Not surprising at all. He had his hand on the ground a lot more today while the Bears were in nickel and he still didn't make any plays. If we can get a 6th for him, I say let's move on.
Jenkins and McPhee now looking like FA steals. Getting Ratliff back will help take more of the pressure off them, too. Imagine a speed threat at OLB opposite of McPhee, like a Clay Matthews/Von Miller type.
Never said Bennett deserves the blame. It was a bad throw, but Bennett still could have done a better job going after it more aggressively. I don't think he realized Woodson creeping up on him.
With Jeffery and White in the lineup you can really see this offense taking off under Gase. The fact that Cutler is able to perform this well with a shaky offensive line and no receivers is pretty shocking. Credit goes to him and Gase for coming up with good gameplans.
The defense still has no talent on the field, but they are making the most of it right now because of Fangio. Regardless of W/L's these are the things we as fans should be looking for as signs of encouragement for the future.
Our special teams is easily the worst in the league. Raiders have started with great field position in all but one drive. Guys either aren't in their lanes or are getting too easily moved out of them. Meanwhile, our returner is slower than slow and probably wouldn't be returning college kickoffs at this point.
