  1. You're right. I don't know why I gave them an extra win. The Falcons, Bucs, and Seattle games are going to be the most important ones to watch this week. Those are the 3 teams ahead of us, aside from GB. I don't see the Pack falling out of the wildcard. Also, Atlanta still has TWO games left with Carolina. They are a good bet to miss the playoffs.
  2. Wildcard: (5)- Packers (8-4) REMAINING OPPONENTS: at Lions (4-7), vs. Cowboys (3-8), at Raiders (4-6), at Cardinals (8-2), vs. Vikings (7-3) (6)- Seahawks (6-5) REMAINING OPPONENTS: vs. Steelers (6-4), at Vikings (7-3), at Ravens (3-7), vs. Browns (2-8), vs. Rams (4-6), at Cardinals (8-2) In the hunt: (7)- Falcons (6-5) REMAINING OPPONENTS: vs. Vikings (7-3), at Buccaneers (5-5), at Panthers (11-0), at Jaguars (4-6), vs. Panthers (11-0), vs. Saints (4-6) (8)- Buccaneers (5-6) REMAINING OPPONENTS: at Colts (5-5), vs. Falcons (6-4), vs. Saints (4-6), at Rams (4-6), vs. Bears (5-6), at Panthers (11-0) (9)- Giants (5-6) REMAINING OPPONENTS: at Redskins (4-6), vs. Jets (6-5), at Dolphins (4-7), vs. Panthers (11-0), at Vikings (8-3), vs. Eagles (4-7) (10)- Bears (5-6) REMAINING OPPONENTS: vs. 49ers (3-7), vs. Redskins (4-6), at Vikings (7-3), at Buccaneers (5-5), vs. Lions (4-7) *(4)- Redskins (5-6) REMAINING OPPONENTS: vs. Giants (5-5), vs. Cowboys (3-8), at Bears (5-6), vs. Bills (5-5), at Eagles (4-7), at Cowboys (3-8) Probably going to keep this updated until the Bears are officially eliminated. What we need this week: - DET over GB - MIN over SEA - TB over ATL - NYJ over NYG - DAL over WAS
  3. Something that I think is worth mentioning.. Bryce Callahan can play. What a find by Pace and this staff. He played a hell of a game last night.
  4. Unfortunately, the Lions will be playing to win that last game as Jim Caldwell needs just about every win he can manage to save his job. The Bears playoff chances are still very slim. They really have to win out to have a realistic shot because of all the tiebreakers they lose out on. One of Minnesota or GB should be locks for a wildcard spot. Atlanta still only has 4 losses, though I feel like they could lose to anybody these days. They could conceivably end up with 7 losses. Seattle is about as average as their record indicates, and they still have to play AZ again. There should be no way the Bears lose any of these next two games. If they do, it would be a colossal disappointment. The real test comes against Minnesota and Tampa Bay.
  5. I don't care what happens the rest of the way, this win makes the season a success. Finally got one against this team with Rodgers at QB and it feels so good. Happy Thanksgiving!
  6. This is really going to be a devastating loss if they blow this.
  7. Typical John Fox move. A few runs and a punt. I knew celebrating Porter's pick was premature.
  8. More mistakes.. Packers have all their timeouts. Going to need another stop.
  9. I don't think the Bears have played well enough to win this game. Too many missed opportunities. It should be at least a 2 score ball game right now. Hope I'm wrong, but this doesn't feel good. The Packers are hanging around.
  10. This play calling.... Sooooooo many stretch runs for negative yards... WHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYY? The Packers are over-committing on those plays and Adam Gase still hasn't called a single play action bootleg.
  11. And why can't they just call a simple QB dive? I mean, they had the ball on the 3 inch line and run a freakin stretch play that loses 3 yards. It shouldn't be that hard. If they lose this game, we are going to go back and look at that series and the one before halftime where they gave the Packers a free 37 yards.
  12. I'm sorry, but Gase's play calling in the redzone is freakin awful. WHERE ARE THE BOOTLEGS!?!
  13. This run defense is so bad. D Line is getting destroyed on every play.
  14. No team gets calls like GB. They have the refs in their back pocket. Have for YEARS.
  15. Absolutely ridiculous drive to start the game. Inexcusable!
  16. Kickers just don't miss against the Bears. Just freakin terrible luck.
  17. Jeff Rodgers with another dumb ass decision to squib it, giving the Packers great field position..
  18. Now get into halftime and score 7 on the first drive of the 2nd half. Boom!
  19. They HAVE to come away with 7. Ball is going to be at the 1 after this review.
  20. His special teams unit gave up a 60+ yard return to set the Packers up with perfect field position right after the Bears scored. His decisions to keep Mariani as a returner should be enough grounds for a firing, but his coverage teams have been really bad most of the year.
  21. There's no way Jeff Rodgers can have a job with this team next year, right?
