Hester had some speed there.

Besides the ridiculous TD, the defense has played great, yet the offense looks like shit.

Sick of this already, offense has zero rhythm again, go figure. Defense can't hold them forever, this is on the offense and Jay now.

We need to double Nelson.

What is SMC supposed to do when he is already falling down? That flag was late too and the 2 nearest refs didn't throw a flag. 2 garbage calls against the Bears.

We need a 3rd down stop.

We can't have all these 3 and outs, it's getting ridiculous. Same as last game.

If you were the GM, rebuild the defense
T.J. Ward from Cleveland would be a good pickup at S.

Marshall & Forte voted to Pro Bowl
Pro Bowls are now popularity contests. There should be some slots left for coaches to pick remaining deserving players. Alshon is 8th in receptions and 6th in yards, only Brown, Green, and A. Johnson were better statistically. D. Thomas was 9th and 7th, Dez was 14th and 10th. Megatron was 11th in receptions and Gordon was 13th in receptions (in less games). Also, 5 slots went to AFC teams and 3 to NFC teams, both Jeffery and Garcon were more deserving than Bryant or Thomas.

The only way we win is if Jay outplays Rodgers and if the Defense can stop Lacy. Otherwise we are going to get embarrassed and Rodgers is going to be a hero. My hope is a Bears blowout, but realistically, something like Bears 30-27 seems more likely.

Bears extend Robbie Gould...
Cap hit will average around 3.75, and he had a cap hit of 2.925, and an average of 2.583 for the life of the last contract. So he is up an average of 1.2 million a year for 4 years.

let's talk about bad defenses...
I will have to look this up, I wonder what our record is when and when we do not allow a 100-yard rusher.

Cant wait till Sunday!!!!!!
Orton can still help us, man that trade can pay off twice in one day.

Rodgers In
If we can't beat a QB that has been out for 7 weeks, at home, with a not-100% RB, we don't deserve to be in the playoffs. This game is a true test for the entire team. SF, NO, or ARZ (our most likely first round opponents) are not going to like playing in Chicago in early January. We have already shown multiple times this season that we can play in bad weather and cold. Also, a win against GB will be a huge confidence boost for the entire team.

NFC Playoff Scenarios
I mention it, but based on their home performance over the last few years, SEA losing 2 straight at home is the least likely scenario out of all outcomes. For teams I would least like to face, SEA, SF and PHI are the 3 with the best running games, thus would be the toughest opponents with NO, DAL, and ARZ being the easiest opponents.

Rodgers In
They said he has not practiced yet and will at least be questionable for Sunday.

interesting look at josh mccown
I agree, basically McCown has a job if he wants one in Chicago. He can also probably get picked up by a team closer to his family if he so chooses.

Rodgers In
Here we go, it will be interesting to see if he is "rusty" like Cutler was vs Cleveland and Philly. We are going to need Peppers, SMC, and the rest of the D-Line to come up big. I just hope we have different results compared to 2011. Same location, same QB's, hopefully a different result. In a way, Rodgers playing sets up for either an epic win or a disastrous loss. We can win and go in knowing we played the best Packer team they had, knock them out of the playoffs, we do it at home, and avenge the 2011 NFC Championship loss - or we lose, to a QB who has been out forever, to our division rival who wins the Division in our house, and knocks us out of the playoffs, all in one shot. Man it is going to be crazy. We really need the fans to come out and be loud. Rodgers timing has to be a little off and a lot of noise surely will make it worse.

NFC Playoff Scenarios
Assume Bears, Seahawks (vs STL), Panthers (at ATL), and Saints (vs TB) win. That leaves 2 games to deciding the seeding for the NFC. SEA and CAR would finish 1-2. PHI at DAL SF at ARZ If SF and PHI win (favorites): NO at PHI and SF at CHI 4 If ARZ and DAL win (home teams/underdogs): SF at CHI 3 and NO at DAL If SF and DAL win: NO at CHI 3 and SF at DAL If ARZ and PHI win: SF at PHI and NO at CHI 4 So to me, the best matchup is NO in Chicago, and that would only happen in the last 2 scenarios. If all favorites win, we get SF. A crazy scenario is if SEA somehow loses (possible but unlikely), they could drop all the way to the 5th seed (SF wins division) and would play in Chicago if Philly wins. Otherwise, we would be 6th and play NO. Lastly, we can draw ARZ at home if ARZ and DAL win, and NO loses. That would be pretty crazy too.
