  1. Yeah, it looks like a sunburn, only purple.
  2. That was a pretty boring game. The Chargers kicked way too many FGs inside the 10. Should've at least went for one of those.
  3. Yeah, but the fact that he is running and will be cleared to practice is great news. Sometimes guys are not ready for this until the summer.
  4. Will Dent ever make it in? If Hampton is in, Dent should be as well. There are very few Defensive Ends who were Super Bowl MVPs. 34½ sacks in 2 years is Madden-silly. http://www.chicagobears.com/news/NewsStory.asp?story_id=4289
  5. Great news. Dvoracek and Harris in the middle, when healthy, could be one of the best tackle tandems in the league. http://www.chicagobears.com/news/NewsStory.asp?story_id=4296
  6. Pretty good breakdown of the season. http://chi.scout.com/2/720848.html

    THE DRAFT and FA

With the 1st round pick, we need to draft at the position where that player can contribute immediately while upgrading that position at the same time. If we draft Woodson, is he going to help us in 2008? Probably not. I wouldn't mind drafting him if we acquired 2 O-Linemen via FA. Otherwise we need to draft a couple of OL within the first couple of picks. Phillips would be a great pick because he would contribute immediately and upgrade the position.
  8. Here is some info about the flip: Also, like BearSox said, the flip occurs at the Combine.

    Bright Spots?

The 3 and out stat just shows how bad our offense really was.
  10. Yeah, I would hate to lose a home game.
  11. I'm sure most of the teams will be flying around in the rumors. I hope the Bears don't go, that would suck for the travel.
  12. I would hate to lose a 3rd rounder only to move up 3 spots. Phillps and Clady probably won't make it out of the Top 10. I would still rather move down into the early 20's and pick up a late 2nd, if some team wants to move up.
  13. I would not mind if two out of the first four picks were OL (first 3 rounds).

  15. 12-4 would be a remarkable turnaround for a 7-9 team. You are assuming we will go 5-1 in the division a year after going 2-4. Realistically, I see us at 10-6.
  16. I think he brings an extra pair of clothes for those occasions.
  17. 8 picks. Our picks for the first three rounds: 1st Round - #14 2nd Round - #44 3rd Round - #75 3rd Round - (from SD somewhere around #90) Then we have the following picks (approximates based on # of supplemental picks): 4th Round - #109 5th Round - #151 (from CAR) 6th Round - #181 (Approximate due to supplemental picks) 7th Round - #224 (Approximate due to supplemental picks)
  18. This place links a ton of them: http://hailredskins.com/MockDraft.htm I normally go there to see which ones have been updated.
  19. I've never heard it like that before. Obviously the O-Line needs an overhaul thru FA and the draft. It will be interesting to see what happens before the draft. I believe the Bears will also do some post-June 1st moves this year - picking up players other teams need to cut to save cap space.
  20. Classic. Now if it could be NYG and SD, I would be happy.
  21. I would not give up Brown or Anderson in that scenario. If we are moving up, I would swap picks, give up next year's 2nd and this year's extra 3rd (from SD). There would probably need to be another swap in there to even things out.
