OL stats
Hard to believe Webb is positive, and I am hoping that is Edwin Williams, not Chris.

New Bears Coach
I didn't see this posted before, but it looks like Emery wants a new HC by the east-West Shrine Game on January 19th. So there is sort of an internal deadline. If that is the case, how would that affect the coordinators who are currently in the playoffs? I guess the assumption is you will only have 4 playoff teams left at that point and it is highly unlikely it will be GB at ATL AND IND at DEN. McCoy, Armstrong, Clements, and Arians are currently in the playoffs. Sullivan, DeCamillis, and Carmichael are not.

New Bears Coach
I love that. Wanny, Jauron, and Lovie were all defensive coaches, it will be a nice change.

Walter Football Mock
I would take either, especially if they were also BPA at those positions.

New Bears Coach
I would be happy with Arians, Carmichael, or McCoy.

Andy Reid thread
Interesting that Reid would rather go there than ARZ or SD. I assume he has to like having the 1st pick, and they must be giving him more control than in other positions. They did have 5 Pro Bowlers, but they didn't seem like the best place to go compared to Chicago, Arizona, or San Diego.

Will Muschamp
After that performance, it is hard to see him still in consideration.

Thx, added to the list at the top.

We're now officially rebuilding
Hester and Urlacher will be gone anyway, with Davis, Spaeth, etc. So I don't see this as a complete rebuild. Our main players will still be there. We have the Big-3 on the offense, and Peppers, Tillman, and Briggs will be there on defense. We will hopefully re-sign Melton, still have Jennings, and a whole slew of young safeties. We get a new MLB, address the O-Line via draft and FA, add a decent TE, and maybe add another WR (please Amendola), and we will be right there again next year.

Off season player acquistion
Looks like Matthews won't be entering the draft. https://twitter.com/RUSSLANDE/statuses/286547354151157761

New Bears Coach
I am mixed on McCoy. It is hard to gauge his actual value when a team brings in Peyton Manning from having Tebow the year prior. I know Fox got a lot of credit for making it work with Tebow, but I assume McCoy had a lot to do with that as the OC. He almost made Orton into a 4,000 yard passer and has experience with Marshall. On the downside, his offense's (other than this year) have been average at best. So sort of a mixed bag. To me Emery has his "type" of guy in mind, and hopefully he gets the top guy from that field, and we don't have to settle for someone other than McGinnis again.

Emery press conference
I would say that is Gruden first, then maybe someone like Cowher, who also gets pretty energetic.

2013 Schedule
We are all of a sudden going to go 5-1 in the Division? We will be lucky to get to 4-2. As I said before, that is a tough schedule outside of the Division, I am hoping for a 4-2 Division record and 6-4 non-Division record for another 10-6 finish. The 6 non-division wins would be PHI, STL, CLE, DAL, NO, and CIN, same as Wesson. For the Division, it is a crapshoot, I see us splitting with Minnesota, sweeping Detroit, and hopefully splitting with GB, but I can see them sweeping us (again), making us finish 9-7.

2013 Schedule
I merged threads so we don't have a 1,000 on the same topic.

Andy Reid thread
I though Lovie might go there with the defense. If not, he will end up in Buffalo.

Lovie Smith FIRED as HC
Lovie already contacted by four teams. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/report-four-t...08665--nfl.html So 4 out of Philadelphia Eagles, Buffalo Bills, Kansas City Chiefs, San Diego Chargers, Cleveland Browns and Arizona Cardinals. Buffalo and Arizona have similar defenses in terms of impact players and that is where Lovie is most interested. Peterson could be Lovie's new Hester, and the offense can be just as bad.

Yes Virginia! There is a Santa Claus!!!!
I was actually thinking of a great slot receiver like Amendola (UFA) instead.

Team Trend (one of many) since 2006
Yep, I can't tell you how many times we have let teams back into games by first playing uber conservative on offense which would result in numerous 3 and outs, and then switch to prevent and allow teams to play pitch and catch all the way down the field for a score.
