While I agree with pretty much everything else you said, I am gonna call shenanigans on Anthony Thomas http://www.nfl.com/players/anthonythomas/c...ts?id=THO027279 Thomas hasnt been productive in the NFL since 2003
-
Isnt the LB/DE hybrid more suited for the 3-4 defense though? The last player I can remember playing such a role was Roosevelt Colvin, and the defense was different then(large lineman in the middle, not as much cover 2 as there was 4-3 defense). It is worth a shot, but I have a feeling that Anderson would be targeted even moreso because of the coverage that a LB needs to apply in certain defenses and his tendency to bullrush every chance he gets.

after Temple's bowl game, i doubt he is going to continue with the appeal. That guy is going to try to hit paydirt ASAP
-
I checked all of the classes of those guys except Moreno, Of course he would be a freshman duh Otherwise, the rest of those guys are pretty solid

I watched Flacco tear apart my Salukis too, and I agree that he is a really good prospect. Didnt he transfer from a BCS school to Delaware?

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3177253 Ouch, Martz' son Tim got fired as well. Bad holiday in the Martz household. Hmmm, can Martz change a traditionally west coast offense to the "greatest show"? I dont see a Holt and Bruce in their WR group, but Gore can definitely be comparable to Faulk in terms of running and recieving. I dont think Martz has the time to turn it around though

And you, my friend, are an iguana

I think that is a badly formed opinion

Spare you? Whats with all the drama? Why dont you answer the question? Why would a nicely paid columnist lie about his own opinion? There is no benefit from it, what purpose would it serve? There are different adjectives you can use to discredit him, this one just doesnt fit the bill.
-
Why would Peter King lie about his own opinion?

When you talk about "body of work" and translating that to the NFL, you really have to be careful with Hawaii and Texas Tech QBs. The kids that run the spread offense really have a hard time in the NFL, the body of work becomes pretty meaningless when they have fast athletic defenses flying towards them at all times. I read an argument that "if he had a better O-line" his results would have been better. Isnt that true of any QB? Havent we been saying the same damn thing all year long about the Bears? Moving to the NFL does not mean that you will automatically get a better O-line and it will become easier for these QBs that look like they have the tools for the NFL.

How could you not see that coming? Rivera was interviewing for HC openings during the off-week before the Superbowl, he was talking about getting a payraise during media interviews. This is something Turner will NOT be doing in the upcoming weeks. There is a big difference in the circumstances surrounding those two, Rivera left the Bears with a top 10 defense and in the Superbowl. Turner finished out the year ranked near dead last in every category and the Bears were 7-9.

Steve Slaton, Tony Temple, Knowshon Moreno, Maybe even Mike Hart or Chauncey Washington. Next years RB draft class could be pretty special.
-
He had no idea which side the pressure was coming from and where to run to. And the NFL-type hit that he took from the Georgia lineman on the 4 yard line (which was fumbled into a touchdown) was one of the meanest hits I have seen in college football in a while. You could see Brennans head snap back in slow motion and in realtime.

I agree with this. But I do not, however, believe that the Bears would be dumb enough to try and convert Wolfe to a WR
-
So you are planning on seeing Garrett Wolfe in the CFL? 5'6" WRs simply do not exist in the NFL anymore.
-
I dont think the Bubble screen is something that Gary Crowton left with the Bears, the guy has been gone for more than 7 years now. Many teams use it, the Bears just cannot figure out how to use it effectively.
-
Does anyone think a full offseason at WR and another year getting into being a WR will diminish his return skills a little bit next year(ie. fatigue setting in)?
-
I seen Anderson. I seen Briggs. I seen their seasons. LOL, 15 more minutes until my shift is over
-
You seen this? I seen some things. I seen some real neat things up there ya know? I seen some things
-
I care? LOL, nope, Im just enjoying you acting noob-ish. Maybe you can put me on ignore and start telling me about it too
-
I know, Im enjoying it. He has told you twice today that he has you on ignore. Not much ignoring going on , now is there?
-
LOL, most of the time when people tell you that, they dont have you on ignore. Or, they continue to turn the ignore function on and off to see what you are saying, completely ruining the use of the function. And then they like to use the excuse "I could read what you said because someone else quoted you" He wont ignore you

more healthy? One season finished without going on the IR means he should start next year? When Brown was as young as McGowan, he didnt go on the IR at all. Now a younger SS who has finished on the IR twice in his 3 year career should replace him because he was able to finish one out of three years? You need to set your sights higher McGowan should be what he is, a backup.
-
no draft picks lost if grossman is re-signed. Plus, Grossmans deal would be a heck of a lot friendlier than what Andersons is gonna be after the year he had
