconds left and Cutler would be a hero.
  6. It is going to be ugly for the next couple of years. This team has a lot of holes, lack of draft picks, and some aging vets.
  7. The two picks in the Red Zone were unacceptable imo, and those were the two that were his fault. As a Pro Bowl QB, you have to know when to throw it away.
  8. If he doesn't throw the first pick, we at least get a FG. That would've put us in position to win the game at the end. So, regardless of the picks, this one is on him.
  9. Cocky SOB who is showing that he is not as good as he thinks he is.
  10. Just throw it away. Please. Red Zone Interceptions are getting really old. It is not like we were desperately behind.
  11. http://blogs.mercurynews.com/49ers/2009/11...oy-their-front/ You know it is bad when a team that has lost their last 4 is talking trash. Briggs' response:
  12. Yeah, where is all the Marinelli talk now? With Lovie doing the playcalling and Marinelli coaching the DLine, the performance of the defense has been unacceptable this year. Cincinnati has only one game over 23 pts besides the 45 they dropped on us. Arizona's highest total was 31 before putting up 41 against us. Embarrassing.
  13. The team looks done, but at 4-4, they are only 1 back for the WC. Thursday's game is the season. If we win (and can at least split wth GB and MIN), we have a shot. A loss on Thursday completely seals our fate though.
  14. That game was so bad that Fox went to GB and TB game in the early 4th quarter.
  15. If you look at the Super Bowl year roster the only OLine starter drafted by the Bears was Kruetz. So this is not something new nor has it always been a weakness. I just think they went this route one too many times and it didn't work out. They took some chances going with Pace and Omiyale, and drafting Williams. The worst case scenario has played out with all three of them not living up to expectations.
  16. A win would be huge and keep us in the hunt for the WC, but a loss essentially makes a playoff run almost impossible.
  17. nfo, I agree that most of those would be good moves. HH should be in the middle, and that move alone may turn the tide on defense. For the OLine, I don't know about the Tackle swap at this point. Williams is having enough trouble on the right side. I like this move, but I don't know how effective it would be during the season. You are right about Olsen, put start Clark and hopefully light a fire under Olsen's ass.
  18. It is almost like the Bears staff and front office are watching another team every Sunday. We come out of the Bye Week completely flat and lose a winnable game against ATL, then crap the bed completely vs Cincinnati. Anyone with any football knowledge can see our Offensive Line is brutal. Cutler has been pressured constantly since Day 1, and there are been very few holes to our RBs to run through. Omiyale may be the worst OL in the league, yet he has started every game for us? If Turner truly believes he is a "good" football player, we are in real trouble.
  19. Jay is going to win us some games, but right now, we are a 7-8 win team with Jay, and probably a 5-6 win team with Kyle.
  20. He would get his money on any team. Denver has to be loving this trade now. Every Chicago loss gives them a better draft pick.
  21. Then our Offensive Line is the 2%ers at best. You are correct though. There is no accountability. Everyone is fat, dumb, and happy pulling a paycheck. I wonder if Cutler is regretting this trade now?

    What is wrong?

We need a philosophy change. Certain schemes only work when you have the right personnel. We don't have the right personnel on defense for the Cover-2. On offense, we have an offensive line that does not allow us to execute our schemes.
  23. When have the Bears truly looked prepared this year? If we have a losing season, we need to go in a different direction (coaching and scheme-wise). The Cover-2 is outdated, and the offensive scheme is horrible.
