  1. So here it is: Bears get: Jay Cutler, Johnny Knox - WR Broncos get: Kyle Orton, Robert Ayers - DE, Richard Quinn - TE (for picks #79 & #84), Alphonso Smith - CB (for 1st Round pick in 2010) Steelers get: Kraig Urbik - OL, Mike Wallace - WR (both picks for pick #64) Seahawks get: Bears #1 pick in 2010 (for pick #37) It seems that Denver had a chance to come out pretty good with the original trade. However, trading away a first rounder for A. Smith was a pretty big reach. Then trading picks #79 and #84 to grab Quinn was also pretty questionable. Seattle and Pittsburgh both made out pretty good.
  2. I'll say Moore and Gilbert. Those two have a pretty high ceiling.
  3. We have 2 of the next 10 picks. Definitely some value here. DJ Moore and a WR?
  4. Then it is not as bad. I know you can't go off the draft value chart exclusively, and this may be all they could've gotten. If their guy was off the board, no reason to pick just to pick.
  5. Yeah, I wonder if Seattle asked to move up, or the Bears were looking to move down. If Seattle was looking to move up, no way do you take that deal. If you are moving completely out of a round (19 slots), you should at least receive their 3rd this year and next.
  6. I thought teams overpaid to move up, not down.
  7. Damn, we moved down 19 slots for an extra 4th rounder. Geez.
  8. Horrible value on that trade. 49th was worth 410 and the 2 picks we got were worth 334.
  9. Can't trade that pick (supplemental).
  10. So Robert Ayers, Alphonso Smith, Kyle Orton, and a 3rd Round pick for Jay Cutler and a 5th.
  11. WRs coming off pretty quick. So who is falling?
  12. We can finish this, just give 4 hours to post, and if the original poster has yet to respond, have someone post for them.
  13. I actually referenced it here after seeing him in the other thread: http://www.askthecommish.com/2009nfldraft/auto_draft.asp I kinda like the computerized drafts sometimes as it takes some of the subjectiveness out.
  14. I don't see it as a reach. With Unger off the board, this was their next biggest need. He was ranked #48 and went #46, so I reached by 2.
  15. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=Akms...o&type=lgns Takes some mystery out of the first pick.
  16. With the 46th pick, the Houston Texans select Donald Washington, CB, Ohio State. The New England Patriots (MadLithuanian) are on the clock.
  17. Yeah, that is a good thing. Someone should fall to us in the 2nd.
  18. With the 44th pick, the Miami Dolphins select Patrick Chung, S, Oregon. The New York Giants (DaBearsdabomb) are on the clock.......
  19. With the 40th pick, the Oakland Raiders select: Clint Sintim, LB, Virginia. The Green Bay Packers (bowlingtwig) are now on the clock............................
  20. Nice read. Thanks for posting. Last year I looked back at the Bears picks for the last 10 years to see basically the same thing, except from what I remember, the results were much different. So teams may vary between each other. The Lions are a great example, with all their WR picks over the last few years.
  21. The 1st Round is complete. The Detroit Lions (Dabearsdabomb) are on the clock with the 1st pick (33) of the 2nd round.
