  1. He doesn't get going until later in the game. I guarantee his YPG will go from 2-3 in the 1st quarter to 4-5 in the 4th.
  2. I was asking the same thing. The punt was 59 yards.
  3. Key word in bold. At least Dvoracek looks good.
  4. Well that sucked. I thought the fumbles thing was out of his system. Guess not.
  5. There are a few players on this team that the Bears cannot afford to lose......
  6. On offense in preseason (see Toby Hall playing 1B).
  7. The D and Hester sure looked good there. Lets get another TD drive out of Rex here. He seems to work much better with a short field.
  8. O-Line not giving him much of a chance so far.
  9. They are probably trying to jinx us. I don't want to end up the Buffalo Bills.
  10. Yeah, I agree. Lets win one before starting this talk.
  11. They brought up a pretty good stat during the game, even though all the commentators were clearly anti-Rex. They showed the comparison for the first 20 something games between Manning and Grossman. The stats were fairly similar, but the winning percentage was clearly in Rex's favor. The point was that even though he has been around for several years, this is truly his second year as a starter, and a contract year no less. With all that said, I think we will know what we have after Week 3 (SD, KC, and Dallas).
  12. I believe the Bears have as good of a shot as any team in the league as long as everyone stays healthy. If you match the teams up, a 1985 Rematch or a Bears - Chargers Super Bowl would be sweet. I don't think Indy will make it thru the AFC again.
  13. Duerson and Fencik = Brown and Archuleta?
  14. I can't wait to see Benson bowl over people this season. He always moves the pile.

  16. Is it possible? Yes, but to get 30+, he would have to average almost 2 TD's a game, and I don't think the Bears can win like that consistently. They are a run first team that plays great D. He will probably end up with 25-26 TDs. The way I see it, the new players will take away some of the opportunities from the other players (ie Olsen - Clark), especially in the Red Zone.
  17. They would be crazy not to resign Harris. I think it is more of a practice squad thing. They are probably not very impressed with one of the lower guys on the depth chart, and this guy was on their radar.
  18. I can't wait. The Super Bowl seems like a distant memory. On paper, this team is even better this year, so hopefully it translates to on field performance.
  19. Moose, Berrian, Bradley, and Davis + Olsen and Clark + Hester + Benson, Wolfe, and Peterson. Greg Oden still looks like his dad.
  20. Weird. They didn't list him on the NFL.com website: http://www.nfl.com/teams/depthcharts/CHI but he is listed at the Official site. 6 safeties would've been overkill and since the team places more emphasis on DL, this is a great move. I bet they liked what they got in Payne, and decided Harris was expendable.
  21. The only one I could argue with from the Top 7 would be NE. All the others have a single TE that is better or more established than any of ours, but our tandem/trio is probably the best depth-wise.
  22. Not really a huge move. I guess they feel like they have a solid enough core to make a move like this. The Bears still have 4 Safeties on the roster and they may pick up another one once the teams make their roster cuts. D. Manning, #38 K. Payne, #44 A. Archuleta, #20 M. Brown, #30
