He's got a weak arm.

Predictions: Orton: 6/10 55 yards 0 TD 0 INT Forte: 10 carries 59 yards 1 TD Hester: 1 rec 16 yards and blah blah blah....

I wish there was someway to get him to Soldier Field. I know Green Bay doesn't want any part of dealing him to a division rival. Haa, maybe they can trade him to like Tampa Bay and then they would be able to trade him to us afterwards .

My favorite athlete period is Devin Hester. Every play he makes you can feel the electricity and excitement that surrounds him. You know he's going to break a big one atleast once every game wether it be a touchdown or a play that opens it up for the Bears offense. I remember when we drafted him. I was one of the guys that wanted him so badly but nobody seem to think the same. Idk, I guess that was just one of those times where I could say "I told yah so" lol.. Its a close race between Devin Hester and Brian Urlacher though because of what Urlacher has meant to this franchise over his career. I hope he gets his ring because he deserves it. I'm not sure how many more years he has left (Probably about 2 more good ones) especially with that back situation.

I happen to think Aaron Rodgers will do just fine. He'll have a good year. I don't expect a year like Favre had last season but he won't be one of them one year guys then looking for a replacement sorta QB either..

Cincinnati Bengals 10-6 I forsee the Bengals having a pretty solid season. Carson Palmer will carry the team as will Ocho Cinco. There running game will pick up at the end of the season and they'll end up going on a 3 game winning streak to finish off the season and get into the postseason. Pittsburgh Steelers 9-7 I predict that they get bit by the injury bug and one of there big time performers goes down for a long stretch of the season. I think they start off well and hit a wall midseason and they can't really catch up after that because the Bengals go on a winning streak. Cleveland Browns 7-9 I'm like alot of people. I think that Derick Anderson will falter and have a sophomore slump that has Brady Quinn starting the last 4 or 5 weeks of the season. Jamal Lewis is over the hill, he won't do much at all this year and overall there team will underachieve, unlike last year. Baltimore Ravens 4-12 These guys are going to suck hardcore all year, maybe even the worst team in football. There defense will be the only semblance of something good on their team but their offense will be much worse and it doesn't even matter who the quarterback is on that team. No one will do anything.

I agree. He'll probably start the season off on the PUP list but when Forte either gets a little banged up or hits that rookie wall, Jones can come in and bring new life to the club.

I can't remember, what number did he wear in Detroit? Was it 34?!

Walker beaten, robbed of cash and jewelry in Las Vegas

You always hate to hear things like this but in todays world, nothing surprises me anymore with today's athletes. -
Haaa, yeah, I haven't gotten to that quite yet. With Benson gone he's gonna have to carry the load
-
He'd be just what we need but we don't have the ammunition to take him from Arizona..
-
Just curious, but what does Haynes mean by "Cut?" Does he mean like bulked up or a different "Cut"?
-
Yeah, he's a "Change of pace back." Where he can be effective is in the passing game, but something he could absolutely excel in is the screen play, but considering the Bears are the worst screen pass team of all time that hinders his ability to take advantage of that space where he's good at, which is also why I don't think he'll be as productive as you think he will be.. All in all, I just don't see too many opportunities for Wolfe to where he can get on the field alot this season, I hope I'm wrong but he's going to have to prove alot this preseason and prove that he can be a better blocker as well to see more PT.
-
I'll take Kevin Jones on this team. He showed some good flashes in Detroit so why not if he comes cheap?
-
Yeah I know what you mean, those "1st and 10 draw dive plays up the middle on our own 2 yard line" aren't the smartest play to call; especially for a guy that can't see over his own offensive line.
-
Line of reasoning? Heres a reason, how bout Adrian Peterson's 3.4 ypc? Cedric's was the exact same, yeah thats definitely outplaying the man that just got canned.. Not to mention I remember several games where Cedric looked to be starting to run better and better but Dingleshit Turner stopped giving him the ball which made his production worse than it should have been. The one + on AP was his pass catching ability, that is it, he's not a starter, he's a backup through and through. Why should we expect anything from Wolfe? Did he do anything last year that would lead you to believe he will make an impact next season? There was a reason Garrett didn't get in alot of the plays last season, one is, he's a rookie, and the other is he sucks running between the tackles. And Garrett Wolfe is a special teams player because Garrett Wolfe played special teams last season

According To Gale Sayers: Halas Would Have Bounced Benson
Bears4Ever_34 replied to chitownman's topic in Bearstalk
I hate Gale Sayers, all he ever does is whine and bitch about not making the money today's players are making and then takes it out on the ones that do. STFU -
I don't think we should count on Garrett Wolfe giving us any kind of production this season. He's a special teams player and a spot backup, meaning he won't see much action at RB throughout the year. I think it's gonna be Forte but you know Lovie, he's gonna preach that "Adrian Peterson will take reps with the first team and we'll go from there." I hope I'm wrong about that because Adrian Peterson as we saw last year, isn't anything special and most certainly isn't a starter (He didn't even outplay Cedric Benson last year). As I see things now, were not going to have a great offense either way. I expect us to be at the bottom part of the league in the offensive category. We have no quarterback, an inexperienced runningback, no #1 or #2 receiver, a bad offensive line; and as you can see to where I'm going with this, were not going to get any high amount of production from anybody on this offense this year barring somebody has an absolute miracle breakout season. Who among the starters has that capability? I think there are only two, Devin Hester, and Greg Olsen. If we get pro bowl production from these guys, we may be alright, but we shouldn't expect it.

And they know this how?? I call B.S -
I'm betting he's still on the Bears but when you play online they'll probably have it updated to where he isn't.
-
You think Forte can get it done?
-
You want to know what I think? I think that Benson should have never put himself into these situations in the first place and everything would have been fine but it is what it is and he's now gone because of it. I was a Benson supporter and at one point I thought he could have become a star like he did in Texas but I lost nearly all hope for him midway through last season. Its very unfortunate for him, and now he's got people saying that he could be the biggest bust of all time for the Bears. I guess if you think about it, they're probably right..

alright, thank you. Well thats cool, I was always a huge fan of Marcus Robinson =)

So wait, is he playing for the Bears this year and then retiring? I don't get it....
