  1. These kickoff penalties are really pissing me off. How hard is it?!
  2. What a horseshit no call by hochuli. That was an obvious late hit. Such bs..
  3. Packers D didn't look so hot tonight. They are very beatable if our line holds up and Jay doesn't throw the ball to the guys in green.

    Wow really?

Yeah that was one of the biggest con jobs ever by whoever was running the clock that day. It was so obvious after seeing the replay.
  5. I hate both teams but it'd be nice to see GB get an L before we match up with them in week 3.
  6. Can you say, hello Andrew Luck?
  7. Johnny Knox, the offensive line, Devin Hester as a starting WR, our DB's playing 10 yards off the receivers, Lovie's face, and anytime JA uses the word "Goodly".
  8. I don't want to jump the gun too early on this but you may be able to mark down Stephen Paea on that list after next year. We traded up to get this guy in the 2nd round and he hasn't been anywhere near a play through 4 weeks of preseason. I don't know if that knee is bothering him or he just flat out sucks. I hated the pick to begin with... But he could be heading in that "Bust" direction if he doesn't get better next year.
  9. Major Wright's natural position is at SS. That's what he was drafted as when he came out of college. That's the position he played. With the addition of Brandon Merriweather who is more of a pure FS, that means less time for Major Wright in that spot. And because Major Wright is one of Lovie's coveted projects and a former 3rd round draft pick, the Bears are putting a lot of stock into him being a productive player which means they want to give him every chance in the world to succeed. Moving Wright back to his normal position of SS next year would allow for both he and Merriweather to play at the same time and ultimately, that's what I think the Bears are looking to do. It really all depends on how BM fits in this season, but he is not just coming in here to "Fill in" for the injured. He's a talented athlete that's going to see the field quite a bit. I would definitely like to keep Chris Harris, atleast until his play starts to decline, whether that be as a starter or backup. However, I'd seriously doubt he'd resign here if he isn't going to start.
  10. The Bears won't sign him because he's not a "Martz guy" and he's never played in his system.
  11. Because I'm assuming he wouldn't be very happy with a demotion. He'd sooner go elsewhere than play behind somebody here.
  12. This is a terrific signing and he should start as soon as he learns the defense. IMO the Bears will probably cut ties with Chris Harris at the end of the season and let Major Wright move over to his more familiar position at SS and resign Merriweather to play FS.
  13. I want to see what JT Thomas can bring to the table. He's really the only young LB we have that has any sort of potential. Iwuh, Roach, and Decico all kind of suck.
  14. lmao what a douchebag. I have no respect for a player like Lance Briggs. We went through this already and he's still acting the same way. I'd trade his ass and get him the hell out of here. Sick of him.
  15. Well we are playing against the Cleveland Browns. A couple of weeks ago our depth didn't look so good when we were eaten alive by the Giants.. However I will say that I like Mario Addison and this Reed kid. Also sucks to see Bell go down, hope it doesn't mean Chester makes the team because he is still garbage.
  16. This is good for my Fantasy team
  17. I got it for the 360. Kind of a bummer they don't make it for PC anymore. Atleast then you could download mods for the game, that make it look and play better.. Funny how normal people can do that but the people at EA sports can't seem to figure it out.
  18. Yeah. Even though I knew it was probably going to suck I had to buy it anyways. Which, shame on me.. but that's exactly why EA Sports won't ever change. They know people are going to buy their product for as long as its out there because they own the NFL License. Unless there is a boycott on the game, I don't expect it to change anytime soon.
  19. Totally agree. The animations really kill it for me because then it becomes a game of "Find the glitch in the system and exploit it." For years now, the only pass that was ever completable has been the slant pattern or the occasional fly route. Now it's just flat out unbearable to even play offense in this game. You have zero time to look for the open receiver and never run a play action fake because it won't work. Physics would change a whole lot and that seems to be the direction games are wanting to push towards. I hope it comes sooner rather than later because Madden hasn't worked for me in years.
  20. How many of you that bought this game immediately regret buying it? I know I do. To anyone thinking about purchasing this game, do yourselves a favor and don't. If you had last years game, you have this years game. There seriously is nothing different in Madden 12 that wasn't in Madden 11. Sure, the "Special Team Intros" are a new feature but what they didn't tell you is how annoying and boring it gets after seeing it over and over again and how the gameplay has not changed at all. The same problems that have been in Madden for years remain in this years game. The computer AI is so bad, Tom Clancy would be rolling over in his grave if he played this game. Receivers let the ball go right past them without recognizing it was even thrown to begin with, the animations are poorly conceived, player faces are horrendous, player movements are laughable, and we all know how disgusting the commentary has been in virtually ever game. Lets just say its no NBA 2k.. Its a shame that EA Sports is such a licensing whore that they don't allow for any competition until 2014. Nothing will change until 2k Sports gets back in the game because EA knows they have no competition right now. It's the same game every year with one new feature added that they claim makes the game sooooooo much better even though it's really not, and then they throw in a roster update. I'm curious to see if anybody else feels the same way as I do about this piss poor game. I can't remember the last time I picked up a game of Madden and thought "Hey this is actually nice." I think maybe 2003 might have been it or 2005.
  21. Briggs knew what he was getting into during this last negotiation. He signed his contract, and now he's gotta live with it. I don't care if it isn't fully guaranteed. A contract is a contract and he agreed to it 3 years ago, so... tough crap for him. If he waited another 2 years to bring this up, it would be more understandable because he'd only have 1 year left but when you have only played through half your contract, it is pushing the limit.
  22. If they were reluctant to put Spencer in the starting lineup even before training camp started because they feared he wouldn't have enough time to learn our blocking schemes, there is no way we go out and sign another FA center 3 weeks into the preseason-- much less as a starter.
