  1. Get this idiot ST coordinator off the team. This is worse than Joe D. I never thought it would be possible to have a coach who has even less of a clue than he did.
  2. Chiefs would still have no points on the board had it not been for special teams.
  3. Grasu got destroyed. Special teams fucks us again.
  4. Special teams continues to be a detriment. Can't imagine a team having a worse special teams in the league right now.
  5. I continue to be impressed with Adam Gase's play calling. Lots of creative looks already. It's just a talent issue right now, but you can totally see them being a great offense when everybody is healthy.
  6. Only way the Bears win this is: 1) They get a bunch of turnovers on defense that leads to easy points 2) They pound it over 30+ times to the RB's for 150+ yards I'd love to be wrong, but I don't see any of these receivers stepping up enough to give Gase the opportunity to use the full playbook on offense. This is going to be another condensed version of the offense for yet another week. It's got to be frustrating if you're Cutler and Gase. I expect Marty to be targeted early and often. Now would be a great time to use Langford as a receiving threat. He's probably the fastest player the Bears have on offense right now.
  7. Didn't Jeffery injure his hamstring in a freakin walk-through? I'm sure he wasn't running at full speed either. There's no way his pull could have been bad enough to keep him out this long. I normally don't like to call players out on their toughness, but I think Jeffery is dogging it. I can't see it any other way. Get the freak out there and play ffs!
  8. I hope Jeffery doesn't think he's going to get paid big by not playing at all this season. Teams hold that against you in negotiations. Hard to believe these minor tweaks have kept him out for over 2 months. First the calf, and now the hamstring.
  9. I really wish that Fornette kid could come out. That dude has the next Adrian Peterson written all over him.
  10. Detroit will be 0-5 before the Bears matchup against them in week 6. With the talent they have on the field, there's no way on God's green earth they should even be in consideration for worst team in the league. That's an instant "Fire the coach" if that's the case.
  11. Kevin White doesn't have to be a pro bowl WR right out of the gate to have a major effect on this offense. The minute he plays in a game, he'll be the fastest player on the field more times than not. Speed is the #1 concern every opposing defensive coordinator must account for. As long as he can still run really fast, he's going to have an impact. As for the Tavon Austin thing-- He's been pretty good since entering the league. Very explosive playmaker as a runner, receiver, and kick returner. I'd definitely take him in Chicago.
  12. This is as good as Cutler has played since that 6 or 7 game stretch in 2010-2011 when he was in his 2nd year under Martz before he broke his thumb. He looked pretty good in year 1 under Trestman for a chunk of games too, but even now it looks better than that. I feel like he's completely comfortable with the play calling for maybe the first time in his career as a Bear.
  13. Yeah, I don't get what the deal is here. What did he say that was wrong? Do you disagree that this offense doesn't change completely when Alshon and Mr. White are on the field?
  14. The schedule definitely is easier now, but the last 5 games in particular is when I think the Bears will rack up most of their remaining victories for the year. San Francisco is garbage. Washington is below average, Minnesota is good, Tampa sucks, and Detroit is probably below average now as well. Having said that, these next 3-4 games are going to be difficult. We're 10 point underdogs against KC next week. I don't see a W there. I also can't imagine the Lions starting the year 0-6 by losing to the Bears. They always play much better at home, especially against the Bears. Minnesota and San Diego are winnable, but we won't be favored in either of those games. I see best case: 2-2, but more likely 1-3.
  15. Not surprising at all. He had his hand on the ground a lot more today while the Bears were in nickel and he still didn't make any plays. If we can get a 6th for him, I say let's move on.

    McPhee

Jenkins and McPhee now looking like FA steals. Getting Ratliff back will help take more of the pressure off them, too. Imagine a speed threat at OLB opposite of McPhee, like a Clay Matthews/Von Miller type.
  17. Montgomery broke his fibula per Fox. That would be a season ender I would assume. Ugh..
  18. Never said Bennett deserves the blame. It was a bad throw, but Bennett still could have done a better job going after it more aggressively. I don't think he realized Woodson creeping up on him.
  19. Plenty of time for redemption.
  20. Of course he under threw it, but my point remains.
  21. Martellus could have played that ball more aggressively, though.
  22. Lol, you can't make this stuff up.
  23. Forte pissed at Doucasse for going outside on the block.
