I hate how Comcast is showing a useless Cubs game over Bears Post Game Live. Who gives two shits about baseball anymore? I want to listen to the guys bash this Bears offense and listen to Lovie's press conference about how bad they were. -

Cam Newton has thrown for 432 yards against the Packers. This kid is going to be unreal. -

Jay Cutler has, by far, the toughest job in the NFL. I would refuse to play behind such a pathetic offensive line. It's the same shit every year and we never fix it. Embarassing. -

I hope they cut Omifail at the end of this game. -

Well it doesn't help that our starting WR's are probably two of the worst route running receivers in the league. Knox and Hester are notorious for screwing things up and it makes Cutler into having to be a miracle worker with this offense. -

Its time to pay Forte. He is our only offense. We still have no offensive line nor do we have a #1 WR. It's Forte or bust with this offense. -

Still the worst offensive line in the history of football. -

Next week is a must win. We are getting destroyed by a team I seriously cannot stand. -

No but I'm saying, if the Saints blitz, that means somebody is open and more times than not they send more than 1 guy. Martz has to stop with the long drop backs because it's killing Cutler's ability to get rid of the ball quickly to the guys running crossing routes. -

Meanwhile our defensive line is getting absolutely no pressure on Brees at all. Brees with all day to throw = GG -

All New Orleans is doing is blitzing and leaving guys wide open. I just don't get why Martz continues to insist on calling 7 step drops and forgetting about screens. It doesn't make sense. -
So pretty much everything I said going into this game the Bears haven't done. Awesome.

I just don't see New Orleans marching up and down the field at will the entire game like they did against Green Bay. Our pass rush is better now and they are without their number 1 play maker at WR in Colston. Not to mention Lance Moore being questionable, that leaves them with a very limited amount of game changing threats. The biggest challenge I think is going to be Sproles. Can we keep his YAC down to a minimum? If not, he could be the difference between winning and losing the game. I'd imagine he'll be Brees' 3rd down option on a short quick dump down for conversions. If we take him out of the game, I think the Bears win this won fairly easily. On offense, I would just screen them to death and negate all of their blitzes that they are sure to bring. -

He's probably still full from the crow that was hand served to him all of last season. Guy is a Cutler hater/Saints lover. I remember in that 06 NFC championship game he was saying the exact same things. "Oh wow, that Saints offense is soooooo Good. "Blah blah blah Drew Brees.... blah blah amazing..." You would think by now that analysts would start taking the Bears a little more seriously after making it to the NFC championship game where they should have won if Cutler had been healthy. I mean for God sakes our 3rd string quarterback nearly beat the Almighty Packers without any practice reps for most of the season. Haters gonna hate.. -
Can't see it but I'm pretty sure I can guess as to what those picks are.. Mark (I hate Jay Cutler) Schlerith says the Saints are going to beat us by double digits this week and I saw Bruschi just picked against us as well. Frankly, It's kind of funny and I'm sure the players like it. They play their best when they are in the underdog role. I think with Colston out, and the style the Bears play defense, Brees isn't going to have much of a choice other than to dump it down to his RB's. Sproles could be a problem for us because of his shiftiness and small stature in the short passing game. However I think our offense will kill their defense all game long with screens. Since Martz has taken over, the Bears are one of the best teams in the NFL at running screens for big gains. I also look for Urlacher to have one of the best games of his career on defense. I'd say maybe 14 tackles, a sack, and maybe another pick. If our Dline plays the way they did last week, we shouldn't have any problem winning this game.
-
Wow that's terrible news.. Thoughts and prayers go out to Urlacher and his family.
-
Something with his mom. Hope everything is ok and he'll be suiting up on Sunday, because we will need him!
-
D Line has to get after it again and force Brees to get rid of it early and lead him into turnovers. If we do that I think our offense can score pretty routinely with the way New Orleans played against Green Bay. Our defense doesn't allow for big plays down the field unless there is a mistake in coverage. The key is to keep the Saints offense off the field for as long as possible which means our offense has to sustain long drives. I have a feeling Martz is going to really spread their defense out to negate most of their blitzes and hopefully Jay is on his game
-
Lance Luis is the worst out of all our lineman so that's the only good thing about that. If you move Garza now you risk the possibility of shaking up Cutler's rhythm with a new center. Spencer should have been the starter at center in the first place but we can't really do anything about it now.
-
It really looks like this is going to be the same story as last year, as far as the offensive line goes. 5 sacks in the opener is pretty terrible. Both of our tackles played terrible and that lead to Cutler getting in trouble. It's time to go back to the drawing board and get something fixed. They didn't play that badly in the last 3 preseason games. Lets try to keep it that way.

Turner is not very fast. He's a power back but he doesn't have gamebreaking speed.

TOUCHDOWN BEARS!!! Peppers getting some pressure and Urlacher having a big day!
