And I called it. Some people thought it would be crazy to take Mendenhall at 14 a few months ago saying "That's a reach" and I told ya that by the time the actual draft comes around his stock will increase dramatically that it would even be difficult to reach him at pick number 14.
-
He will be gone by the 7th round. I say he goes about the 5th round and the Bears should take him.
-
I can't see Brian playing anything other than Middle Linebacker because that's what he is.
-
ahhh well I found out that if you use the truck stick it acts as an elusive stick too (Yeah I didn't know that haha) so with Hester especially, you will break atleast 1 or two tackles everytime just by timing it right. Also I mix in a spin or two sometimes and that may allow you to break the big one. Brian Westbrook and Adrian Peterson are my favorite runningbacks to be because of there elusiveness but AP has the amazing godlike speed/acceleration to go with hit.

All you had to do was go in Hailmary formation and either scramble and outrun the defense or act like it and then chuck it 60 yards downfield for a touchdown. Another good strategy that worked for me in last years game (for a while) was playing as Baltimore and spying with Ed Reed while using the Dollar Fire Blitz defense on basically every snap. They were so agressive that if you didn't throw it within 2 seconds you would be sacked nearly everytime. Ocassionally you will get those smart opponents that will quick throw it to the Tight End for usually about an 8-15 yard gain everytime so It can work against your average to below average opponent but most times not against the "Good guys". With Denver, I just let Champ Bailey do all the work, he gets atleast an interception and sometimes a touchdown each game. They made him almost godlike with that new Icon thingy. I put him as my kick/punt returner to and he has some made crazy skills. The thing about alot of sports games is they lag soo much, so I've stopped playing madden and converted to Call of Duty 4

I play with Denver as my best team; I'm undefeated when I play as them. Champ Bailey is a god, thats really all that I need to say..
-
Haha yeah! I remember that too, I think Mike Brown was coming after him.
-
Because he had the best offensive line ever assembled since probably the Dallas Cowboys during their big run. What does Alexaner do besides run out of bounds?
-
and let it stay that way. Shaun Alexander is (or atleast was) the most overrated football player in the league, IMO he is worse than Cedric Benson. DONT PICK HIM UP JERRY!
-
I sure as hell hope not, he is god awful.
-
What ever happened to Justin Rideau? I thought he was signed to like a one year contract towards the end of the season but never played?
-
I really don't think Chad really wants to come to Chicago, he is just selling himself to whoever think they need a receiver. I would give up a 1st rounder for him I read a report a few weeks ago that said the Bengals have zero interest in trading Ocho Cinco.

Unless the football gods let Jake Long fall to us, it's Mendenhall or bust!
-
Bahahaha, that made me laugh a little bit

Anyone else disgusted by Favre's weeping today?

Nice stat! It makes sense when you think about it. Not many teams have stability at the quarterback position but Favre was a true testament to this, and because of his durability he was able to lead the Packers to many great seasons. -
You can find another Ayanbedejo just about every year.

So what, respect the man for he was the kind of player you want your kids to see day in and day out; no matter if he played for the team we love to hate. The guy is a warrior and put his heart and soul into every game. I'll sure miss seeing him on his back though but this is a big loss to Packer nation. -
Depending whether or not we will have a running back to replace Cedric this year I think its his final chance to prove something to the organization.

Mendenhall >>>>>>>
-
Jesus if they did that I would be pissed. Thomas Jones is not the player that alot of Bear's fans make him out to be. I really don't think he is that good and he basically proved that when he signed with the Jets. He can't break any tackles whatsoever and can't outrun defenders in the backfield. He was best in space where he let his vision do the work.
-
Rashard is going to be a guaranteed 1,000 yard rusher from day 1 and he's also going to catch some passes out of the backfield as well which can make him a dual threat. If it were between him and McFadden I'd probably take Mendenhall mainly because of the size and me getting to watch him every single Saturday tear it up in the Big Ten and against USC in his last game.

How do the Raiders have ALL of this money? For God sake wth is going on? They just signed like two or three other guys to massive deals and now this?
-
Can't complain, I think this is a good move.
-
Hester will be twice the player Steve Smith is IF he can learn how to catch the ball. His other tools are far superior to Smith which makes his potential limitless. Supposebley I read today that Mark Bradley is the teams #1 receiver coming into next season by default.

I heard Ayanbedejo wants to start at linebacker next year for a team to because he thought he had a great game in the probowl.
