Martz is an idiot. Why the hell would you call a 7 step drop on 3rd and 2? Unbelievable.
-
Hey! Johnny Knox actually caught a pass!
-
LMAO @ 1st and 30. What a freakin pathetic offensive line.
-
Jesus Christ, Johnny Knox has some of the worst hands in all of football. CATCH THE BALL!
-
FFS! Can the Bears just freakin play defense and stop jumping the snap count? we have to lead the league in offsides, this is disgusting.
-
If we lose this game then I hope we don't make the playoffs.
-
Can this overrated defense stop anybody? Now a scrub rookie is running all over us..
-
It should just be at Soldier Field if they can't have it in Minnesota.
-
Some part of me thinks, with the way the weather is suppose to be Monday night, Favre will make sure he takes atleast one more week off. We should be able to blow this team out of the water regardless and I expect us to play some inspired football given how badly we were beaten last week.
-
You could say stuff like that with a bunch of teams. That's why a win is a win. I don't see people wanting to take away Pittsburgh's win against Buffalo when they definitely should have lost in OT if Johnson would have just caught the ball. And how many times should the Jet's have lost in games that they have come back and won late? There are just so many scenarios that you could say might have happened but the reality is the Bears won those games and I don't see a point in nitpicking at their wins and calling them flukes. No, the Bears went out and won the game against the opponent.

I doubt Favre really had anything to do with it. It's probably just his associates or whomever that are trying to promote this. But regardless Peyton Manning is going to break his record in the next 6 years or however many he needs to place him #1 on that list.

Starting to get nervous with all these teams 7-3

Records have been updated again. One thing I'm noticing is that the Bears pretty much have to win there division if they want to make the playoffs. New Orleans has one wildcard spot locked up and the Giants now have the same record we do so if it came down to it, they would have the tie breaker. Luckily next week the Giants and Eagles both play each other so one team is going to have 5 losses at the end of next week. Thankfully, with the Packers loss this means the Bears can lock up the division next week with a Packers loss and a Bears win. I would like the Bears to have a first round bye so hopefully the Eagles and Giants can choke down the stretch here and the Bears pick up some steam and can win there last 3 games and they might have a chance. -
There is no way in hell they can fix all that in a week.
-
The way the game was going I think if we had blitzed more, the Pats would have put 50 on us. The defense was definitely breaking more than they were bending last night.

Honestly though, this game should have been alot closer than what it was if you think about it. If you take the BS Knox fumble call away that was never a fumble in the first place (He was down) and if the special teams played like they usually do that's what? 10-14 points taken away from the Pats? Not only that but Cutler had some awful interceptions that could have resulted in touchdowns. We should have scored 21 points atleast in that game and if you take away those plays I was talking about for the Pats it's a 21-26 game or 21-22 game. I didn't even mention the TD at the end of the half that should have never happened but if you really think about it, the Bears were beaten on about 3 or 4 plays in this game that if had went the other way, this game would have been alot closer. We just didn't make the plays that we did against the Eagles. We should have picked Brady off 3 times in this game. 2 of the 3 picks landed right in our hands but we couldn't hold on..
-
Yes. I was thinking that during the game. They really are on another level than the Bears.
-
The comparisons end when you compare a HOF quarterback to a QB that's having a breakout season like Michael Vick. Then you throw in the Pats offensive line dominance against the Eagles Oline and the Patriots win. The Eagles would be able to put up points against the Pats though because they have some dynamic receivers but as far as offenses go, it's New England all the way.
-
We all knew how bad our offense was but this game solidifies what many of us worried, that our defense is actually pretty awful. No adjustments made all game by the coaching staff, Brady had two years to throw and kept throwing those short passes to Welker that we decided to give up. Teams with an elite quarterback will pick us apart in the playoffs. The snow sucked for us today. I feel like we would have given them a more competitive game if the conditions weren't so bad. The weather realllly limited our offense.

Wow Cutler with two horrendous picks.. As if this game was bad enough. We could have atleast 21 points now but the two picks make it even worse.. -

Why are the Patriots still throwing? -

I'm wondering why we haven't figured out that the Patriots are going to run crossing routes all day long against us. No adjustments at all? -

Julius Peppers might as well should have just not come to the game today. He's done absolutely nothing to get pressure on Brady. They aren't even double teaming him. -

Lol our defensive ratings are going to suffer tremendously after this game. Well actually on both ends haha. We will be towards the back end of the middle of the pack for defense before it's all said and done. And people were comparing this defense to 2006... -

I had this being one of the games the bears lose in their final 4 but still had them doing some damage in the playoffs. Now I don't think so. Games like these destroy your momentum for the rest of the season. In no way, shape, or form did I see us losing by 40-50+ to New England. I figured we'd atleast make it a game. This is disgusting.
