I was kind of shocked to see this today. Normally the "faces" of the franchise don't act like this. Hell, Brady took a pay cut (or at least restructured his deal) for the team.
Why would the Bears extend someone with so many years remaining on his contract? There has to be more to this. Maybe he was upset that the team even considered moving him to the outside? I dunno, this just seems sort of odd coming from him.
Sorry guys, comp problems, back up now.
With the second pick in the 2008 NFL draft, the St. Louis Rams select Chris Long, Defensive End, from Virginia.
Ashkum Bear and the Atlanta Falcons are now on the clock........
In the top picture he almost looks like "Frank the Tank"! LOL.
They need to do a skit about him on SNL now. "Fu%4 the playbook, pass the beer bong"
Jokes aside, he does need to mature as a person. He is killing opportunities. Just think of how many marketing opps he is losing out on other than beer commercials.
If you need me to take a 2nd team, I'll take DAL.
I assume this will only be a 1st Round Mock with only 22 days left until the draft. If so, you can remove Cleveland and Indianapolis since they don't have 1st round picks.
Also, Balta, it may be easier to fill it in by slot:

I didn't look at it that way. The defender can just let the offensive guy jump up, and the defender can now actually catch him and carry/push him out of bounds.
Yeah the fask mask rule needed to be adjusted.
The problem with the pushout was there was no way to tell if the receiver would have gotten the other foot in. It was too much of a judgment call. I actually like the college rule of one foot better. I thought having something in between left too much up to the refs to decide.

I never even thought about something like that.
There is no way that would ever be implemented, but it was funny that they even considered it. Must have been for entertainment value. Just think of how many TD's Hester would have.
nfo, I added my responses in blue. You bring up some completely legitimate concerns. I would take Mendenhall, but only if the OL come off the board too quick and there is only a reach at 14 with Mendenhall available.
