Hopefully OAK can beat GB. That would help as well.
-
Looking forward to Adam updating this after the game
-
Why did Minnesota decline that penalty?
-
I'd give Faboluje a shot at RT before the end of this year. He showed flashes in pre-season. Move Long back to RG.
-
Not too late for Kyle Long to be a bust.
-
Imagine that, an opening drive TD for the opposing team. I don't have the data, but I guarantee you the Bears lead the league in allowing a TD on the first defensive series. Just awful.
-
Grasu is freakin awful. Please bench him. Ruined that entire drive.
-
I was going to say move him to LT, because that should be his more natural position, but I like what I've seen from Leno J.R. I'd move him back to guard and look for a more suitable RT in the offseason.

The Bears will have a new kicker next year. You can almost guarantee that. Hopefully a new punter as well. I can't stand Odonnell and his weak ass leg.
-
Miller has looked great. The Bears should draft or sign a starting TE next year and continue to use Miller the same way. Bennett has played his last game as a Bear. Fox and Pace have shown that they are willing to get rid of guys that mess with the culture of the team.

So what's the status now? Seems like the Bears caught a break this week with teams below them getting wins. We will at least fall back two spots thanks to the Eagles winning to get them to 6 wins. One of MIA or NY will be moving ahead of the Bears as well after MNF unless there is a tie. NO, STL, JAX are the 4 win teams getting to 5 after this week. OAK is the other 5 win team that could leap ahead of us, but they are currently losing to DEN. Edit: OAK wins! That makes 3 teams the Bears will fall under after this week.

I don't think there will be a single ILB'er from this team that will be here next year.
-
Ah well, it was a good tank-win.
-
Another miss by Gould. No idea why they didn't go for it. You knew he wasn't going to make a 50 yarder in the rain.
-
That play sums up the entire season. Terrible throw by Cousins. Should have been picked. Then, they can't even recover the dumb ass fumble after the dude literally gave the ball away before he was touched.
-
Almost another pick on a screen pass. Teams know it's coming now. Poor play call on 3rd down.
-
Long gives up another sack, but could have been avoided if Cutler saw it coming and stepped up.
-
Why did the Bears trade a 6th rounder for Khari Lee again?
-
I don't think Kyle Long is a RT. He's regressed a lot since he moved there.
-
Looks like the Bears have mailed it in. Not surprised.
-
I don't think Dan Weiderer really knows a freakin thing about whether he will or won't. It's anyone's guess. I guarantee you Fox isn't letting anybody know until the last minute. I still think he plays next week.
-
They'll probably win 2 out of 4 and finish 7-9. Don't see them beating Washington next week. This week's loss was devastating enough to be worth two losses; plus, Washington is fighting to win the division, so they'll be motivated. Minnesota could be in free fall by the time we play them after losing to Seattle and Arizona. This will be the Kevin White game. I think he will play and give the Bears a boost. Tampa won't roll over on us because Lovie will want to win real bad, regardless of whether or not they are still in a playoff hunt. Lastly, Detroit. They'll be tanking by this time. Fox will want to go out on a good note. The team will be motivated to win their last game, and they probably will.

This was probably Cutler's worst game of the season. I hold him mostly responsible for the loss, although so many others hand a hand in it. I counted at least 5 deep balls he missed to either wide open receivers or receivers who had a good step on their man, and he just flat out missed. His deep ball has not been on point for most of the year and it really hurt the Bears in this game today. The INT was brutal, and he could have had two others. I thought he looked confused the entire game. Mangini did a great job of disguising his blitzes. Conversely, I thought Gase had another bad game calling plays. He does not mix in the play action passing as much as he should when the Bears actually churn out some yardage on the ground. I think opponents are starting to sit on some of those screen plays we've seen all season, so now it's up to him to adjust. At any rate, the only thing I look forward to now is seeing if Kevin White suits up at any point these next two weeks. The thing about this team is that they are capable of beating most teams, but just as capable of losing to the bad ones as well. It's anybody's guess what happens the rest of the way. I'm betting they win 2 more to get to 7-9. Lastly, I think it's becoming more and more evident that the Bears #1 need this off-season is at ILB. McClellin was getting picked on the entire game, and he looked terrible. None of the ILB's have great instincts to shoot a gap and disrupt a play. They need playmakers.

Bet they'd like to have back those 2 early drives where they settled for FG's? I harp on it all the time, but for good reason. Those things always get you beat.

Hoping for 5-11.
