The first thing I would try to do to stop their defense is eliminate Dwight Freeney! if we stop their pass rush Rex can pick apart that pass defense. I think we can run on this team all day, a fresh combo of TJ and Cedric has the chance to be better than just Larry Johnson or Jamal Lewis because these guys are fresh when they come in and they have two different styles. Aside from the fact that Larry Johnson could have gotten 100 yards in that game, the Chiefs failed to stick with the run mainly because they were behind in the game but they chose to run at the wrong times with minimal play action.

They did this at home though in a dome. They play worse when they are on the road because they don't have there crowd cheering so loud as they do at home. Its the same for the Bears but they don't have near as bad of a problem as the Colts do. I think they have a horrible time stopping the run while Thomas Jones and Cedric Benson run ALL day on the Colts and our defense has a dominant performance. The key is to force turnovers, keep Manning off the field as LONG as you can! We need to sustain long drives that result in touchdowns which results when you run the football. If Grossman plays atleast average in the superbowl the Bears win this game. And if Hester returns one all the way the Bears will win in a blowout, I predict the Bears win this one 38-21.

Another week of "The Bears can't beat the high powered Colts offense" only to prove all of the doubters wrong. I think the Bears will blow the Colts out. Rex Grossman will have a pretty good game.

Agreed, Benson's avg per rush was misleading considering how much he softened up that D line for TJ to run through. Its the perfect strategy and It works well. Don't get me wrong both backs played excellent today but IMO Benson was the reason Thomas Jones ran well today. And for the future, the Bears hope that Benson can become all in one and become that bruser (sp?) and the slasher. Its really a toss up on what Jerry Angelo will decide to do next year with these two backs but alls I know is that at some point Cedric Benson will have to and will become the featured runningback to where he will be the only one running for this team. We all know it happened with Priest Holmes and Larry Johnson and Priest. Priest was also coming off of a great season and Larry just out played him into the starting role. It is also going to happen with Reggie Bush at somepoint so what is the difference? Bush was the 2nd pick and Cedric was the 4th pick and in my eyes it is the same situation.

But Cedric IS ready for the future, as in next year. Thomas Jones has been nice but running backs only last so long and with Cedric's running style he won't last as long as someone say Shaun Alexander who is a pussy and runs out of bounds everytime. He really needs to start next year.

Lol dude your nasty! Lets not forget how much New Orleans have come. They had the 2nd pick in the draft last year to the NFC Championship game. I want to congratulate New Olreans on a good game but the Bears proved they were the better team and they are on there way to Superbowl 41!!!! GO BEARS!!

Wow, Rex stepped up when we needed him the most. He just gained much more respect from me. Not that it matters but he I think stepped up from a "Qb that can't take you to the superbowl" to a "Quarterback that will manage you all the way to the SB." Obviously if we end up winning this game we go to the superbowl but it also enhances the confidence of this Bears offense knowing they can run on ANYBODY!

You have got to be freakin kidding me. This is making me astonished. Rex Grossman is sooooooooooo freakin bad, this offense is the worst in the league. And I mean we can't do JACK SHIT AND JACK SHIT AND JACK SHIT AT ALL!! Its soo bad I think Cade Mcnown could do better than this. Our defense is giving our offense a chance.

I mean for christ sakes, PUT IN GRIESE AND IM DEAD SERIOUS! GROSSMAN IS PATHETIC AND IT WONT GET ANY BETTER! I said it, we need LUCK right now on offense to do ANYTHING. If I may say so, from the beginning of the year I have said it all along. You CANNOT get zero yards on first down and expect something good to happen afterwards. You must get 3-5 yards atleast on 1st down to make yourself in better situations. If you run it with Cedric, he is good for atleast that. But instead Turner calls a lame play and its 2nd and 10 and then 3rd and 12 because they are forcing Rex to beat them.

This offense is probably the worst I have ever seen it!

We dodged a major bullet there. I hope Cedric can get us some first downs. Grossman really needs to step up for the rest of the game. We killed atleast some momentum so lets take it back with a nice long scoring drive here!

The Bears are GOING TO LOSE if Grossman can't complete one freakin pass! This game seems as if the Bears are going to get blown out, which they will if they can't score a touchdown and get SOMETHING out of the pass from Grossman. God everyone is right if Grossman starts off bad he sucks the whole game. Well we have our answer on if Grossman plays average the Bears will still win the game? Grossman has played way below average but thankfully we still have the lead. I told you 16 points will NOT win this game. The only thing I can hope for is if the Bears can get lucky on offense and our defense forces turnovers again.
