I hate having the season openener on the 2nd game of a double header on Fox and or CBS because they never switch to "your" game if the 1st one goes into overtime or is late. You end up missing the first 5-10 minutes of the 1st quarter and thats what ticks me off. I'd rather just have all the games 12:00 Sunday afternoon

I saw today, TJ said he loves the city of Chicago and he feels like any time he comes back there he knows he has friends. JA responded about the trade by saying "We feel like its time to give Cedric a try". I love Jerry Angelo He is a great GM, Paxson should take lessons..

What are you talking about? When did Thomas Jones sit out a game? The answer is never, atleast not this year. Last year Cedric was a rookie. This year he didn't have an oppurtunity but like I said he has had alot of improvement during the last 6 games of the season which gives you a little hint that he has the potential and he has shown signs of brilliance.

The reason he hasn't proved anything is because he never got a chance to start but he was great this year (4.1 ypc) which is exactly the same as Thomas Jones. Even you must say he started playing much better the last 6 games of the season and in the postseason. If Cedric would have gotten the workload of the carries last season he would also have gotten 1,000 yards but he was the perfect changeup for TJ, and it worked out great. The fact of the matter is, this was a business decision and JA wants to see his 1st round, 4th pick and see what he is made of. Everyone has there favorite players but saying he didn't show up in the superbowl is ridiculous (I know you didn't say this, someone else did). Injuries are apart of the game and he had 2 carries. You can't base a performance off of one game when he never really played. What if he never got injured and wound up getting 100 yards and 2 TD's? Thomas Jones was a fine back but to me Cedric Benson makes more sense for this Bears team. He is physical and has some pretty quick moves in the hole. He fits the "Chicago Style" more than the Thomas Jones's of the world. I wouldn't disagree

Did I stutter? Everyone knows Cedric would eventually would become the main back and its the perfect time to make it happen. We go from like the mid 60's to the high 30's with this trade. I'm so happy about this trade its crazy. TJ was a good back but it's time for Cedric to prove he is worthy which I believe he will be.

What is your opinions on this? Without Urlacher would Briggs be as good as he is now or better or worse? IMO this whole Ordeal makes me love Urlacher even more, he didn't have to bitch his way into a contract unlike Briggs who is one cocky mo fo that doesn't respect the Bears orginazation with his comments. Idk about you but I hope we trade him as soon as we can, he will become a cancer in the locker room and probably will make some more moronic comments through the media during the season that become distractions. This team has had enough of distractions this offseason so I would just end it now by making a deal about Lance. What do you think?

Hey, I know this guy has been injured but is there anywhere possible that you guys see him as making an impact on this team next year in the passing game? Im thinking that if he has a great training camp and doesn't get hurt for a full season I think he can be the "REAL" deep threat Grossman would have. He and Hester are the two fastest players in the NFL and the two of them together on offense would be insane. Lineup at WR for a few plays a game and hopefully something works out. I believe Currie could move up as far as the number 3 or 4 position if he has a great Preseason and training camp and shows that he can be durable.
