  1. Defense couldn't put a full game together. Bears offense was already a serious question mark, but the defense has major secondary issues that I expect to be exploited more as the season wears on.
  2. The offense is basically just Tarik Cohen. He is the only reason this is still a game right now.
  3. Not sure there's another defense out there who have had more embarrassing miscues than the Bears have for the last half decade. This, dating back to Chris Conte's blown coverage on Randle Cobb.
  4. LMAO, nvm. Bears defense just gave that one away.
  5. Glennon needs to come out of this game. Bears need some kind of spark.
  6. Texans already benched Tom Savage for Watson, and Watson just threw a TD.
  7. Glennon isn't a starting quarterback. If the RB's don't make plays, the offense can't do anything. The Bears haven't thrown the ball more than 10 yards down field once in this game. Glennon's pocket presence is reminiscent of Rex Grossman's. Bad.
  8. Hicks is earning that contract! Absolutely dominant performance so far in this game.
  9. Glennon is freakin trash. That sack was brutal. He's been better as a blocker than he has as a quarterback.
  10. Tarik Cohen has changed this game with his speed. My god.
  11. Wow, as good as Howard was last year, Cohen just has that next level burst that makes him special. Insane play to pick up 46 yards.
  12. Defense starting to get gashed. They've been on the field almost the entire half.
  13. Glennon starting to become a train wreck out there. Throw the god damn ball away! That's the 2nd sack he's unnecessarily taken, giving ATL a leg up on defense.
  14. Roy Robertson-Harris just saved a touchdown with that batted ball. Wow. Huge play from the rook, but the secondary has to be better than that.
  15. Glennon makes one good throw and then airmails one to Zach Miller and takes an unnecessary sack that takes them out of FG range, ending the drive. Dumb. Edit: Welp, nvm. I guess Barth's leg is stronger than I thought.
  16. Fox is as good as gone if the Bears don't drastically improve from last year. He will be coming into next season as a lame duck head coach, so the timing for a change would set itself up pretty well, if that's what Pace wants. My guess is Pace would want to bring in an offensive guy he can trust to develop Trubisky.
  17. I don't understand it. Bellamy and Thompson are never going to go away. No sense in having two special teams guys taking up roster spots as WR's when you just lost your #1 receiver a week ago and are sorely lacking talent at that position. Gentry has shown potential as a pass catcher all throughout training camp, and even flashed a few times in pre-season.
  18. It was also interesting to see Cohen didn't get that many touches today. I suppose some of that was because they wanted to see more of Langford, but they could also be trying to hold back some of his plays for the opener. That guy excites me everytime he touches the ball. He's going to help out Jordan Howard a lot.
  19. Am I the only guy who didn't realize Kevin White changed his number from 13 to 11 until today?
  20. Too late for it now, but Trubisky needs more reps with the 1's. He looks much more comfortable playing with the backups, because those are the guys he's been throwing to all off-season.
  21. Great throw and catch by Trubisky and Gentry. I'd like to see Gentry make this roster, especially now with Meredith out for the season. He and Trubisky seem to have established some good chemistry since training camp.
  22. It took TEN's first team offense 3 quarters to score on the Bears D, who have been playing with their 2nd/3rd stringers for most of this half.
  23. Cut Lamar Houston now. That's his 3rd off-sides penalty in the quarter!
  24. I'm a Bears fan, and I want the best quarterback to start. After two trash games, Trubisky had clearly outperformed Glennon coming into today's game. Glennon most likely played well enough to hold onto his job for week 1 after his performance today, but I'm not going to sit here and lie about how "great" he was, like I expect most of the media to do about today's game. In reality, he only looked great for 1 series. His accuracy and decision making started to get worse as the game wore on. I want to see how Trubisky performs here to open up the 2nd half.
  25. His accuracy has been wildly inconsistent since the first series. He's now made multiple panic throws on 3rd down that are well short of the sticks, which drives me crazy. When he gets a clean pocket, he's looked okay, but under pressure, you can see how uncomfortable he looks, and it makes his already weak arm look even worse when he's forced to throw it down field.
