  1. Anybody that says Cutler was good today is out of there mind. Sure the receivers stopping their routes is getting a little ridiculous but Cutler's throws today have been off, way off.
  2. The Redskins are a pretty horrible team. Cutler just gave them the win. I knew this Bears team wouldn't be very good. They are downright terrible on offense.
  3. Now is time to put an end to this game. Get a touchdown and go home with a W.. Cutler needs to step up on this drive.
  4. What a weak call. That was not holding. Idk what's been worse, this game or the refs. These referees have been awful.
  5. Christ... Cutler has been so bad. Why can't they just end in a tie, neither team deserves this win.
  6. Watch them get lucky again, I bet his knee was down right before the ball came loose.
  7. Here's your W Washington, the Bears are personally gift wrapping you this win. Seriously, the Skins have done absolutely nothing to be in position to win this game yet they are winning.
  8. And we should still be ahead.. that's what pisses me off.
  9. freakin shoot me. Unbelievable. This redskins team is so freakin lucky its not even funny.
  10. Unreal. Piss poor job by Hester. This is going to piss me off if Washington takes the lead because they should be down 21-10 now and have lucked into where they are now.
  11. Wow talk about two horrendous calls. That was easily a touchdown by Cutler, the ball crossed the plain and they didn't even REVIEW IT! Then DJ Moore with a INT TD, it should be 21-10 two times by now. Such BS.
  12. Hah. I don't know about ever but they are the worst 4-2 team in the league. The honeymoon period is over for this offense and we got off to a really good start in the first two games, and now teams know they can just blitz all day long and not let Cutler beat them because they know the Bears aren't going to run and they know of Martz's 7 step drops which probably makes a defense salivate just thinking about it.
  13. Don't call it football anymore because it's not. Call it whatever you want but this rule totally took the physicality out of the game. It's such a ridiculous rule. I would have no problem with the helmet to helmet stuff when you know it was intentional ala Merriwether. But the hit on Desean Jackson was totally legal. He hit the guy in the chest and in the process his helmet went up and hit Jackson's. The devastating hit rule is just a flat out joke and that's what I'm most upset about. That's what takes the physicality of the game away. Not only is it a joke but they don't even classify what a "Devastating" hit is. Players are well aware of how football is played, if they don't want to suffer possible consequences then they don't have to play; it's as simple as that.
  14. This is the way the NFL has been played for years, this rule will absolutely have no effect at all with the number of concussions. Matt Millen made a great point tonight, with the way NFL players are taught to hit (That being hitting the center of the chest and exploding upwards towards the helmet, this rule is just going to make more players go low for tackles which then will create more career ending knee injuries and also concussions. Most defensive players suffer their concussions because they make contact with a knee to the helmet when they go low.
  15. Yeah, I was shocked that the Redskins are actually the worst defensive team in the NFL in terms of total yards. You can throw that stat out the window though when you play the Bears. All you have to do is blitz every single play and you will either get a sack or force Cutler into getting rid of the ball before he's finished with his 70 step drop.
  16. If you all were watching MNF tonight, I guess the league is announcing that they are going to make a new rule effective immedietly that you will be suspended for a "Devastating" hit or a "Blow to the head." There having a big debate about it now on ESPN. This is a joke, a flat out joke. You can't legislate hitting in football. Now everything that these guys have been taught about hitting they can no longer do. So basically the next time Urlacher comes and lights up Roy Williams across the middle he's going to get suspended, even if he doesn't make contact with the helmet. If this crap goes on for more than this year I might give up watching the NFL. What this is is a total overreaction from a weekend where quite a few players were hit hard. This is not football anymore and it's going to cost one of our players because of it which ultimately could effect our playoff chances if one of these guys are out for a game or two because of a stupid idiotic rule. I guess Earl Bennett would then be suspended because of his hit on the punter which was a perfectly legal hit but it's a "Devastating" hit. I can't say enough bad things right now about whoever made up this stupid rule. I'm so pissed off, I can't imagine how mad these players are. What's your guys' take on this?
  17. It aint going to get any better because we are going to lose to the Redskins next week. If we win next week I'll be as shocked as ever. That team disguises their coverage as much as anyone and will bring constant pressure all day. I suspect the game will be similar to the Giants game. Cutler may go down 8-10 times again and with a pass happy Martz he will not adjust and we could get blown out. The Shanahan offense is perfect against this Bears defense. Lots of quick short passes, the kind of passes we tend to just give in to... We will need to play some real inspired football to win next week.
  18. Olsen could be a probowl TE in a West Coast type offense. We all know Martz ignores his TE's. But getting back to the question, not one of our timeouts were used to stop the clock at the end of halfs to keep the offense out there or to stop an opposing offense. They were used as mistakes because either Martz didn't get the play out quick enough or there was some personel confusion. It's ridiculous and it shows up to kill us. If we had one TO there at the end, we would have been able to get the ball back assuming we could stop them 3 straight times on the ground. Who knows what would happen from there. Were probably a good return away or a 20 yard pass play from being back into FG range..
  19. 2006 was just the perfect storm when it came to defense. Everybody seemed to be in the ripe years of their primes. Of course you had Mike Brown who was the leader of our defense until he went down with an injury. Tommie Harris was a beast and Mark Anderson was a young rookie who was playing out of his mind. He and Tommie were always bringing pressure which is a very reason why the D was so dominant. Now we have Urlacher and Briggs who are still good but they have no support behind them in the secondary and our D line gets no push whatsoever. Peppers has been making an impact but he hasn't gotten to the quarterback much at all this season and it has hurt our overall defense. When you have such a vanilla defensive scheme like the Cover 2 it's imperative that you get pressure from your front 4. When you don't, almost any quarterback can beat the cover 2.
  20. Aside from Cutler not throwing as many picks (Knock on wood) Martz has been worse than Turner's offense. Atleast Turner called far more short 3 step drops to protect what little protection Cutler had from the offensive line.
  21. Let's be real here, anybody not named Jimmy Clausen can look like Peyton Manning whenever they play against the Bears. And on the flip side any defensive end/ LB/ DT can look like Reggie White when they are rushing the quarterback. It's just ridiculous and inexcusable.
  22. Well that was two awful teams we just watched right there.
  23. LOL that guy got blown up. Too bad we still lose because we have no TO's!
  24. This team is full of fail. This is disgusting.
  25. You have got to be kidding me. What a absolutely god awful no call. HOW IS THAT NOT PI?!:?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
