  1. THATS RIGH! freak YOU VICK! First pick of the year baby! That was huge. Now lets get a TD and regain control of the game.
  2. Jesus now our defense sucks. I could throw in some of these holes that Vick has.. PLAY SOME FREAKING DEFENSE!
  3. Well that's game. Offensive line back to sucking cock. Unless the defense can score a few times we lose.
  4. Should have never scored there. We desperately need to force some turnovers and possibly score on defense. The offense now needs to respond and get some points here.
  5. Going to need a turnover here. Offensive line starting to suck big time now..
  6. God damn it! STOP THEM! Defense is falling apart a little bit..
  7. With the Packers loss this is HUGE. We need to come out and shut down the Eagles with our defense and control the clock on offense. Keep Vick off the field as much as possible and when he's on there, force some turnovers. Tillman is going to get a strip at some point in this game. If peppers plays like he did against the Packers the first time around and gets some sacks we will beat this team!
  8. I saw the stats of our 2006 team both offensively and defensively and was blown away at how good that team was on both sides of the ball. We were scoring close to 26 ppg (Thanks alot to Devin Hester's emergence as a returner and the good Rex days through the first 8 weeks of the season) but the defense was only giving up like 10 ppg while allowing 50 yards or so less than this current Bears team is allowing. They were really dominant!
  9. Looking at all these NFC teams hovering around 7-3 is making me nervous, thinking that if we don't win our division, we have a good chance of missing the playoffs entirely. I hope this doesn't end up like the Patriots a few years ago when they went 11-5 and missed the playoffs. The Packers are looking invincible now, even with their injuries, that makes the final game of the season probably the determining factor on who makes the playoffs and who stays home. This makes the Eagles game a MUST win, and beating one of the Jets, Patriots, or Packers is a MUST as well. If we don't go atleast 4-2 in our last 6 games, we might be in trouble. Even then, I think the Packers probably end up 11-5 or 12-4 as well which is also why its important to hold the tiebreaker against them. What's your take? Taking a look at each contending teams schedule.. RECORDS UPDATED: 12/28/10/ Color Code: Green = Win, Red = Loss Bears (11-4): Eagles, @ Lions, Patriots, @ Vikings, Jets, @ Packers Packers (9-6): @ Falcons, 49ers, @ Lions, Patriots, Giants, Bears Falcons (12-3): Packers, @ Bucs, @ Panthers, @ Seahawks, Saints, Panthers Saints (11-4): @ Cowboys, @ Bengals, Rams, @ Ravens, @ Falcons, Bucs Giants (9-6): Jags, Redskins, @ Vikings, Eagles, @ Packers, @ Redskins Eagles (10-5): @ Bears, Texans, @ Cowboys, @ Giants, Vikings, Cowboys Bucs (9-6): @ Ravens, Falcons, @ Redskins, Lions, Seahawks, @ Saints Beating Philly would start us off real nice because we still have two games left with Minny and Detroit but like I said, assuming we can take care of business on those two games we might still have to beat one, if not two of the Jets, Pats, and Packers. If we keep playing the way we have been we could end up 12-4 or 11-5. The Packers have most of their big games at home so that sucks for us because it's tough to win in Lambeau. I think the Falcons can beat them and hopefully the Pack can lose both games to the Pats and Giants before we play them. I still see them finishing 12-4 or 11-5 and that last game will determine the division winner. I think the Falcons pretty much won their division and they have a relatively easy schedule the rest of the way through after the Pack, if they beat the Bucs in their final meeting that would pretty much seal it for them I think. They get to play the Panthers twice and the Seahawks so those should all be W's. They'll finish around 13-3 or 12-4. How the Saints are 7-3 I have no idea. But it is what it is. They have a few tough games left and they can't look past the Cowboys who have been playing well as of late. I don't think they can beat the Falcons, or the Ravens so their final game against the Bucs could be huge if they want to make the playoffs. I can see them finishing 11-5 or 10-6. The Giants are a notoriously slow finishing team. They always get off to hot starts and then slowly fade away through winter. But seeing how they hold the tiebreaker against us, it's important for them to keep losing. They have some really tough games left to go and they have the lowest record among the NFC contenders. I could see them ending up 10-6 or 9-7. As I alluded to before, the Eagles game for the Bears is huge. If we win that, the Eagles still have some tough games left with the Giants and two more against the Cowboys which they could end up losing atleast one of those. I see the Eagles finishing 11-5 or 10-6. The Bucs are also one of those "Roll your eyes" teams that are surprisingly in contention. The NFC South is likely to have atleast one wildcard come out of it with 3 contending teams. The Bucs have the Ravens, Falcons, and Saints left as their only real challenging opponents. If they have a hiccup against the Seahawks though, that would most likely take them out of it because I don't believe the Bucs are for real. At the end of the day I see the Bucs finishing at 10-6 or 9-7.
  10. I'd love to have Fitty but if it's a trade we have to make I'm sure he'd cost multiple picks including a first rounder, and we NEED to draft offensive lineman. I don't think Jerry will want to throw away multiple first round picks ala the Cutler deal again and not use it on our most glaring weakness (OL).
  11. Well because the defense shut them out and shut outs don't happen very often in the NFL. The offense, though they didn't score a whole lot, dominated the TOP and kept the Dolphins on their heels all game. Cutler didn't play his best game but completed 3rd downs time and time again which allowed the drives to continued. It wasn't a perfect game but I'd call it a complete game.
  12. This was the first game all year where our defensive line dominated the entire game. We had 6 sacks tonight, 3 of them by Peppers. Henry Melton is playing like a beast lately, picked up another sack tonight after a good game last week. Idonije is putting up alot of sacks this year because Peppers is drawing most of the attention but that's what he's suppose to do. I'm actually really impressed with the way the defense has played all year. Though I can't truely believe in this team as a legit Superbowl contender until I see us play next week and against the Jets and Patriots. Other than the Lions game and I guess now the next Vikings game the Bears are going to be playing the Elite teams in the NFC and AFC the rest of the way.
  13. LOVED this game. For the first time in a long time there was never a moment where I was irate at something bad the Bears were doing. It was a very comfortable win all the way through.
  14. That was a hell of a hit by Manning and it saved a 1st down!
  15. What the hell? What a stupid whistle there. That was a sack fumble for a TD! God damn these refs suck tonight.
  16. That was a picture perfect drive right there ending with a Forte TD run! YES!!
  17. We need to break this thing open. It's only 6-0 we need a touchdown in the early going here.
  18. That's bull shit, if the last one was an INT this one was the exact same play and it should have been a pick as well. In all honesty both of those footballs moved but you couldn't see it on camera.
