I actually think our defense will step up! However I'm afraid that our offense will stink it up and put the D in bad situations. Brown has never been a great cover guy and we've done a pretty good job in rush defense this year. Andre Johnson is the key obviously. Get pressure on the quarterback and we have a good chance of winning this game. I will be watching the Minnesota game like a hawk. If we make the playoffs it will be great!

Caughlin said they go out every game no matter what prepared to win, but he said he's also going to be smart with the players. Basically he's saying, no Jacobs. Derrick Ward and Ahmad Bradshaw are perfectly capable of beating the Vikings, but Jacobs is a key contributor to their offense. I really hope the Giants can win cuz I don't expect the Raiders to beat the Bucs.

This game will alot like the Green Bay game IMO. Were going to have our hands full with there offense and I think Mario Williams is going to have a day with St Clair. On offense we should go no huddle and dink and dunk with Forte.

I want to win the Division to have a playoff game in Chicago. We may have a chance to win that game. I don't know if we can win one on the road without getting atleast some momentum from a previous win.

I was thinking about that tonight. He did much better going North and South. On his 24 yarder (His last return) That was the old Devin Hester that we've all known and loved from last year and the year before. I think he was so pumped up to put the Bears in good field position he just said "Fuuck it, I'm just going to run as fast as I can, find a hold and burst through it" and it worked. He almost could have had 2 TD's today if one person would have missed a tackle on each of the two runs. Slav I think you mentioned that in the game thread on one of his. It'd be great if he and Daniel Manning returned one for a touchdown next week and get that swagger back in the windy city heading into the playoffs (hopefully).

It's pretty obvious they need a high quality WR ala Chad Johnson or Anquan Boldin. Kyle Orton isn't a franchise quarterback but I could still tolerate another season with him IF IF we get one of those superstar receivers because they will make him into a better quarterback than what he is now. Forte is fine but I'd like to draft a RB who can step in and be a dynamic 1-2 punch. In this league its something you almost have to have to go anywhere in the playoffs and I worry Forte might keel over and die on the middle of the field next year from too many touches if we don't get him some help. We need another offensive lineman. Hopefully Chris Williams comes into next year and has a great year for us. Beekman is solid, but if we had one more really good lineman we could be pretty tough to beat in the run and pass. So basically the outline of the offense on what we need is this. - Superstar WR (Chad Johnson, Anquan Boldin) - 1 or more really good offensive lineman - Another possession receiver as a #2 or #3 next to Hester. (Could be Bennett?) - A RB to share carries with Forte next year to help take the load off of his shoulders (Preferably a speedy back) On defense we need a Safety. A pipe dream would be to get Taylor Mays in the draft but he'll likely be gone anywhere from 8-14. I can live with a Tillman/Graham CB tandem for another year I guess. The defensive line needs complete revamping. Anthony Adams is doing very well right now, he may stay but its important to get a guy that clogs the middle and stops the run so we don't have to put Urlacher in the box all the time as that 8th/9th man. Ogunleye can be replaced by a better pass rusher. Finally a 3rd linebacker next to Urlacher and Briggs.
