  1. Kruetz, Tait, and Garza should be the only 3 starters returning. Pick one up via FA, and draft at least 2 others. It might even be time to draft a Center.

    McNabb?

Philly might as well dump McNabb now, because they will not get as much for him next year. I just don't see the Bears having enough to deal with though. Also, can the Bears afford to give up high draft picks with so many holes to fill?
  3. Do it. A couple of years younger than Moose. Would he have hard feelings about the trade though? I bet Atlanta picks him up.
  4. My only worry with Hester is if he starts playing WR more, will that degrade his return abilities? Right now he is fresh on runbacks, but if he starts taking more hits, will he be less effective on returns?
  5. Which makes those stats even better.
  6. Some pretty good assessments. I posted a little from each player, but there is more at the link. http://www.rotoworld.com/content/features/...=29927&pg=2
  7. I wouldn't mind him, but some team will more than likely give him crazy money.
  8. Hester has too much value with his current contract. He is worth more than a 2nd and 3rd. It is not like Hester is a one year wonder and is going to disappear like Desmond Howard. Hester might be the most dynamic player in the league. You don't trade that type of talent for a QB who had one good year. Also, Anderson would be an upgrade at QB, but with a bad O-Line and questions at RB, he would not really make up the difference lost with losing Hester.
  9. Linebackers and Safeties with neck injuries are never good. It is odd that this is something that was just found this year, making it a new injury.
  10. Pretty decent draft. Anything after the 3rd is a crapshoot anyway. Hell, probably anything after the 1st is.
  11. Current rankings: # 1 '85 Bears (10,653) 203,657 # 2 '78 Steelers (2,426) 161,630 # 3 '89 49ers (2,684) 155,609 # 4 '84 49ers (1,588) 151,716 # 5 '72 Dolphins (3,285) 150,890 # 6 '77 Cowboys (851) 109,215 # 7 '98 Broncos (658) 96,721 # 8 '86 Giants (417) 86,137 # 9 '91 Redskins (1,003) 85,493 # 10 '73 Dolphins (232) 84,278 So make sure you vote Bears, then the 73 Dolphins, 91 Skins, etc, etc so the Steelers and 49ers don't move up.
  12. Some things to note. NE has some age, and it seems like as the season wore on they got worse. The NE Defense looked completely winded after that first series vs the NYG. Think about how beat up SD was (Rivers, Gates, and LT all injured), yet the Pats barely beat them. They also didn't dominate the Jags like expected. It was almost like they were playing teams at just the right time. With a healthly LT, Rivers, and Gates, SD probably wins that game. Regardless, the 85 Bears can still say they are the best team of all time.
  13. Also, Welker draws nowhere near the attention that Hester does. Everytime Hester lines up on offense, it is a circus. Even though Welker led the league in receptions, he rarely saw coverages shift to him (see Moss).
  14. 72 Dolphins or current obnoxious Boston fans, which would you rather have? I'll take the old Phins.
  15. G-Men, Tiki Barber says hello from the studio.
  16. That trade really worked out for the G-Men.
  17. What a sore loser Belichick leaving the field early, classless.
  18. Plax was right, the Pats would not score more than 17 pts. What a bold prediction.
  19. I just realized the Pats have won all 3 of their Super Bowls by 3 pts each.
  20. I actually don't mind the Giants being in there as much as I would if it was the Packers or Cowboys, so pick your poison. Would it have been any better to have the Pack in there after we beat them twice? I think that would've burned a little more.
  21. 3-0 G-Men after the 1st quarter. 7-3 Pats midway thru the 2nd. Actually a pretty close game. Pats look tired...and old.
  22. It was 44-3 after 3 quarters. The Pats had -19 total offensive yards in the 1st half. That is how dominant the game was.
