  1. The Bears are EASILY the worst team in the NFL, and I don't think it is even close.
  2. They need to rebuild the team with a new QB and a better offensive line. If they're going to be bad this year, they might as well be the #1 pick in the draft bad.
  3. Did anybody else see this in real time? That doesn't look good.
  4. I can't see him back next year unless he finds a way to get the season turned around. It's only week 2, but it's already starting to feel like the season is slipping away from them fast. This was supposed to be the 2nd easiest schedule in the NFL, and yet the Bears are 0-2.
  5. This is also what happens when you use both #1 picks on guys who aren't ready to play.
  6. The problem is that Ryan Pace keeps getting rid of the talent and replacing it with bad draft picks/players. First Marshall, then Bennett, then Forte, then Slauson, and soon to be Alshon Jeffery.
  7. Most likely, but we shouldn't be seeing a regression in year 2 like what we're seeing now. This has me very concerned.
  8. Have to wonder how long of a leash Fox/Pace have. This team looks noticeably worse already in two games than they did in year 1 of a rebuild.
  9. I've seen just about enough to know that this is a bad football team.
  10. I understand the reasoning for why the Bears got rid of Brandon Marshall, Martellus Bennett, and Matt Forte, but watching the offense lose talented players like that over the course of the last 2 years has been tough to watch. I can't help but wonder how bad the offense is going to be next year if they lose Alshon in free agency.
  11. The Bears also HAVE to start throwing the ball down the field more. If you're not getting anything on the ground, you have to soften up the defense somehow. Alshon was murdering the Texans secondary early in the game for easy yards, yet the Bears never went back to it in the 2nd half. It didn't make any sense. Then, Kevin White, the guy who's supposed to be really fast, didn't get a single opportunity on a deep route the entire game. WTF? How many throws beyond 10-15 yards did Cutler make the entire game? It didn't seem like a lot. The sad truth is that even if Cutler were picked off throwing bombs to either of those two, it's almost better than watching Pat O'Donell try and punt it there.
  12. Cutler's pocket awareness was really good last year. His awareness in the pre-season and week 1 of this season so far looks night and day compared to last year. I don't know why. Maybe Gase? There were several instances where he didn't step up to avoid hits, and it got worse as the game went on.
  13. Neither side of the ball looked good at all. Aside from the first 10 minutes of the game, the Bears got blown out against a mediocre Houston team with a below average-to-average QB who doesn't know what to do after his first read on offense. If the defense can't get to quarterbacks and the Bears offense can't get anything out of Langford, they will be in the hunt for the #1 pick in the draft this year. I still believe they have the talent to be in playoff consideration, but it's going to be an uphill battle.
  14. Complete anihilation by Houston in the 2nd half. The Bears starting to look like the team many figured to be one of the worst 5 in football. Hard to disagree after this showing.
  15. Why the freak would you challenge THAT?
  16. Kevin White getting shit on by Fuller today.
  17. If the Bears can't run the ball, they are going to struggle to win many games this season.
  18. And of course, then THAT happens. What a freakin joke.
  19. LOL. The ball spotting today by the officials has been a complete joke. Osweiller LOST yards on that sneak and they give him a first down.
  20. Houston's punter is keeping the Texans in this game. God damn it.
  21. Time to throw in a new RB. Langford isn't giving them anything. No excuses not to be able to run with Sitton and Long at guards this year.
