Meanwhile, it'd be great if Julius Peppers did something this year to earn that 100 million dollar contract. -

Aromashodu would be nice, but can't expect Martz to be smart enough to put him in. After all, it's not like he destroyed the Vikings the last time we played them right?? -

Here comes a touchdown courtesy of the referees. As if we need anyone to help the other side.. THis is such bullshit. -

Wow, we definitely have the worst WR core in the league. There's another pick that goes on Cutler that wasn't his fault. Pisses me off! -

Can we play defense, please? -
The Bears schedule coming up Vikings 3-5 L @Dolphins 4-4 W Eagles 5-3 W @ Lions 2-6 W Patriots 6-2 L @Vikings 3-5 W Jets 6-2 L @Packers 6-3 L I predict the Bears will end up 4-4 in the last 8 games of the year and they'll finish 9-7. That's probably going to get them in with a wildcard but I think they really need to go 10-6 to secure a spot in the playoffs.
-
10-6 will definitely make the playoffs in the NFC and probably win the division in the north. The Packers won't go 11-5 with all the injuries they've had. I could see them going 9-7 or 10-6 and be right with the Bears in the end. If we can beat them in our 2nd meeting I think that will decide who wins the division.

Bears WR situation could have included .......

I couldn't think of a worse scenario than putting both Moss and TO on the same team. They would have destroyed this team. With that said, I still would have taken one of them because I think we could handle one, but both guys being unhappy = bad for the team. -
I noticed the Vikings game got moved to FOX now instead of NBC Sunday Night. Frankly I'd rather have it that way. I don't like when the Bears are playing Night games when they're not very good.

Lovie, Angelo, Martz, and the owner has to go.. We need an entire regime change for this franchise to be saved.
-
My god do we suck
-
There is zero risk here. Might as well take a chance on him for the last remaining games of the year and see where we are at at the end of the year. Our problems at the OL aren't going to change this year but adding a Hall of Fame receiver can help Cutler out quite a bit.
-
Yeah I don't think he'll get to us either, I think Dallas or St Louis will try to get him.. And Moss would make Martz throw 60 passes instead of 40 which isn't a good thing.. I still would like to have him on the team for the sake of having a #1 receiver and he could also be on a 9 game trial run with us because he's a FA after the year so if he plays well for us he might resign with the Bears, if he doesn't then he won't and we won't be affected.
-
Sign that fucker NOW!!!! Of course he's gotta get to us in the waiver list but if he does we could desperately use Moss. We need a #1 guy and we all know Cutler likes to throw it up there. How bout Moss and Aromashodu going up for Cutler's bombs?!
-
It was evident that when Jay has protection like he did in Denver he plays extremely well. The only reason that teamed failed to make the playoffs was because they had a miserable defense.

The product of blowing your time-outs last week

I actually thought it was a good challenge at first. All the camera views up until Lovie threw the challenge flag looked like Bennett was in. But then I saw that one angle and immediately knew he didn't get in. I won't blame Lovie for that, it's gotta be a quick decision and with our shitty goaline play he was probably thinking the same thing I was which was "Were probably not going to score if this play stands as called." However I'm not sure what went down on the Cutler fumble. I'm pretty sure you can't challenge with under 2 min to go in a half but Lovie didn't make that comment when asked why he didn't challenge so I'm not sure what to believe. -
Correct me if I'm wrong but you can't challenge a play when you are under 2 min to go in a half. Even so I was baffled at how the officials didn't even take a look at it. It was obvious that Cutler's arm was extended past the goaline and it was a touchdown.
-
That was actually a touchdown, not a fumble. And unless the rules changed I don't think the Bears could have challenged that because it was under 2 minutes, which still doesn't explain why the officials didn't take a look at it). Jay was awful today but the funny thing is is that we should have won the game. We had a 21-10 lead twice and it was called back because of the supposed Cutler fumble and the BS delay of game penalty that they just so happened to call after the fact that the Bears had just scored on an INT TD. This year is just a given that Cutler was going to have struggles. Martz's offense does not mesh well with our quarterback and our offensive line. I told everyone coming into the season that this would be a disaster on offense and sure enough it has been. Ron Turner's offense was more productable than this garbage. Not starting nor playing Aromashodu much has left me SMH all season. I just don't get it. I'm not a coach and I can tell you he's our best receiver, yet Martz doesn't see it and puts Earl Bennett in over this guy. Then they put him in a position to fail by placing him in the slot position which is definitely not his style. Tall lanky receivers do not play the slot. You want them on the outside because they can use there height to their advantage on fade routes and such. People give Martz way too much credit for being this so called "Genius" it's ridiculous. Then you factor in the patheticness of the offensive line and you get a happy feet quarterback. To Cutler's defense, I can't imagine Peyton Manning looking like himself with this offensive line. It doesn't matter how talented you are, if you don't have protection you are bound to struggle.
-
The thing is the offensive line wasn't horrendous today. Yes they weren't very good but I didn't feel like it was that bad to where Cutler didn't have chances to make plays down the field. Cutler was just brutal. It seemed like our running game was somewhat effective too late in the 3rd quarter but you can't bet on Martz to stick with it of course.
-
Well if it gets Lovie and Angelo fired I guess that's our silver lining. This season is about to turn into a nightmare. I hate to root for losses this early in the season but we could really use a high draft pick to rebuild and a new coach.
-
It's kind of sad really. Because this defense is leaps and bounds ahead of our offense but they are being wasted because of how bad Cutler and the OL have been this year. We actually, for the first time this season got constant pressure on the QB but came away with a L. We suck.
