  1. Adams has been my #1 guy from almost the beginning. The leadership + the production + the intangibles make him a no brainer top 3 pick, and it's that exact reason why the Bears won't take him. They'll take one of the injured guys, Allen or Hooker, and watch Adams become the next Brian Dawkins.
  2. They now are the least talented team in the NFL after losing Alshon.
  3. Alshon going to the Eagles for 1 year 14M.. The Bears are losing their best receiver for what amounts to much less than what the franchise tag would have been. Ryan Pace is officially one of the worst GM's in the NFL.
  4. I had high hopes for Ryan Pace in the beginning, but it has become very clear that he has absolutely no idea what he's doing. What are you rebuilding if you constantly get rid of your better players ever year for guys that aren't as good? How can you develop a quarterback if he has nobody to throw to?
  5. Ryan Pace is a freakin joke. Antrell Rolle all over again. Only thing that would make this worse is if it keeps them from taking Jamal Adams with the 3rd overall pick for Jonathon Allen and his arthritic shoulders.
  6. I'd love Patterson as the special teams returner. It's about time Ryan Pace took that position seriously. Also, give me Bouye over Gilmore. Gilmore has major consistency issues. Not a bad player, but not the guy I'd be throwing my money at if I had the choice between the two of them..
  7. Why the hell wouldn't they just go after Tyrod Taylor?? He's a much better player than Glennon! Whatever they do, they must draft a QB in the 1st 2 rounds. I'm a fan of Kizer and Watson.
  8. 1- Garrett 2- Kizer 3- Peppers (Trade down) 4- Adams (Trade down)
  9. If Garrett isn't there, I like either of the two safties, giving a slight edge to Peppers because of special teams. Then draft your future QB in the 2nd round.
  10. The Bears are already playing with a JV squad. Half their team is on IR or is unable to play from week to week. The tank move you're asking for would be to start Barkley over Cutler, but John Fox isn't in a position where he's comfortable enough with his own job security to flush the rest of the season down the toilet. That said, I absolutely am hoping the Bears can hold onto a top 3 draft choice for next year. I think the odds of them getting the #1 pick are already out the door, but being #2 or #3 is still within reach. Worst case scenario is that they end up with the #5 pick. I can't see many scenarios where the Bears win more than 4 games this year.
  11. If John Fox isn't fired by the end of the season, I will have lost all faith in this organization. It's clear that whatever magic he used to have in rebuilding teams isn't there anymore. His gameplans suck as much as his clock management. I also think it's become pretty apparent that Adam Gase had a whole hell of a lot more to do with some of the wins last year than John Fox did. Cutler's progress went back down the toilet the minute he left. Last year's offense wasn't good, but at least they came out with a plan and looked organized. This whole team is a mess. The defense sucks, the offense sucks, the special teams suck, the coaches suck. I don't want John Fox anywhere near a new franchise quarterback. Get somebody else.
  12. 4 turnovers in 25 minutes... lol! This team is a dumpster fire. I can't wait until the year is over.
  13. Imagine that: Cutler heals just in time as Brian Hoyer goes to IR.

It was great to see him finally making some important plays. He did kinda sorta fall into both of those sacks, though. Both were coverage sacks where he basically just ran around for a couple of seconds until Rodgers had nowhere to run anymore. Still have to give the young kid credit for being relentless. Let's just hope this isn't his version of the Shea McClellin game. This should be good for his confidence. He needs to stay healthy.
  15. God this team is so miserable. Staring 1-6 in the face, soon to be 1-7 after Vikings game.
  16. If the Bears lose this game, it might be "Fire the coach" time. As bad as the Jags have played, and as lucky as the Bears defense has been, the Jags are still within striking distance in a game they have no business being in.
  17. Hoyer going full Josh McCown. He may "look" good, but he never seems to be able to get the Bears into the endzone. As much as we like to criticize Cutler, the Bears tend to put up more points with him at QB.
  18. The Bears defense keeps getting gifts from Jacksonville. That's about the 3rd or 4th huge 3rd down play that should have resulted in a conversion if Bortles knew how to throw the ball or the receiver could catch.
  19. That was an absolute idiotic drive to end the half there. Should have ended up in points. Fox is a moron. 3 timeouts and he lets the clock run for 30 seconds after Alshon's big 3rd down catch. Inexcusable!
  20. If you're not a great decision maker then rolling out is actually a great idea! It splits the field in half, simplifies where the ball can go.
  21. It's maddening. It never made sense to me why Cutler hasn't been allowed to rollout more as a Chicago Bear. That was the one thing he excelled at in Denver, yet I can probably count on both hands the number of times a play like that was called when he started.
  22. Meredith has had 3 fumbles in 5 games and lost two of them. That's not going to cut it. I don't care how good you are, if you can't protect the football, you are no good to the team. He tries to do too much after the catch and ends up being too loose with it. Alshon scares me half to death when he runs, too. He needs to watch Tiki Barber tapes or something.
