  1. I will have this updated one last time by tomorrow night.
  2. There are now numerous suitors for Briggs, which is a good thing. More than likely someone will pull the trigger on draft day. I can't wait...
  3. Yeah, but I think they were talking more about depth than just one or two players. You could say Urlacher alone made that draft a success.
  4. 2003 and 2004 were not too shabby either: 2003 1 Rex Grossman 2 Charles Tillman 3 Lance Briggs 4 Todd Johnson 4 Ian Scott 2004 1 Tommie Harris 2 Tank Johnson 3 Bernard Berrian 4 Nathan Vasher 4 Leon Joe
  5. Thank god it is not a Bear (minus Lance Briggs). So the next questions are: 1. What week will he get hurt? 2. What type of injury? 3. How long will he be out? 1. Week 3 in NO (dome) 2. ACL or Hamstring due to the turf 3. Out the rest of the season
  6. Yeah, good to know, because I would be pissed off with that draft. WR and TE are not even our top needs.
  7. With the 30th pick, the San Diego Chargers select Dwayne Bowe, WR, LSU. Chicago is now on the clock...........
  8. The west coast fans catch hell watching games in the morning for noon games. (11am or 10am) I actually like the 8pm games because no other games are being played at the same time.

The Bye Week is at the exact mid point of the season.
  10. Yeah, if he comes cheap, why not. Sometimes a change of scenery and working with a vet like Moose might help.
  11. I say 8 games. These penalties are tougher than before. Two years ago, I would say 4-6, but now 8. Especially since it was a multiple offense that included jail time.
  12. What just happened? I saw a post about Hall being selected by the Bengals, so I went with Meachem for TEN, but now the Bengals selected Timmons? Just curious, because I would have selected Hall if he was available.
  13. With the 19th pick, the Tennessee Titans select Robert Meachem, WR, Tennessee. The NY Football Giants are on the clock.........

  15. Schedule will be released Thursday.
  16. at Houston at Indianapolis vs San Francisco vs Cleveland Exact dates still TBD.
  17. Are they speculating the 12th straight up with a 2nd or 3rd rounder from the Bills? That would be huge. The 12th pick straight up alone is worth a lot more than the Redskins offer. The 20th pick straight up would not be as good in terms of value compared to the Redskins offer. Man, 12th, 31st, and 37th would be huge.
  18. Mock drafts updated in first post.
  19. Wow, this is getting close: http://www.suntimes.com/sports/football/be...mully28.article The deal he turned down last year was for 6 years at $5.5 million a year with an estimated $15 million in guaranteed money.
  20. However, with Grossman's contract situation, Quinn is not out of the realm of possibility. I would just rather move down and add more first day picks.
  21. Depending on the status of Harris and Dvoracek, they may have to make someone inactive or cut someone once Tank comes back.
  22. I hope he does. With the addition of Adams, this D-Line is looking pretty solid (with or without Tank). Dvoracek is also a wild card. There should be no reason why Harris is not back to 100%. These type of signings make the draft so much better. Now they can get the best available playmaker at each pick without having to sacrifice too much.
  23. From all indications the first round swap is exclusively coming from the Washington side, so that is their initial offer. You have to believe there will be some negotiations to determine the best offer for both sides. Washington had already showed interest in moving out of the #6 pick, so the Bears should be able to use that as leverage. Another option could be the Bears swapping the early round 2nd for the #6 pick. That would give the Bears the #6 and the #31 with no 2nd round pick.
